Weakness:

None that I have found.

Excellent product. Stainless steel 3" center pipe, over axle pipe, muffler, with dual 3.5 inch polished stainless tips (19 inch tips each). This system sounds awesome on my 285+ hp, California dual cat setup with SLP CAI. Very deep, very throaty and especially pleasant when running steady at 4000-5000 rpm level. Have compared to Borla, Flowmaster, and Stock and nothing comes close to the desired sound of Magnaflow. Great fit, looks great, and what more can one ask. Installed it myself and had a muffler shop tack weld the connections. Paid $280.00 new, including shipping.

Strength:

stainless steel;excellent mandrel bends;easy to install even for a moderately able home mechanic; only a couple of db louder than oem; barely noticeable noise at highway speeds;excellent engine response at any rpm; virtually no torque loss at low rpm; legal in every state;sound somewhat similar to oem; very light; excellent ss hanger hooks; high quality hardware and u-brackets;low price; proper shipment;availability.

Weakness:

cheasy tip; cheap packaging; needed to make a big cut-out in bumper cover to accomodate a huge tip; no new gasket included( unlike most performance systems)

very well built system, features 2.25 inch stainless steel. consists of 3 parts: midpipe, muffler section, tip section.every section has properly welded ss hangers.also included are Ni plated u-brackets with top class hardware.flange from flex pipe to mid-pipe is also ss and comes with high quality bolts ( no new gasket though). removal of the old exhaust is pita due to rust of old bolts ( may need to cut off or grind off). the rubber hangers are the best in the industry. the installation of magnaflow is plain and easy, because it is simplier and lighter than ford's system. i installed it myself in my garage by simply lifting a passenger side of a car onto a foot-tall stands.

1. grate sound 2. welds are quality 3. lifetime warrenty 4.looks good 5. 3 years later its still as shiney as when i got it. 6. price

Weakness:

none. not a single one.

i have had the exhaust on my car for a few years now, and it is one of the only systems on the market that is not rice. great deep sound, resinator does it's job, at the time it was the first performance mod. it gave the car the ability to hit higher speeds quicker without struggling to get there, probably 3-7 hp(about all to get from any exhaust) but sounds great

Strength:

1. Stainless steel construction 2. PRICE! 3. Nice tone 4. Slight increase in power (your results may vary depending on supporting mods) 5. Easy installation 6. Lifetime warranty

Weakness:

Only thing I could think of was that the tip was a little large. I'd much rather see some DTM or dual tips on this, but what can you do. It still looks good though.

Great catback exhaust...stainless steel w/ a lifetime warranty, can't beat that for under $400. Sounds great too. I added this after an AEM CAI and DC Sports headers and this made a real nice jump in power. Definitely loud when crossing over into vtec, it absolutely screams. The tone of this exhaust is mellow, I wouldnt say deep but what can you expect from a 1.8liter four banger. IT DOES NOT SOUND RICEY, because if it did it wouldn't be on my ride. If you want rice, just buy a muffler and put it on your 1 7/8" cavalier piping. Thatll sound real good...riiiight!

sounds good till 3,000 rpm looks really cool

Weakness:

sounds like crap after 3,000 rpm hangs low i wanted to lower my car 2" but i dont know if i will be able to cause of how low the pipes are.

I have had my exaust for about 6 months and i thought it would sound good since it came from rk sport because they sell everything for the cavaliers. well that wasnt true!!!! i have the 2 pipes and it looks cool and all but after 3,000 rpm forget it it all goes down hill!. i am lookin for a new exaust that sounds like the eclipses and civics please email me if you know of any!!!! thanks

Strength:

great sound isnt too loud lifetime warranty price looks

Weakness:

might not be loud enough for some

i just got my magnaflow system installed today and i must say that im very happy with it . i was worried that it would be obnoxiously loud , but to my suprise its only a little bit louder than stock . you can tell its there , but its no where near as loud as other systems ive heard . which may be a good or bad thing depending on what you want . the sound that does come out is a very nice subtle deep sound and doesnt sound ricey at all . when i first pulled away from the muffler shop i noticed a difference in throttle response right away . now im not the type of person to say it added hp , just because thats what someone may have told me , but i really do feel this exhaust system gave me some extra oomph . which is extremely needed in my civic lx . so if you want a very nice exhaust system that comes with a lifetime warranty , gives you some added power , isnt that hard on the wallet , and isnt too loud then this system might be just what youre looking for .

Nice feel accelerating, and real loud when you want it to be.

Weakness:

Can be annoying when downshifting (ie. loud.)

I'm over all pretty satisfied with the cat-back system I got put on my accord. I can feel the power increase. It's also very loud, my neighbors hate it :) It has a very nice deep tone also.

Cheapest Catback for 2001 Civic Not extremely loud

Weakness:

Piping hangs wayyyy too low to the ground, I hit every large bump Isn't as loud as I want, cuz I'm young and in that stage Deep, but not bassy

Is pretty quiet for those that don't want to get pulled over for their exhaust being too loud. Not silent though, makes a deep tone, and gets loud when you get on it.

Similar Products Used:

Stock. Heard Greddy, Tanabe, and Hayame. Like all those better just cuz they're louder.
