Strength:

very deep and in Vtec, very loud!

Weakness:

none

This cat-back exhaust system is the best! I love the deep sound in low RPM's and the scream/growl I get out of it when going into Vtec. Turns many heads and looks great! I have Injen Cold Air Intake with it and those two together combine to make an awesome sound! Wouldn't have it any other way! Didn't want to mess with installation, had a local shop do it, took less than 20 minutes and only costed $60.00. Didn't mind paying all the cash for the best! When people see my car they know I take care of it and only give it the best!

Strength:

Has a great STRONG deep sound. Not like those damn bee cans!!! This does get louder over time though, so dont think as soon as you bolt it on that it will still be the same sound level in a few months. Great quality, Nice angle look.... Not too crazy, but just right.

Weakness:

None so far- Maybe when your going about 80-90 on the freeway and you can hear the loud hum. But not too bad!!!

This exhaust is hella tight!! Just make sure you get the CAT-BACK.... I did..... Only one thing if you hear this on a stock hatchback or something with no high end power....(Like Vtec :) And you think it sounds like crap then it might on that car. It really matters your set-up. Good quality and Good looks.... A Great exhaust overall. "Some" power gain.

Strength:

Low tone. Subtle, non-ricey look. Worked well with the stock hangers. The 5zigen logo on the tip makes for a quality finishing touch. Nice attention to detail.

Weakness:

Check engine light MAY come on. Just give it a few days to reset or disconnect the battery to reset ECU. The light should go off.

Had the car on a lift. Removal of the stock exhaust from the cat was a pain. Other than that, the installation was a breeze. Exhaust gaskets were of high quality - no exhaust leaks. Took longer than expected because of the topmost bolt on the cat was seized and it had to be cut and replaced. Once lowered and ready to go, it was surprisingly not ricey at all. It has a very low tone. At idle it is a bit louder than stock, but nothing annoying. It really opens up at WOT and tapers off at cruising speeds. It's not annoyingly loud at interstate speeds either.

Strength:

- great looks - great sound - horse power gain - no welding require - attract attention - doesn't feel cheap with this muffler on

Weakness:

none!

Got this muffler for my Integra GS automatic, great sound, not too loud, not too quiet, the sound is way better than i expected, at first i was affraid it is going to be too loud since it doesn't come with the silencer. The looks of it is awsome compare the other mufflers with straight piping. I had two muffler before, first one is apexi, it was too loud so i removed it after purchase few days, the next one was ractive, the look was ugly, and sound is not smooth with silencer on and too stupid loud when the silencer is off. Even though 5zigen muffler is expensive, but it is for sure worth that much.

Strength:

I love the sound, Nice and Deep! not like those ricey ones. Its small so it wont attract the cops as much. I love the GROWL at the first start on a nice cold morning =)

Weakness:

the back part of the exhaust is lower than the front, causing it to scratch a bit if you have a lower car, other than that NO WEAKNESESS.....

I purchased the Cat-back exhaust, at first I was really amazed of the difference over the stock. With time, the sound got little deeper. Growls like a mean machine when in VTEC and pressing the gas. Small but a nice deep sound. I tend to call it a "sleeper exhaust"!

Model Reviewed: 94 Del Sol

Strength:

Very Deep Tone, sounds like a V-8 Del Sol if possible, when you let off the gas it give some agressive popping sounds, no loss in torque. Tilted outward, and slanted up Japanese racing style. Looks good, but not huge!

Weakness:

It takes about 10 minutes of driving before the exhaust reaches its full tone. After 10 minute of driving the muffler is extremely hot. Make sure your tip isn't touching the bumper because it will melt a hole in it.

Purchased this exhaust because of its good reviews on this website. It was specificly for a 92-95 Civic HB but fits the del sol almost perfectly. I had it installed at a muffler shop, they had to do a little heating and bending to the hangers for it to fit correctly, only took 15 minutes installation! Don't get 5zigen fireball style mufflers, get the real 5zigen.

Strength:

deep tone reasonable price (if you just get the rear section and buy the mid piece yourself for about 100 dollars) Great looks

Weakness:

none

This is a great great exhaust. I got a different 2.5 mid pipe, and the 5zigen rear section($260), but it still sound very mean. My friend have to whole cat back, and I think my sound a little more deep, maybe because of the mid piece I got. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Strength:

Aftermarket exhaust that doesnt attract the cops, quick installation, great midrange power, unique design, quality and smooth sound

Weakness:

Loosening the oem bolts from the stock pipes. Don't recommend having a slammed ride with this system.

The Fireball gets good feedback on the streets by its looks. There are other straight type canister euxhaust systems, but none are more original as the Fireball with its unique tip, polished canister and angled position. The sound is great with its low controlable tone. From the driver seat the exhaust didnt seem so loud so I had someone do a pass with my car, it didnt scream like formula 1 but i noticed that it can create some attention when on the gas. The performance of the exhaust is great in the midrange on up. On the open road the exhaust really helps the engine open up and begs me to mash on the gas pedal. Installation is very simple and should take no longer than 45 minutes. Just a straight swap with the original exhaust. The quality of the manufacturing is great. The welds and mandrel bends are clean and the finish is almost flawless. Overall I am very pleased with 5Zigen's Fireball cat-back, it looks great, sings at the right tune and performs.
