Strength:

Nice and quiet IF that's what you are looking for.. feels heavy and quality like.. but that's not including the corroding outside!!

Weakness:

Weak.. weak.. WEAK!! sound.. sh*t.. should have kept it stock.. way too much for an exhaust that sounds stock.. lose low end torque.. you really do.. I dynoed.. and it took a nib at my beginning torque... also a freakin heavy ass exhaust..(is it made of iron??)

This exhaust is VERY quiet.. gives a nice grumble to VTEC but then evens out real solemn like.. I can definitely hear my CAI when the RPMs climb but don't hear the exhaust much. If you want to be noticed.. DON'T get this exhaust.. it looks too stock, not loud, and looks retro w/o the cylinder shape. I have it for sale now and no one wants to buy it.. Also, the stinkin thing rusts fast!! Greddys just don't last long.. So bottom line.. you want grunt.. low end torque.. growl.. and an exhaust that makes you rev like crazy.. get another.. I did and I am much happier.. but if you want quiet and almost factory look/sound get it.. you will love it..

Strength:

- HP increase - highly polised stainless steel muffler - low pitched sound - non annoying - appearance - crafted with quality

Weakness:

- too quiet at times - resonator hangs a bit too low

Well after installing this exhaust on my car I can say that I'm not disappointed with it. Yes, I would like my car to be as loud as possible (and Greddy is not as loud as other exhausts or universal mufflers) but those other exhaust will always be loud when you dont want it to be loud and maybe you may get annoyed by it sometimes, thats why I chose Greddy. Greddy has that as I would call it "high quality sound" to it, whereas some cheap old exhaust systems and universal mufflers would sound loud but has that very annoying high pitched sound to it. Greddy always has a low pitched sound when your cruising at low RPM but the sound will get softer (not high pitched) as you rev it up high. I think the sound is perfect because when your cruising at low RPM you will notice that it's not a stock exhaust, you will hear that low pitched sound. Going up hill in 4th gear at about 30 mph I could hear that low pitched sound loudly. This is what race cars may sound like with Greddy. The appearence of the muffler, well it's very shiny and has a 4 inch tip. For my kind of car you can see the whole muffler not just the tip because the 4th generation civics have the muffler perpendicular to the car and the tip has to be bent out. If Honda made factory performance exhaust systems it would look something like this Greddy exhaust. All I can say is that it's a highly polished stainless steel muffler with a big tip and looks way better than my stock muffler. As for the performance of the exhaust, I've noticed an increase in HP but torqe seems the same. Without proper dyno tuning you would never be able to tell how much HP and torque increases. For a stock motor not much HP increase is expected. Overall, it's well worth the money as this exahust is made of OEM design without the OEM looks. Too much of the universal mufflers out there, this is different and looks very nice. I would definately recommend this product to anyone looking for a race type, perfect fit, highly polised exhaust system.

Strength:

Excellent power instant gains at the wheels you can feel a diffrence.

Weakness:

No weakness

I Have a Greddy SP Exhaust and it's LOUD what i did was throw away the cat back pipes and got a 3 inch custom piping option at a local Muffler store no resonator. what you need to make it sound loud is to take out the resonator, high flow cat, and any type of header. I rate this Exhaust a 10

Sound... Can control the noise level so your neighbors will not complain. Tip is not tooooo big. Adds extra HP when in the VTEC range.

Weakness:

None really...

Overall great exhaust for a catback. Not obnoxously loud, but you know that the car has a modified exhaust system. Best when in the VTEC range like a few of the posts have already noted. Virtually the same exhaust noise as the stock when at crusing speed. Has a deep throttling sound when over 5k rpms. Nice deep rumble when downshifting...

Strength:

-Smooth acceleration, lots of fun after vtec kicks in -Really good build quality

Weakness:

-Arggghhhhhhhhh.......where's my torque. -ADU..awful darned ugly compared to other exhausts I've seen

The product delivers exactly what it says it does, it maximizes power across the whole rev range. This is a little unfortunate however because I found that while being true, it meant that I lost a noticeable amount of power at low rpms. This is extremely hazardous to your health when dealing with honda's which don't give you much at low rpms to begin with. Basically this exhaust is only worth the money when you hit the vtec switch. Then you'll feel like there actually an engine under your hood. Additionally, the car purrs like at cat and the acceleration is very smooth. Very low/non ricey exhaust note but not what to get if your looking to make noise with your whip. I gave it an overall 3 because I didn't like loosing some of the precious little torque that I had.

Strength:

Nice and shiny muffler, nice big tip, looks great, nice low deep bassy sound. Perfect stock-like fit.

Weakness:

Not as loud as you might think, expensive at around 500 dollars.

I have the Greddy SP full cat-back exhaust system installed on my 2001 Acura Integra LS 2-door 5-speed (non-vtec 140 hp engine). I have no other modifications on my car but this. Before I made my decision, I began reading all reviews here and other places. Many readers stated that the Greddy SP looks great and sounds great. It does look great, and it does sound great. I wish it were just a bit louder, it''s not as loud as I thought. Basically, you can make it sound loud if you hit the gas hard. But it''s not really loud, it''s more of a very low deep bassy sound. If you accelarate fast, it can sound loud, but I don''t think it''s as loud on the outside as you might think. I had my friends drive the car for me while I was walking on the sidewalk so I could hear it, and yes you can hear the car coming. So anybody walking on the sidewalks will hear it, but nobody one block away will. In other words, if you want to be heard blocks away, this is not the exhaust system for you. On the other hand, this Greddy SP is great for cruising at low speeds say around a mall or parking structures -- that''s where I have fun making car alarms go off -- you have to shift very early (i.e. go to 2nd gear at about 8 mph), and that will give it a real low bassy fart sound, its great and fun doing that. Also, when cruising around a mall parking lot, do the same thing if you want attention. Installation -- forget about doing it yourself, if you have a low car like an Integra, it''s almost impossible to get under there safely on jacks, the car is just too low. Spend 50 bucks and go to your nearest muffler shop, they will be happy to install it for you -- no modifications are necessary. But I did hear a rattle noise, and I figured out that the heat shield was scraping on a sensor that goes to the catalytic converter, I just cut-off about a one-inch-square piece of the heat shield and that solved it. Keep in mind that this is the "correct" way for an exhaust system. You could spend less and just get a loud straight through muffler, using your stock piping, or get custom piping, but that will annoy you after awhile. Don''t do what those young kids do and take off the resonator or you will get that loud "buzzy can of bees" sound. A good quality cat-back exhaust system is what you want. Power gains -- I felt nothing at all, maybe slightly better flow above 50mph.
