My friend bought 3 of these with a soundstream amp i was not very impressed i thought they would be a lot louder for having 3 10s i wouldn't have spent the money on them i have heard a lot better and a lot louder for the price that he payed even cheaper

very very clean loud bass hear every note and still be able beat other peoples system with 2 12 or 3 10s of a different brand

the foam surround and this one time i was cleaning out my car me and a freind where carrying the subs and the box and dropped them and knocked all the magnets loose we had to align the magnet they need to be bolted down or somthing but other wise hope u dont drop urs and the dust caps popped off had to super glue them

10w6 are the best sounding subwoofer ever they hit pretty hard too for how good they sound i have 3 jl 10w6 and they beat everbody elses system except for my older brothers he has 2 kicker 15L7 squares and those are loud mine out pound others such as 2 12 cerwin vegas and three 10 kicker comps but mine sound better than all of them and when people want to listen to loud clean bass they always want to listen to my system because it is louder than theres and sound way better i would reccomend these to anyone who wants nothing but the best sounding bass that can still pound out other systems but i am upgrading to three 15w6 and when the w7's come out im getting those by the way i paid 250 for all three and the box with a custom fiberglass face

Slams hard as FUUCK if you hook em up right.

I have 2 10W6's, but currently my "summer" car is in storage, so I'm just running 1 10W6 @ 3 Ohms, and this thing slams with about 400 Watts going to it. People think I'm supporting 2 12's when they hear my single 10W6. They can't belive it puts out soo much bass!!! Very clear and LOUD. I have it hooked up @ a 3Ohm Load, with a Punch 250a2, and this booms like crazy, I get props from everyone. I'm going to put 2 10W6's in my Mustang in the springtime..I CAN'T WAIT!

Nice, Clean bass. Lots of money but worth it.

My first pair was good, had to replace one jl audio in my custom box once cause the foam piece broke. I was a little dissapointed but didnt lose my interest in jl audios. I bought another one and replaced it myself, these are truly great speakers.

I have two 10W6 JL Audios in a custom box in my 1992 accord ex, with a porthole in the rear deck. Let me tell u, for two 10 inch speakers, they kick hard BASS. I get props everywhere i go and people dont believe me when i tell them they are only 10's. My friend has two 12 inch super pros, which super pros make them up to like 20 inches cause they are super wack!!! and i kill him with bass comp. I am juicing up these two babies with ONE JBL blue line amplifier 600 watts RMS. I thought i needed more juice but they keep my at my level. Everything in my car shakes and i hear every beat when i play a song. Recommended 100% for serious car fanatics like myself. Hopefully will upgrade to 12's but very expensive, will need a new amp to.

I had 2 fifteen inch solobarics and my car had plenty of extra room but I didnt liked the fact that thet where loud but they did not gave me deep bass at low volume. I replaced them with 3 10w6" with a dual 6ohm voice coils. wired them to a Punch 800a2 brought them down to a 4 ohm mono load bridging the amp and now Im getting about 975 watts out of this system, the best thing is that I get a cleaner sound at low and louder volumes. I also get really clean deep very deep bass. So at this point Im very happy with my W6, some of my friend think that I only perfected the Solobarics with a different amp not knowing that Im pushing 10's not 15" subs.

I have to say that JL is a very well rounded company and they take good care of there customers. Their speakers are good for just a nice sound, but not DB drags as i soon found out.

There product is weak in strength and high in manufacture defects, I have owned my 10w6's from just over a year now and they have been sent back twice already. And no they weren't blow it was from weak glue joints. This seems to be a problem to me when JL is concidered one of the better speakers out there. I was fooled and would like my money back but I can see that isn't happening

Good speakers if you aren't running any competitions, they have good sound for the mediocre system. I personally will not buy them again and i would like to unload the ones i have now. If interested e-mail me

THEY HIT HELLA HARD!!! THEY HIT HARDER THAN ANY SYSTEM I'VE EVER HEARD, ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T HEARD THE CERWIN VEGA STROKERS YET. I'M PUSHING THEM WITH 1500 WATTS RMS FROM A ROCKFORD FOSGATE 1000A2 BRIDGED IN MY 95 ECLIPSE GSX. IT'S A TIGHT FIT, BUT IF YOU WANT TO GO DEAF, YOU GOTTA SACRIFICE!

NONE. THESE SUBS HIT SO HARD I HAVE TO WEAR EAR PLUGS IN MY CAR WHEN LISTENING TO THEM AT FULL POWER!!! MY MIRROR POINTS AT THE FLOOR, MY BACK WINDOW FLEXES ABOUT ONE FULL INCH AND IT RUINED MY REAR WIPER BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT POUNDING AGAINST THE BACK WINDOW!

I HAVE HAD 3 DIFFERENT SYSTEMS WITH JL AUDIO SUBS AND THIS ONE IS THE BEST TO DATE. (3)12W6'S IN A SEALED BOX PUSHED BY A $1100 AMP. THE BEST AMP ROCKFORD FOSGATE MAKES PUSHING 1500 WAYYS RMS. I SET OFF ALARMS FOR FUN. I RATTLE PICTURES ON WALLS WHEN I DRIVE DOWN THE STREET. IF ANYONE WITH THESE SUBS DISAGREES, I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE GREAT SUBS AND EITHER ARE PUSHING IT WITH A SMALL AMP OR A NO-NAME AMP, OR MAYBE JUST HOOKED THEM UP WRONG. IF YOU WANNA CHALLENGE ME I'M UP FOR IT, I WILL PROVE THESE SUBS WILL BE THE BEST YOU'VE EVER HEARD.
