Strength:

The hood has countless fine scratches running horizontally across the hood, and it almost seems to me as if someone who previously owned the car slid across the hood like Bo Duke. mobile diesel mechanic

Weakness:

Strength:

Low bass notes Small box requirments

Weakness:

Need power.

Very good sub. Requires very little space in a sealed box. Ive heard them in both box types and the ported box will blow the sealed box away. If you do not have alot of space these subs are for you. Will take alot of power and will really move.

I just got 2 L7 ten inch subs put in the back of my 2004 RSX type S. IT hits HARD!. I have an MTX 1501D pushing 1500 watts. Right now i dont have the bass remote for the amp, so my amp is only half way up and is still louder than anything ive heard before. These subs ROCK.

Strength:

Everything!! Performance, durabililty, reputation and most of all SOUND QUALITY.

Weakness:

NONE

For a 10" this thing hits like Mike Tyson on PCP! I am running 500W (Rockford Fosgate 501BD mono amp) to it and when playing track 4 of The Crystal Method's "Vegas" cd it actually blurrs my vision. It is in a custom box in the trunk of my 2000 Mustang. Everybody thinks I got 2 12"s back there and wonder how I fit two 12"s in a Mustang trunk. I just let em beleive what they want until I open the trunk. Then they are like DAMN!!! That sound is coming from a 10"???? I would highly recommend this sub to anyone but especially if you have limited space or a small trunk opening (like mine is).

Strength:

sounds good! for songs that has alot of bass. when it came to techno and stuff that didn't have that much bass u had to turn up the bass! but over all i'm really impress with this one ten!

Weakness:

i only notice one thing, it makes a poping like noise at loud volumes! it's kinda hard to show off your stuff when they ask to see it. so you have to turn it down so it won't make that poping noise to show your buddy's. if anybody knows what it is holla at me...

I just bought this sub. after reading all the reviews... not a bad sub! it came with the kicker box.(i think it's 1cu.) the only problem i encounter is that it's making a noise when the volume is up.(almost like a poping sound) i have the mtx 8100d amp pushing the @hit out of this one 10! I don't know if that's the peak power before it's popping or what? but once the truck is close you can't hear it. i was playing ashatti- baby song! and boy was that loud!!! one 10" sounded like 12's! i really mean it! i was so so surprise!

everything

I have this sub in a large vented box behind the seat of my standard cab truck and it sounds great. People allways think that I have two 12's. I was able to hit 142.3 db with the one 10. It is only getting 300 rms but I know that these things can take a lot of power and abuse.

Strength:

Monster power handling, works in incredibly small enclosures, and it's tight too. You only have to give it enough power and a good enclosure.

Weakness:

My neighbors launch me some one-of-these-days-I'm-gonna-cut-you-in-little-pieces hateful looks when they meet me in the morning, because during the night I've rattled their windows. What the h@// do they want from me? Do I have to go into the desert for setting-up my system?

Holy S@%t!!! That thing slamz!!! I have two of them in a very small sealed enclosure (about 1,7 c.ft.) and damn they pound so hard! I read a review from a guy saying this sub sucks for SPL. Another guy says this sucks for SQ. Man are you kidding or what? Maybe you have it hooked up to some s@///y amp? Remember, don't try to giv'em less than 600 watts, or they'll sound like ass. I push my L7s with a Precision Power PCX 1500 (supergreat amp!!! MONSTER POWER AND ACCURACY TOO!!! RuckFuskate sucks) and believe me when I say I'm worried my car is going to explode!!! Believe me No sub can compare with that beast, except for some monsterous Digital Design or Resonant Engineering (a friend of mine has one DD 12" 9500d series and damn!!! he's becoming deaf for too much bass application - the windshield of his car has been thrown away!!!).
