Strength:

Different sound awesome look

Weakness:

Sound stock when in Vtec. and if your like me always in vtec, it may be disappointing.

Just put the axle back on today. It is not very loud at all. Nice deep growl at low rpms. But when in the Vtec it sounds like stock. I hear the motor over the exhaust. Very cool look. Very nice for highway driving, and if that bothers you, you can get a silencer for it. If you keep a constant speed it will sound like stock but declerating or accelerating it has that nice growl. My car is stock otherwise, no intake yet. Not ricey at all. I am still undecided on how much i like it.

Strength:

Not too loud, not too quiet. Looks great/unique. Fairly easy to install . . . bolt it together and put it all on in one piece and you're done.

Weakness:

The hangers were a pain. Actually, the two near the resonator were fine, as were the ones at the muffler, but the one that's near the rear wheel is kind of hard to get at. I ended up using a hanger that was longer than the stock one, which let the pipe hang too low so I got some vibration b/c of the hanger from the pipe against the heat shield, but I'm going to put the stock hanger back on and it should be fine. Just make sure you have some grease when you want to take those hangers off.

First of all, the fireball is a great looking system. The muffler is flashy, but not huge and gaudy like some, and is unique in that the tip is tilted. The 5Zigen logo is engraved on the tip, so people know you didn't cheap out on an imitation fireball. The sound is excellent. Very low, very throaty, not ricey at all. It's almost as quiet as stock at idle, and it actually sounds quieter in the higher RPM range, but between 1-4500 it sounds low and powerful. The car also feels a bit more lively, but I also put an Iceman cold air intake on at the same time, which helps a bit. This exhaust is definitely recommended. I'd give it a 5, valuewise, but 500 bones is quite a bit. But it definitely is worth the money.

Strength:

-Awesome sound: deep, throaty, not too loud. -Comes out at a sideways angle with a slight upward slant for that Japanese racing circut look. -Lots of compliments. -Great fit and finish.

Weakness:

-Its going to cost you some cheese but its well worth it. Other exhuast in its price range and below can't compare.

After reading these reviews, I decided that the 5Zigen Fireball exhaust was the one for me. It was difficult to locate one but I finally got it through a local tuner shop called CRD. I got a pretty good price...$530 after tax and shipping. Install was simple and straight forward. When I first turned the car on, it let out the most awesome throaty growl, then quited down to a barely audible rumble. When manuvering around a parking lot in very low rpms, this exhaust makes a very deep rumble when you manupulate the gas and clutch. When you start going and rev all the way out to redline, you will not hear a single bit of rasp. Its completely rasp-free! Deep, throaty, and aggressive are all great words to describe this exhaust. Its not overly loud, rather quite actually, but still loud enough for my purposes. Everyone has complimented me on how great my car sounds. Actually, in high rpms, my intake is louder than my exhuast...and everyone loves that screaming intake sound, right?! If you like that buzzy, raspy, loud, ear blistering exhuast note, this is not for you. However, if you want a truely great sounding exhaust that is deep but not too loud, one that can be drivin' on the interstate for long periods of time without giving you a headache, and one that will get lots of suprised compliments, then get the 5zigen fireball!

I had a custom exhuast system on an accord with no type of resonator so it was loud as crap and very raspy. I hated it! Stock exhaust is just boring. 5Zigen rules!

Strength:

agressive looking, great exhaust note at low rpm and screams nicely at high rmp. a nice straight through design, i noticed a slight bit more flow between 3500rpm and 6000rpms over the border slash, maybe a lil extra push..and it can be heard from quite a distance at low rpm w/ a nice lil rumble but its not annoying, and at high rpm it will be heard everywhere telling potential preadators to go find a race elsewhere.

Weakness:

None!

I recently bought a 95 gsr, the guy had a cat back 5zigen exhaust system, and i threw on an aem cold air intake (soon to get some aftermarket headers on it, maybe mugen or 5zigens 4-2-1) but problem was it had the border slash tail, i wasn''t feelin'' the look of the border slash muffler, and it wasn''t as deep an throaty as i wanted it... so i cut if off and bought the 5zigen fireball muffler, and had it welded on. this muffler is sicc, it has a great low throaty deep sound at low rpm, and screams at vtec levels, and it dosen''t have any annoying bee sound, it also looks great comin out the back, very agressive lookin. well worth the money. 5zigen makes nothing but quality.

Strength:

-badass looking tilt to it -5zigen ingraved on the muffler tip -good quality

Weakness:

The major problem i had with the exhuast was the resonator. If you have the full cat-back system it comes with a resonator that hangs damn low to the ground. My car is slammed, simple as that. The resonator would get caught on to speedbumps and every bump in the road it would scrape. It finally let out one day and cracked the piping. I took it to the local muffler shop and had them cut it off and just add piping to it. That solved the problem scraping etc., however, my exhuast is a bit loud and sounds more "ricey."

I bought this exhuast becuase it had a unique look to it with the muffler tilting. It''s a great exhuast, and you get your money''s worth. The sound is good, not too loud, a bit quiet really. I can''t feel any power gains, but my car is stock besides the exhuast and intake.

Good looks and a very high quality exhaust for your money.

Weakness:

The angle gives it a really cool Japanese look, but on lowered cars (especailly slammed ones) the muffler can get a nice size ding, so be careful.

I absolutely love this exhaust system. It sounds very deep and doens''t sound like ordinary can of bees that u hear most of the time. I had this thing since October of last year and there''s nothing wrong with it, in fact when u burn up some of the packing it gets even better.

Very easy Installation, if all goes well with the stock bolts!!

Weakness:

None

I too was alittle worried when I opened the box, it was so little, and compared to the box it came in, this made me skeptical. After finishing installation, which took 2 hours, because I broke one of the stock bolts, I started the car, at idle it rumbles like a V-8, then when I took off it got quiter, this exhaust is great, not too loud bot you can still get noticed. Go with the Fireball, it''s great!

Had the exhaust installed at Shine Street after it arrived. This is a great exhaust! It looks awesome and gives the car an aggressive look from behind. its got a deep throaty sound. At idle it rumbles, step on it and it actually quiets down alittle. Its not annoying or droning at all. And best of all, the exhaust gave me a full pound of boost!
