Strength:

deep, low, hard hitting bass...if you have enough power. low tones i've never heard w/other subs. i have to hit mute so i can see my rear-view mirror to stop the shaking. it's freakin' loud.

Weakness:

need a huge ported or vented box. need lots of power. should use a couple power caps to keep headlights from dimming.

if you're into rap music or anything bassy, or if you're into spl, go for it. i recommend getting one used or hunting for a good deal. they're expensive.

Strength:

Very loud hard hitting bass. A nice low deep bass.

Weakness:

Size , you have to have a big box for one of these 15"s so if you have a small car or truck it is very hard to fit it.

I got a good deal from a friend who had no room in his new car for them so he hooked me up. Find a good deal because these speakers are very expensive. I would recomend this sub to anyone, I recently had 2 10"s in my truck but when I put this 15" in I was like Dam!! they hit so much harder and deeper an excellent sound. And I only have 300wts to my speaker thats almost half of what it can take and it still hits hard.
It's an excellent speaker.

Strength:

Most powerful sub out there / Strong, solid bass - deep and resonant / Durable as an M1 tank

Weakness:

Price / Size

Well, I don't own one, but my best friend does. I've seen this thing in action many times, was there when he installed it, and there when he bought it, so I feel I can write a review of it.

This thing is B I G. And heavy too, it was rough getting them into the boxes he bought. He installed them in his Tacoma pickup and they sound great. The design is superb as well. Unique in the world of "me-too" subwoofer designs.

The bass in these things is simply increadible. I've never heard deeper, louder bass in my life from a car sub, but here they are. If you've read my review of the Pioneer TS-W203C, you know that I'm not a bass fanatic. However, these things are for you if you're into bass. They're a bit too loud for other music, however. They don't throw out the soundstage that my Pioneers do.

But these things aren't for rock music, they're for in-your-face bass, and they do a wonderful job at giving it to you.

If you've got the wallet to back up this purchase, go for it. You won't be disapointed.

Strength:

This Speaker has mad bass, there isn't a bettter speaker out there as far as size and hard hitting bass is concerned. I've also enjoyed setting off car alarms, broke the glue seal of the front windsheild(window came loose), Broken a screw in a box, made friends sick.

Weakness:

Fairly big box, bass panzies need not try

find a good deal, and hook yourself up if your a bass fanatic, there isn't a thing that will pound you more(cept the 18 stoker) without going for a 32 inch clarion(a nice speaker)... If you like to be rattle the ppl next too you and pound like no other this is where its at, ppl out side your car will feel the bass just as much or more than you, but may not hear it as loud

I have an amazing solobaric, but it can't keep up to this although its box is smaller, my bro runs two DVC-Power Punch 15' in a 2000 dakota, and mine running in a quarter ton suburban makes him cry about how weak his is

Strength:

LOUD!!!DEEP!!! And, remarkably, tight as well. Catches more looks than any other sub too because of unique design.

Weakness:

Some SQ notes sound like a-s-s, but other than that... oh yeah, box size.

THIS SUB IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!!!! I can't stress that enough. I'd go and listen to one first. If you want DEEP bass, this is the sub to get. I ran this for 30 minutes in my car (note this is not my first system, check above for previous...) and when I got I felt QUEASY. Most subs will hurt your ears after awhile but this thing rattles your guts. First thing people say when they hear it is "Sh*t that's deep!" SQ isn't the greatest although the bass is some of the tightest I've heard (esp. from a 15). The other thing is things look SWEET!!! The pictures are kind of odd because they don't really convey how cool they look. I've had a lot of systems and never has any sub gotten so many people to stop and stare inside my car (back seats are down). Box is a pain because it needs to be so big. I actually built mine to recommended specs which is almost 5 cu ft. Worth it though.

Similar Products Used:

12" GSI ULX-124, 12" Pioneer IMPP, 12" Audiobahn AW-1200, 12" Audiobahn ALUM12, 15" Eclipse Aluminum. SQ is better with Audiobahns but not nearly as deep/loud. Eclipse seemed a little nicer note but got really sloppy. Stroker hits tight bass. Others aren't even worth comparing...
