Apex N1 Series Cat back Exhaust Systems

Apex N1 Series Cat back Exhaust Systems

DESCRIPTION

The N-1 exhaust pipes aim for the straightest possible line with the least number of pipe bends. This allows exhaust gases to pass smoothly through the piping. The exhaust system canister is made of a rugged SUS 304 Stainless steel and features a 115 mm tail. The canister projects from the car at an angle which also contributes to smooth flowing exhaust. Because all of the exhausts are straight through design, throttle response and horsepower levels are improved. The N-1 Series Exhaust is available for the Neon, Civic, Prelude, Integra, RX-7, Eclipse, 240 SX, Impreza, Supra, MR-2 and Golf GTi.

Strength:

sound, appearance, quality, improved fuel economy.

Weakness:

hangs fairly low and scrapes when not entering very steep driveways on an angle, or going too fast over bid speed humps.

My initial impresiion with this exhaust was that the exhaust tip was pretty big, not a bad thing but I was hoping for something a bit more subtle as to not attract attention. Qualit is also excellent. Though only the muffler is stainless steel, the piping has a rust protective coating. Installation was straightforward but hard (getting old bolts off), but with a friend and 3 hours we got it done. The sound is great. Very aggresive. At lower rpms to 4000 it has a very deep and throaty sound. When vtec kicks in at 4200rpm (vafc adjusted) the exhaust screams! There is no sound like it. It also comes with a silencer which reduces noise by a significant amount if you want to be kind to your neighbors, or on long trips. I'd reccomend this to anyone looking for a loud free flowing exhaust. PS - I also noticed an average gain of 50 miles out of a full tank of gas, who knew?

Love this CatBack System. i would recommend this system to anyone who is interested an is looking at the N1 CatBack. I was looking around for a catback that would fit my 2002 model. When i found the Apexi N1 series, i loved the aggresive looks and the sound that sets off car alarms.(wat a fun thing to do, when driving through a parking garage):-D

WAT THA JEEP guy had under tha HOOD! :-D

All I can say about this exhaust is WOW! I've had this exhaust in for 2 days. I can't believe the difference. The sound, the performance, the looks. Thay all rank up into the top 10z. As soon as i started it up at tha shop were i got it from, the car jus screamed an then went down to a lite but noticable rumble. The day that I got the N1 in, i had the oppertunity to test out my new system. As soon as i got on to the street i find myself next to a V8 jeep cherekee with a crazy looking guy whoz blowing be kisses... hehe, datz when it it me, Why don't i test my new cat back out. As soon as the light turned green, all i can hear is my N1 screaming an people on the sidwalk turn. I looked in my rear view an saw the guy tryin his hardest to get anywere near ma rear bumper, datz when i felt like i should make this guy feel real bad of his self. I punched it liek it was notting else an felt the VTec kick in at around 3500 RPM.. After that, u can guess tha rest...

Looks, Sound, Design, Coating, and Angled tip...

Weakness:

I can't think of any real flaws other than the muffler scraping on the ground a little bit at first before you learn your lesson...

DDDAAMMNNNN! This exhaust kicks arse! First of all, its design is awesome, and it has that coating that seems simillar to Galvanizing Rust-O-Leum paint. It hangs a little low in the rear and stuff, but just don't try driving over sharp bumps. I paired this up with a AEM CA Intake, DC SS 4-2-1 headers, a high-flow cat, and I'm putting on a B&M FPR shortly. The Increase in HP with this setup is amazing! My car can pull really hard compared to stock, especially above approx. 3500-4000 RPM. (high-end) And since my exhaust has nothing to hold it back, its FREAKIN' LOUD! Crusing down the road doing about 90-95 or so in Overdrive, IT SCREAMS ALMOST LIKE YOUR IN A NASCAR RACE. That is, without the silencer. I think the silencer is good for daily driving, but it really doesn't do much... except make your car sound a little high-pitched rather than its normal deep tone... I had to modify the pipes and fabricate a hanger for it to fit my car, but for me, it was worth the long nights of cutting and welding efforts. The model I bought was desgined for a 94-99 Integra GS-R.

The best exhaust system you can buy on the market!!!! When VTEC kicks in it actually pops, like a after fire. It looks good, sounds deep, and APEXi's workmanship is great. I like how the exuast is tilt and up to the right of the rear bumper. It also came with the stock silencer.
