Strength:

Smooth and clean, afordable

Weakness:

low spl, low power handling

Good sub for the money. Ifyou like bass that'll tickle the hairs on your a** look elsewhere. Ifyou looking for smooth clean bass at an afordable price this fits the bill.

I recently bought 2 of these in an enclosed custom JL box. They are running off a Zapco AMG 350 amp, and in a Prelude. I can't believe what these things can do, I used to have a 12" Pioneer running on a Phoenix Gold, and these just blow it out of the water, with the quality they put out

A very good woofer, WITHIN ITS PRICE RANGE. it is not amazingly tight nor loud, nor deep. It shouldn't be for what you pay.

I have 3 10W0's running off an MTX amp in a single reflex bandpass box and they are getting 100 watts RMS each. The subs sound excellent and for the price they can't be beat. They don't go really deep but they still have a lot of punch. If you don't want to spend a ton of money and want quality sound I'd go with the 10W0's

I bought this woofer to replace a smaller Kicker freeair. I wanted more impact and low extension and was also tired of bottoming out the Kicker. The JL is in a sealed box and I'm giving it 130W, a touch over it's full rated power handling. This sub is very clean and accurate but lacks the resolution of the Kicker. Power handling is exellent and response is linear over the power band. For a 10 inch this baby really has guts but the lack of articulation bugs.

For the price, you sure as hell won't get a nicer sounding sub... im only pumping 50 watts RMS into this bad boy, and it THUMPS like a mother.... VERY very clean sound... good bang for the buck, i'd recommend it to anybody.

Strength:

Tight bass, gives high spl levels, i only have two 10 w0 being powered by an xtant 603x, the amps mono channel only give 150 watts at 2ohms so they are not getting a lot of power but they thump really loud. Great for the price.

Weakness:

one weakness is that they flutter when you try to push them with a full gain on the amp other than that they are perfect for a cheap budget.

I would recommend these subs to anyone, they are a very efficent sub at a low cost, i have seen them for as low as 60 on the internet. Box is small so it can fit in most trucks with ease.

Similar Products Used:

Rockford fosgate 12inch DVC, they where in a bandpass box, they pounded harder and played louder but they blew too easliy. The sound quality was not as good either.

Strength:

I have two 10w0-4 in a 1.16 cu/ft comman chamber box with them running off a Alpine 3527s 4 channel amp brigged into 2 channels making about 75 watts each sub. Man they hit hard I had the car looked at by a iasca juge and he says that can hear 130 to 131 bd. Off that little power man what is going to happen when i go to a rubby 502 soundstream amp!!!!!!!!! Thanks JL for doing your home work on producing a chep by very efective sub.

Weakness:

NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great in expencive sub that will work any where. I am moving my subs to a 1.50 cuft comman chamber latter this summer so i will report back with that.

Strength:

These little bastards pound. I got 2 in a double band-pass box running of a Fosgate 150a2 and they are amazing. Whenever I show my sh*t off people cant believe their only 2 tens. Highly recommended for clean, clear bass and affordable cost.

Weakness:

None. I pound these subs daily and they don't let me down.

These subs are great. When I first got them I couldnt believe what I was hearing. My throat was hurting and my hat shakin on my head. I had to fix a lot of rattling in my car cause they shake the hell outta it. When I role up to school in the morning my buddy says the window in his classroom vibrates and he can really hear my bass. GOOD SH*T!

Strength:

Scares the hell outta old people(kill em all!)
Got two of em running at 200w each.
Cranked, no distortion.
These guys rock.
Handles over the power rating.

Weakness:

Lowest end of JL Audio line of subs.
No more- cant expect more only spending 140 on two subs!

Running them in the back with a dual 10" bandpass box with two ports. The only problem is I have to turn the bass down when I drive up so i dont wake up my parents (aka the bastards).

If you are looking for subwoofers for very very little money and have a 300w amp, power these guys up and prepare to shake.

Im running these with two 6 1/2" Kenwood 1687's in the front, sound excellent together.

Email me any questions, I searched around before I found these awesome pair so I might save you the time too.

rockford 10" subs- beat their price (by far) and performance
