Very, very loud and very deep bass. They can take all the power you can throw at them.

The only weaknesses are those that happen to the listener. Lately I have experienced bad head aches and mild back pains. Just make sure your not in the car when you turn the volume up real loud.

I just got one 15 L7 and ow my god. I put it in a 6 cu. ft. ported box and it is louder than anything I have ever imagined. I used to have 4 12" MTX 8000''''s and my one 15 L7 pounds a lot harder than all four 12''''s combined. If I didn''''t have three layers of dynamat on my trunk lid then I think it would break off at the hinges. Friends tell me they can hear me from blocks away. When they question how many subs I have for all that bass they are awestruck when I tell them it is just one 15. This sub shakes you so much that your liable to drive off the road. This is truly an excellent sub!

I have no trunk space (or spare tire :) in my maxima due to the large box, but these things HIT!

These things are ridiculous. I have 2 15s in a 3.4 sealed box running at 2 ohms from my 1000w fosgate amp. So loud and deep they shake the sh!t out of anything on the block. I turn up the volume and they keep on pushing. Simply amazing, better than anything Ive ever owned.

This is the best subwoofer i have ever had. I was planning on getting 2 fosgate 15" dvc''s otherwise, but im kind of glad i diddnt. Just one sub is seriously shaking my eclipse apart. My back windshield is ACTUALLY shaking loose! GO OUT AND BUY THIS SUB NOW!!!!!!!!!!

bottoms out, could be louder for price and cone area , yeah it soudns like, but that is cause a big ported box, i have thrown a pyramid in a big ported box and it rocks, big ported boxes work well with just about anything

well it sounded pretty decent. but bottoms out too easily, with only 500watts on it it bottoms, other than that decent, i see the 2002 has a bumped pole piece so hopefully that takes care of that

Extremely loud and clean sounding bass. A must have for bass lovers everywhere. Handles a lot of power, I''m running off of a JBL Power 1200.1 amp in a 6.0 cu.ft ported box. You want sound pressure, you''ve got it.

Kind of has a limited frequency range, hits VERY low frequencies most other woofers can''t even handle. This really isn''t a weakness I guess, as long as you have good mids.

When I first decided I wanted an L7, I wanted a 12. But Then I realized I had enough for a 15, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. WOW. This speaker is louder than 4 or 5 jl 12''s, easily. I had no idea how obscenely loud this was going to be. It hits so damn hard and lowwwww,its amazing. I recommend the L7 to anyone looking to make their hair stand up.

TAKES UP ALOT OF ROOM I HAVE MY BACK SEATS REMOVED. NOT SURE YET WHAT IM HITTING BUT HOLY SH#!*T IS IT LOUD. IF ANY ONE HAS HAD SPL READ I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN KNOWING YOUR SPL LEVEL.

Basically, this is one of the best subwoofers on the market. Make sure to get a good big, ported box for it. I HIGHLY recommend builing your own box, because Kick lists every aspect of the boxes on their site, but definately go as big as possible, and definately ported.

Currently I have one S15L7 in a 5 cu ft. Vented box with a 600 watt Alpine mrv T757 amp powering it. With this setup the solo baric gets very loud, deep and at the same time has musical sound quality. Yes, I know the s15l7 needs 1000 watts rms thats why I''m in the process of getting a rockford fosgate bd 1000.1 amp to power the sub at 2 ohms. I love the whole square concept and feel Kicker once again has come up with a great new speaker design. My friend has (4) 2001 Comp Vr 10" subwoofers in a long truck box in a Ford Pickup with a 1000 watt amp and he feels my single 15 hits and sounds just as good as his subs. Not bad and I''m only giving my subwoofer 600 watts. Anyway what are you doing reading my summary go out and buy a solobaric or two.
