Strength:

Unbelievably good working sub. I built the box to exact factory specs. These two subs pound like hell, even though I'm only running 160 Watts RMS through them, one of my KAC-716's blew up!

Weakness:

None found yet, will advise...

I don't know what that one guy in talking about, his box must be crap! I built a perfect box, tuned the ports, and make my buddy's Orion look like some Shaker, or Pyramid crap!

Strength:

These subs have one hell of a punch, even in the 4 cubic foot box that i put them in as a joke. Was i ever wrong, they pound like hell.

Weakness:

hmmm can't really say .. i'm really happy with them so none that i found

these subs in general are the best i found, even tho the pioneers are cheaper and can run in smaller enclosers, the Kenwood KFC-W3003 subs i bought and put in the box that i had made worked out awsome...
4 cubic feet is alot of space.... but low hz come out really nice and solid.

BTW i drive a 1984 Honda Accord SE hatchback.

PS. If using 4 Cubic feet use 1" MDF board.

Strength:

the look of this is reaaly sweet but i don't know what the hell these 3 guys above me are talking about???????
they make it sound like this sub is incredible, it's really not as great and these guys say!!!

Weakness:

the cone buzzes, i can't really diss this sub too much because it is decent but i have an alpine type r 12" and it's like twice as good as the kenwood and plus this is my second kfc-3003(i blew the first one after like 3 months and then kenwood replaced it for me)

well the kfc-3003 just doesn't live up to my expectations, but it's definately a good starter sub for the little rookies.

Similar Products Used:

well i've only compared the kfc-3003 to the alpine type r and alpine has definately put their name on the subwoofer competition list with this sub, it's definately the best sub i've heard so far

Strength:

Great bass for a great price. For the price these subs just can't be beat. Especially if they're in a sealed box.

Weakness:

None that I've found so far

I put 2 of these subs in a custom made box that gives them the exact amount of airspace according to factory specs. They really pound so far. No cone buzzing, no distortion at all, very accurate bass. The only problem with these is that the bass doesn't carry very far. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I have only had these in for a couple of hours and already I've rattled my rear-view mirror off twice.

Hard Low Base

Weakness:

Crazy cone buzzing noise.

I have two and they hit 145.4 for me, they also got me a third place trophy. Right now I have an MTX 250D running like 250 watts to it. Sure at first it sounded all right, but then sometimes I would get the cone buzzing noise. So now I'm trying to get rid of them and replacing them with audiobahns. Sure there great but after awhile, other stuff that I hear sounds a lot better.

One, 12 audiomobile MASS can produce the same amount of bass as my two 12's, but the mass is an 750 watt sub.
