Very good SQ, very deep, shallow mounting depth, small box, pretty sensitive, and the price is very good ($125 for one 10DVC)

Not too pretty!

I am now a diehard ID fan. This sub sounds incredible off of my Alpine 100M (about 250 watts at 2 ohms mono). It is the most realistic bass I have had in my car. I will use this thing until it falls apart (or until I get an IDMAX).
I highly reccomend them to anyone on a budget, or anyone for that matter.

I have the IDQ10 single voice coil. This subwoofer is absolutely amazing with depth, tightness, and tone. I have it installed in a sealed .73 cu. ft. 3/4" MDF enclosure and powered by a small 120W Alpine amplifier. I think you would have to spend atleast double the $90 I spent on this woofer to even get close to the sound quality. Three times as much is more likely.

I got 2 12" IDQ DVC and a box from MMXpress for about $410 including shipping and tax (its in state). The price was competitive and the service was great. After hearing them, I know I got a great deal. These things dont sound like $135 subs. No, they sound as good as anything Ive heard. Everyone is always talking about their great SQ. Well, they are telling the truth. If you want to listen to MUSIC these are awesome. They arent toys for pimple faced 16 year olds to piss people off with, they are toys for music listeners to enjoy. They sound so crisp and clean...

They dont look that cool. I wish they were more than just black cones. They arent super loud but they definately bump. And its a clean bump at that.

Hell yeah I reccommend these! Buy and you will be happy.

the real low notes tend to give my friend's headaches, but other than that none

I paid $200 for both woofers (dealer's cost plus 10%) i would recommend it for anyone out there looking for and inexpensive sound quality subwoofer.

Not the loudest, but that's not what I bought them for

I picked these over RF, Eclipse, others. They go soooo low. The 12DVC hits 14 Hz. Nobody else can claim that. They are rated to 300w continuous, which is what I'm giving them, and they're fine. I have heard people giving them 500w continuous and they're fine. I am pushing them from 90Hz down with a PC2150. They are very tight and clean, and in the car they can get very loud as well. I can't turn them up too much because my car rattles (maybe I should spend more on a car instead of my stereo..lol). The only sub I have heard that is close are the aluminum cone subs from Eclipse. They are (in showroom) as clean and much louder, but also about 3 times as much cash. I haven't heard the Kappa perfect, but I've heard it's not as good as the Eclipse. I picked these because I wasn't looking for really loud, just kinda loud and very clean, which is exactly what I got. I have 2 IDQ 12 DVC in a 2.0 cubic foot box. I may move up to the IDQMax when it comes out, but I am so happy with these I may keep them. Can't be beat for the money (about $125 each) and they're hard to beat for a lot more money unless you're a bass head...then buy some Strokers or something that is loud but loose sounding as a goose in heat and blow your eardrums out for me. SQ is what it's about, and this delivers.

I paid $90 with no taxed cause my cousin own a store. First I doubt he power of it casue this sub is way too cheap for its performance. Hm.. I match it with PPI 1400 and doing at 400x1 in my MR2. I only have 1 sub and Man o Man is it slaming or IS IT SLAMING! I tried Boston Pro 12.5lf and jl w's 0,3,6 and also boston competitor to see if anything can beat but but.. I have to say no compare to those subs. O! ya and also Thunder Subs... hm.. its no comparison. It has lil bit of boston pros and all the jl with the slam of some serious SPL. So basicly.. everything u want it.

These subs are the well worth the investment. I have not yet heard a clearer or crisp sound come out of any other sub.

They give me a headache when I turn them up to loud.

I bought 2 IDDVC 12's about one year ago for about $200 a sub. I don't think I got the best deal but the performance of the sub has made me feel very good about the cash. I'm running a 4 channel Cobalt 600 watt amp with a lightning bolt cap powered by the new Panasonic deck. I love every piece of it. I have not experienced any distortion or problems with the subs. I'm planning on buying 2 more 12's to finish the system off. I would recommend these subs to anyone.

I paid $120 apiece for my 2 IDQ 12's (off of a guy on Ebay), and I can't say more good things about them. EVERY kind of music I throw at them they handle with ease, and with 450W RMS going to each of them (1.0 cu ft/each sealed box), they pound when I feel the need. Praise is all I have for these subs, you won't find a better sounding sub for the money. It's literally music to my ears, the way music was intended to sound.

The sound clarity is the best I've heard in the price range and it beats hard. I have 2 12DVC with 800 watts going into them and they shaked my house when I roll up in my garage. The price is also unbelievable for what you get! It's almost too good to be ture!

For around $600 for 2 12"DVC and a good amp with a decent box, you will have a sweet system. I suggest these subs for any type of music. Hits hard in rap and plays the beats perfect in rock. Also these subs sound a lot better in a sealed small enclosures, so if you have a truck, I would suggest getting in it right now and roll up to your nearest audio store and order a pair or two. Even if you don't have a truck, get them now, they are well worth your green!

I paid 250 for the pair but mine happen to be custom built Image dynamic subs. They are custom built for sound quality with a larger magnet and a looser spyder. So all you guys who think the ordinary IDQ12dvc's sound sweet, you should hear these, it is unbelieveable how well these hit and sound. Try listening to the 4th song on fear factory obsolete. it hits every single one of those drum beats, HARD!
I would recommend this subs to everyone!
