Deep and loud bass...great sound

When my trunk is open and im looking at the subs...they tend to rattle quite a bit, but when the trunk is closed...it sounds awesome!

Very nice sub w/ deep bass. That is exactly what I was looking for, and Rockford Punch Z's were not the answer. If you're lookin for LOUD, DEEP, PUNCHY bass, these are the ones.....!

-SQ, best in it's class imo. -Price, you can get great prices at your local car audio shop. Just bargain with them. -Can take 800watts for everyday driving, just watch the gain. Wouldn't go anything high then that, the sub was pretty much max out at 800w.

-Rap music sounds like shet in sealed box! -Rock sounds like shet in ported box!

I had 2 of these bad boys in a 1.25cf sealed box powered by a JL 500/1. They hit really nice with this amp. Clean tight bass! great for rock or mental type of music. For hip hop you gotta go ported, the subs go's much deeper and gets really loud, perfect for rap.

This is a very good sub. Hits very hard. I have a Rockford Fosgate 1100a2 running it. Sounds loud for only 1 sub.

Can handle more than the power I'm putting to them with my 500/1. Incredible SQ and they can push mass amounts of air when asked to. All-in-all great subwoofers.`

None that I can think of. Price might be cited as a weakness by some but I'm a firm believer in the "You get what you pay for school" so i will pay that extra cash for a much better product.

These subs are friggin' sweet. They produce the cleanest and loudest bass i have ever heard. Coupled with the JL 500/1(sweet as hell) I get not only extreme sound quality but headache inducing spl. Definetly worth the grand I spent on the whole system. These subs can handle so much power than what most people think. Ratings are not everything. I used to be a skeptic when people would talk about JL but now I'm a diehard JL fan because they put some mad work into all their products. I'm gonna play these things until they fall apart. I love them to death.

I HAVE HAD THEM LESS THEN A MONTH AND I PUT A 1000 WATT JL MONOBLOCK AND I AM TELLING YOU THEY SLAM WHEN THE VOLUME IS DOWN AND THEY ARE NOT DISTORTING I KNOW IT IS TO MUCH POWER BUT YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE HOW LOUD IT IS WHEN I TURN IT UP

SQ and massive bass out of one sub plus it just looks massive.

Costly, but well worth it.

This sub is off the hook. Pushed by two kicker kx.1200 it slams louder than any other system i've had including my previous 3 12w3. If you got the money and you got the power you gotta get this sub. It produces deep crisp bass with no noticeable distortion and takes up much less space because you only need one or two, which means you have more room for multiple amps, caps, batteries, whatever you want!!

I love this sub, it has very good SQ and good SPL to, im hitting probably around 150 or like 152 dB's which isnt bad for one sub, i have it hooked up to a MTX 8100d. Im going to get rid of the 8100d and get a 500/1. I was wondering if anyone has an idea how loud 2 of the 13.5's and 2 of the 500/1's would be. e-mail me if you have an idea, thanks alot Matt

I bought 2 JL w3 10s about 2 weeks ago. They are hooked up to a bridged US150 that I think is making around 800 watts. They sound awesome. I couldn't be more pleased with the sound quality. I replaced two old solo-baric 12s with these JL 10s and the difference is amazing. My only problem now is they are hitting so hard they're making my POS clarion cd player skip whenever I really pound on them.

A bit pricey (unless you buy them online) but you get what you pay for!

I have a JL audio ProWedge subwoofer enclosure which houses two 12W3v2's. It's powered by a JL Audio 500/1 Mono amplifier. This is some serious stuff! The sound quality is incredible and accurate at any volume level. And if you want to talk SPL: When I first gave it some volume to test it's "bang", it actually made my windshield wipers jump off the windshield when the bass hit-no exaggeration! Make no mistake about it, these subs are high end. The beginner may shy away becuase of they're price but the serious car audio enthusiast will love this product (you can probably get it cheaper online but I prefer authorized dealers). The amplifier is one of the best on the market, giving you a true 500 watts from 11.5-14.4V and a ton of equalization features. If you're serious about your system, stop playin' around with the other stuff and go with JL Audio.

I have had this sub banging hard since august of 2002. First I had two JL 10w3v2's hooked up to a piddily concempt 350watt amplifier(not even bridged out), and a factory head unit. I was amazed at how hard they hit. About 6 months later I got an Xtant 600watt amp that pushes about 750 watts to my knowledge, and it just blew my mind. Then I got a Pioneer Premier DEH-840(the one with two faces, one drops down at an angle and you look a t both). All in all, these are great subs with great power handling and a crisp, clear sound. I just recently(yesterday) had one of them blow, and I think it was because I have too much power running to them I'm not sure yet. GREAT SPEAKER!
