These subs are REALLY loud and play low notes alright (Around 40 htz its the loudest.) They look cool and can be heard from a mile away.

Price. Sure, these subs are loud but sound quality SUCKS!!! Even with the rms power you cant distinguish the kick drum from the bass guitar.There is too much moving mass envolved and these subs get very "muddy". Plus, when they try to play the kick drum they sound like someone is punching a cardboard box.I dont recommend these subs to anyone who strives for sound quality. Loudness from one to ten...i give them a 7. For SQ i give em' a 2!!!! They cost too much to suck so bad.

I have had two of these 15s in my 66' Belvedere for four months in a custom ported box powered with an MA Audio 4000 watt monster. At 4 ohms I had about 700 watts to each sub and it was loud enough to wake the neighbors.

All i can say these subs are bad and loud but the fosgate power hx2s are better. had two of the L7s but two power hx2s are louder and cleaner. Even had the jl w7s but fosgate is still better. kicker is better than the w7s to.

Unbelievable is all I can say. These things pound and pound away.Its like somebody is hitting you in the back of the head with a sledge hammer.Im running two 15L7s on an Alphasonik 1200d bridged at 2400 watts in an expedition!! Need I say more.Once a month I have to tighten everything because the bass is just insane.

It hits lower a harder than any sub I've ever heard, And I've heard a lot of subs. This thing can definatly make you go deaf

You need hella power to it, but hell thats what beat is all about. Putting as much power to each sub that we can.

This is the best damn sub ever made. This sub pounds hella hard. I've pissed off a lot of people with this thing. This sub even got my neighbors to call in complaints I must have been called in like 10 times. My roommate told me that she can't even think when I'm a block away. She said when I am 2 blocks away that I need to turn it down so we don't get in any more trouble and that way she can think as well.Everything in my car is loose because it pounds so bad.

I only have 1 of these subs and more than one person has asked me how many subs im runnin to get all that bass. Its a great feeling to just smile and say 1. This is a monster of a sub. Given the right power and airspace this sub will kick your a$$. It deep and clean in my sealed custom box and runs nicely with the excelon401m amp. The reviews that follow mine is what sold me on this sub so i felt the need to leave my own review.

everything from sq to spl power handleing is tremendous ahnialates anything else on the market even the w7 (a 13" give me a break what were they thinking how can that compete with this the smallest measurement is accross which is 15" diagonal is 18" and the w7 is 2x expensive!!!)

In a word wow! I used to have 2 s15d with a zr1000 amp and it pounded so good it was stolen even with a killer alarm. I have one s15l7 hooked up to a 750 watt pioneer amp and it is madness not nearly as loud as my old one but it beats my buddys 2 s12d's with a impulse 900! I cannot wait until i get my other 3 hooked up with an amp worthy of moving them it will be sickening. The square with the pioneer does beat one of the circle ones with the zr1000 hands down. So i cannot imagine what 4 will do with a kx1200.1 to each it will probably destroy my car. people complain about the price, but shopping around I paid less than $1000 for 4 with a warranty so look!

This Kicker hits harder then I ever imagined. It says it goes down to 18 hz, but I know that this will have a huge excursion and I cannot hear it, only feel it. This is the best subwoofer that is out! Nobody will be mad to get their hands on one of these. I would say that that this is better then a W7 in a lot of ways, but the W7 does have some ups on it. 2000 Watt max, 1000 watt RMS. This is not kidding, this is for real watts, not one of those week $75 subs that say they are 2000 Watt. I have a sealed box for a 15" kicker that I made myself, painted black (make offers). I only use the best in my car!

not deep at all. sucks if u have a suv because u have to hear it hum. and other people wont hear it because of all the air pressure, perfect for a little car.

the only thing that i can think of, is the fact that it takes a while to break in...it is well worth it though

I just got one 15" L7 about three weeks ago... it isnt broken in yet, but that thing hits hard as h*ll. i am running it off of a Clarion 1000.2 class T amp... i recomend this sub to anyone.... people who bash this are people who cant afford to buy it and run it with a decent amp (subsonic filter required)
