Easy to blown.Don''t over power them.

I had one of these and had it sitting in a 1.5 cu feet seal box.Ran it at 4ohm.Set the amp on full and u''ll hear it bang. This is the one sub that you can get alot of bass for your money, cheap on ebay.I dont have these anymore since i have those kicker comp vr.

Strength:

very durable and also great looking sub can really go low and hard

Weakness:

nothing major but rubber surround would have been better

In simple words its they''re great subs for the price I have two 12''s in a custom bandpass box and they pound hard and clean with the right ampmine are powered by the kac728s which gets the job done but not a great crossover i gonna try switching to mono and hopefully get even more pounding bass. These bad boys make my 98 civic shake it''s ass and gives my ass a good massage while making everything else viabrating inside the car .

Weakness:

the foam surroun shound have been rubber

I''ve had these two 12s running on my kenwood 728s amp(to power my bass only) and they pound to my pleasure i have a pyle crossover with remote bass boost and when i turn up the bass these bad boys shake up my 98 civic''s inside the panels viabrate, the rearview shakes, and my ass gets a good massage they are better than some more expensive subs and from a name you trust.

Strength:

deep, hard bass

Weakness:

foam surrounds :(

Nice low bass in a moderatly sized box. I give mine 1.5 cubic feet minus magnet and basket displacement, so probably around 1.3 cubes and they hit deep with gusto. good sub for the price (the guy that talked about MTX 8000 don''t know jacksh1t, thats a whole different price/power range)

Strength:

Great value and unique appearance.

Weakness:

not as loud as many others

These subs sound very good when you're inside the vehicle but do not pound quite enough if you are outside. This is probably because I'm only running about 100watts RMS to each, however. They look great and were a great value. I hope to get another amp soon and expect that they will really pound. I have not noticed any rattling noise yet.

Strength:

Crisp bass, Tight bass

Weakness:

Doesn't carry out the bass, doesn't go low at all!

I have four of these and they were ok, sorry I lied, "They suck"! I put two mtx 8000 12"s in the similar box and they were at least 10 times louder and lower than these pieces of garbage!

I have two of these subs in a pro bend competition bandpass box and theyre the bomb.

I compared it to two 15" Cerwin Vegas and mine were either equal or better to those two.

Strength:

Even in a badly designed box with less than the rated RMS, these still own a lot of others. They DO hit low, the bass is tight, and I haven't had the cone buzz once yet, despite having them cranked constantly with many different types of songs.

Weakness:

Not a thing..

I'm using a homemade, sealed box I bought of a guy for $20 and running three subs on a 300 watt Pioneer reciever and these make a lot of subs look weak. I can't complain, after putting them through hell, they're still holding up excellently and sound great.
