Strength:

I love the price that I paid for my subs, the looks, and most importantly the way the bump.

Weakness:

So far I have no dislikes about the jl's.

I paid $150 for my 3 10 inch JL subs that were already in a Proedge box.The only reason I paid so little for them was because a friend of mine had to sale anything he could to come up with rent money,so I bought them from him.Yes,I would recommend these to anyone who wants a lot of bump in their trunk.I know that a lot of professional's buy these kind of subs,so if you can afford it then go for it and if you can't afford them, then save your money and go get 'em.

I had 2 12" Blue Thunder subwoofers in a bandpass box>>and to put it short>they sounded like 2 6 by 9's compared to my jl's,so I sold them fast.

I got my three 10" JL W0s in a sealed JL Pro Wedge box for $322.00 and thats the first strenght. I can turn heads for that cheap. They also dont need a very powerful amp to sound good... i only use an Alpine 100M. They are tight, precise, and VERY loud.

Weakness:

dont seem to go as low as some others, but i think that's because of the size.

I am by no means an Audiophile, so i was looking for a mint budget system. If you're like me...wanting to turn heads and sound LOUD....then the W0s are THE sub to have. They leave little requirements for a costly amp and they fit perfectly in the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Even if you have a huge amp that you dont want to ditch, you dont have to be afraid to use it...thse subs can handle WAY over their rated wattage....my three 10" make up the LOUDEST system in my school parking lot, and they beat out my friend's Cerwins easily....

three MTX 6000 Blue Thunders...the JLs were far superior, needing a small amp that costs far less, compared to the MTXs that needed upwards of 1000 watts.

Strength:

it hots very loud for the money u pay for it. i got 3 12ohm 10z in a box and they slam.

Weakness:

they dont hit some low notes, but they almost get there if u give em enough power.

i payed 365 4 the 3 10z and the box. i would recomend it 2 any1, the bass is tight and loud. mine will sound better once i get my crossover hooked up though

Strength:

It was cheap, loud, and has good punch for it's buck.

Weakness:

the bass is good but not deep enough for me. if u like deep deep bass then try another sub.

I bouth my 2 10's W/0 in a bandpass box for $300. I think I over paid. The subs are good but not great. I run the mono pumping 350 rms watts towards them. My stereo sounds good and it turns heads but I want deeper bass. But for everone who wants the thump without drowning out the vocals, w/0 are your best bet.

Strength:

+value
+smoothness
+power handling
+heat management
+extremely well built JL box
+look damm cool...so I an out of things

Weakness:

-plastic surround started coming off after about 3 months

I would highly reccommend this sub to anyone out there who is into more SQ than total slam. In other words, if your into hearing your vocals, and not one of those guys who drowns out all the vocals this is your sub in this price range.
I've ran 3-10W0 (12 ohm) in a custom JL box for nearly 3 years now, and they still impress me. It doesn't hurt that I'm running them off a PPI A600.2, but they stiull sound extremely well. I used to run all 3 of these off a A300.2, and they still sounded amazingly well, but the extra power seemed to clean them up, especially in the lower frequencies.
The box was extrememly well built (very heavy) carpeting as top notch.
The only prob I had with these subs were the fact that the plastic surrounds started peeling on me about 3 months after I bought these. I never did get around to doing anyhting withthem, but I assume that little contact cement or something similar would put them back together.
Like I said, for bang for the buck, I haven't owned a sub whih ccna top the value of these. They aren't a super hard hitting sub, but SQ is amazing at this price range. Plus, after running them for a long time, they still take as much power as when a guy first started out. I've owne dsubs in the past that after running them for half an hour they will no longer take the power they could when youfirst started them up.
You should definately take these into consideration if looking into this price range

Model Reviewed: 98',two wo's

Strength:

The two wo subs that Im am still running to this day, still work the same as when I got them about a year ago.
People wonder why they sound so loud compared to other subs that I have owned. They are in a sealed box that gives me a high spl, and I am now running a punch 250 watt-rms amp.

Weakness:

do not use small amp with this kind of sub.
If you value your wo's do not give them low wattage or a generic amplifier. These are top off the line performers, no weeknesses.

I traded them for my 12w1 that I had in a band pass box about a year ago. I seen them sell in my home town for over $100 a piece.
I would recommend this type of sub to anyone, because of the loudness and the value.
I will be upgrading to two, 12" w6's soon so stay tuned for another review.

Toby

this is the first sub i bought, and a very good deal at $300 (canadian) in a bandpass box. i'm running a USAcoustics 2075 amp, bridged to 240 watts (yes, thats rms)... i've had it over 8 months now, hasn't blown yet, even though the power rating is about 150. for the price, you won't find a better sub.

Strength:

I have a 10w0 hooked up to a crossfire 202 amp which puts out 200x1, in a custom box in my extended cab truck. it sounds great. it hits deep, loud, it doesn't require alot of space, its inexpensive, and i would dare to say it would beat most 12's. its an awesome sub. i would recommend it to anyone. i would directly recommend it to whomever wants a good stereo thats inexpensive but pounds and has limited space.

Weakness:

there are no weaknesses. the only thing i'm gonna do is upgrade to a 10w3, because it hits slightly deeper and louder. but thats it.

$90 for the 10w0...can't beat that.

Used my 2 10w0 for bout 4 months and there is NOOO sub out there that can beat w0 for price/quality consider their only price for 10 are bout 80$
The bass was smooth and decent spl for the price
I had them running on bout 200-220 rms apiece running off a AE1.2 class D monoblock which btw is a great Class D amp for the money...hlabs is nice
10w0 can take bout 200-250rms anything more would be a waste cause they wont give more output

Strength:

Deep bass
very clear
low wattage

Weakness:

none yet

I bought the sub with a bandpass box, and it is the best sounding bass i have ever heard, for a 10 inch of course. I have 150rms powering the sub andit works great. I had a kenwood 12 in a sealed box but most of my songs were sounding distorted. I bought the JL because of its low wattage needed, and it was a very good purchase
