CHEAP, I GOT BOTH IN BOX FOR 225.00. GOOD SPL, MY WHOLE CAR RUMBLES AND SHAKES...YET U CAN STILL FEEL IT HITTING. NICE BOX. VERY VERY NICE BASS FOR PRICE. WORTH IT!

Weakness:

DOESNT HIT THE LOWS AND GIVES A NASTY SOUNDIN NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE ITS GONNA RIP THE SUBS...I FOUND A WAY TO ADJUST IT ON THE AMP (POWER AKOUSTIK FX 150) BUT IT TAKES AWAY A LOT FROM THE OTHER BASS.

WELL....WHEN I LEAVE MY CAR IN THE DRIVEWAY AND GO IN THE HOUSE....THE WINDOWS ARE RATTLIN AND U CAN FEEL THE BASS THRU THE WALLS AND IT FEELS LIKE A SMALL EARTHQUAKE...I SWEAR!!! VERY NICE...IF THE WINDOWS ARE UP IT DOESNT SOUND THAT LOUD, WHICH IS GOOD IF U DONT WANNA SHOW OFF. BUT IF WINDOWS ARE DOWN, PPL TURN HEADS....PPL A GOOD BLOCC CAN HEAR ME COMIN! LOUD! I THOUGHT I WOULD BLOW THEM, THATS Y I MADE SURE JL HAD A 2 YEAR WARRANTY.....BUT....RECENTLY I TURNED THE BASS GAIN TO THE MAX...IT WAS HALF WAY BEFORE....AND ADDED THE "BASS BOOST" CONTROL ON THE AMP, WHICH GIVES ME A LOT OF BASS EVEN WHEN VOLUME IS "1" SO EVERYTHIN ON AMP AND HEAD UNIT IS MAXED OUT....AND THEY HAVENT BLOWN YET....BASICALLY FOR THE $500 YOU CAN SPEND FOR AMP AND SUBS....ITS WORTH IT.....I PLAN ON GETTIN MAYBE 3 12" W6 OR 3 12" W3!!!

Model Reviewed: 99 JL w0

Strength:

They are loud subs that hit hard for their cheap price. Compared to other subs in this price category, they are the best I have heard.

Weakness:

They don't hit the lows, and they can't handle as much power as other 10's.

These subs are the best I have heard at the price they are offered. While not as good as the W6's, they still pound hard. These have surprised many people who have listened to them, including people with better series subs. I would definitely buy these again before I would buy a more expensive sub.
These subs are good for people either entering the market, or people who just want good sound at a low price. I am running the same 1200 watt Alpine amp on these that I did on my 3 W6's and they are handling it well.

Strength:

Cheap, Sounds GREAT, very dependable, just an all around great sub.

Weakness:

I would like it if the bass was a little deeper

I baught 3 10w0 in a box from a friend for $200 (very good price) and they sounds GREAT. it sounds very smooth. they aer perfect especially if you dont want to spend alot of money. but these subs will hold there own against almost any 10in woofer out there! i just can get over how great they sound. i wnat to by another sub and have 4(so if you have one at a good prrice email me). i recomend these to anyone. they are just great!
I had a 600watt alpine amp running it. now i baught a 700 watt amp ot replace it. hopefully it will give it alittle more power and sounds better. these will defently make heads turn. perfect for crusin around town, or just to impress your friends.

Cheap,sound good

Weakness:

dont go to low,

Didnt pay that much for thse, lots of people talk trash till they hear them, My neighbor and I hooked up 4 10" w0 in a box we made for my single cab truck, IT HITS, I am giving each sub about 125 watts, in seperatly sealed enclousures, and the damn things want to tear my truck apart, I put a nice crack in my windsheild from them, people will look, smirk, then all they say is DAMN

Model Reviewed: 2000 JL W0

Strength:

These subs cost me only 90 a piece, and perform much better than anything else i have put in my truck. I was going to get the w3 s, but my local sound shop advised me to buy these. Supposedly you get more recurssion and tighter bass(not as low though) than the w 3 s. Look great, and keep making people in cars at lights turn around and wonder if NJ is experiencing its first earthquake

Weakness:

Not as low as i would have like. I have them wired to a crossfi2e600a2 amp, and with 600x1, i was expecting them to hit a lil harder

Overall great subs. outperform the competition!! for 90 a piece, they play amazing. i reccomend these to anyone

Strength:

One of the best performing price point subs on the market. Dismisses the hype of other brands and simply performs well. Very flexible regarding volume and box types. Still decently musical and defined.

Weakness:

Can't defy the laws of physics and marketing. Would like another 1/3 octave and a more punch.

Yes, I'd recommend it. Price, quality and company reputation are all great.

Strength:

I've got two 10 w0's in a custom sealed truck box and I think they sound really good especially for the price. They sound really clean and at the same time they hit very hard. In my opinion they sound a lot better than RF
XLC and Audiobahn ACW-10 which is some stuff my friends have. I think JL is one of the best brands around and I plan to upgrade to 3 12 w3's.

Weakness:

Sometimes they distort whenever I turn them up too high, which is usually expected.

I paid around $85 per sub and they were every bit of that. I highly recommend these subs for someone looking for a non-competition system. They are perfect for riding around town.

Strength:

price, small enclosure

Weakness:

relatively weak compared to more expensive competitors

I paid 180 for one sub in the jl box. I probably overpaid but the sub does sound pretty good. I only have 100 watts RMS going to it and it still sounds pretty clean with little distortion. If you don't want to spend much money or take up a lot of space but still improve your system I think the w0 is a good choice.

Strength:

I love these subs!! They were easy on my wallet, but still had beat. The bass is very tight and precise. Also, the JL factory box was well made and looked good.

Weakness:

The only weakness with this sub is the fact they can't handle much power. I run a Crossfire CFA-602 and it can barely handle the power. When I turn the volume up and start beating they sometimes distort.

Overall, these subs are great for the money. They ain't no competition stuff, but they do the job of everyday cruising and knocking. I can turn heads in front of the theater when i roll by. I would suggest this sub to anyone who wants a good sub for the money, and doesn't want flea market quality.
