You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the ditsy actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America ...
Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of Americas Judeo-Christian heritage.
Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and America Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the socialist left.
His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine.
Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system that is targeting television shows on Fox News.
Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) that he applies to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He's banking on no one finding out who he is, so, STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends..
Chairman Lewis' gift helps the ACLU promote their anti-Christmas agenda such as:

· Removing nativity scenes from public property

· Banning songs such as Silent Night from schools

· Refusing to allow students to write about the Christian aspect of Christmas in school projects

· Renaming Christmas break Winter break

· Refusing to allow a city sponsored Christmas parade to be called a Christmas parade

· Not allowing a Christmas tree in a public school

· Renaming a Christmas tree displayed on public property a Holiday tree

In addition to their war on Christmas, the ACLU uses gifts like that from Chairman Lewis to:

· Sue states to force them to legalize homosexual marriage

· Force libraries to remove porn filters from their computers

· Sue the Boy Scouts to force them to accept homosexuals as scout leaders

· Help legalize child pornography

· Legalize live sex acts in bars in Oregon

· Protect the North American Man Boy Love Association whose motto is "sex by eight or it is too late"

· Censor student led prayer at graduation

· Remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance

· Remove "In God We Trust" on our currency

All of a sudden their "funny commercials" aren't so funny anymore!!

Beware of this company, they consider the value of your life to be very low, a little over $10.00 per day. You should know that even though you may be the innocent party Progressive will not pay the medical bills caused by their insured unless you agree to accept the $10.00 per day compensation offer. Since they consider the injured party to be of so little value, I doubt they consider their insureds to have more value. The moral of this story is that unless you milk the system they will not properly compensate you for your injury, pain and suffering or lost time. Progressive will not pay your bills unless you abuse the system. Not a responsible company regardless of the cute commercials.

Does not take care of the injured party, I doubt they take care of their insureds.

Don't use this company, they may be cheap & they hold your life just as cheap.

Stay away from them. There are many other insurance companies with much better service and prices. Here is my story with progressive. I bought my first insurance with them and tried to make it as cheap as possible as i only moved to the USA and had limited funds. I opted for monthly payments by direct debit (authorized to take funds from my bank account at the certain date each month). But Progressive (now I understand why they call themselves PROGRESSIVE) decided to increase my premium for the next period without no particular reason (while other companies actually give you bonuses and decrease premiums). The worst thing is that at that time I was in a really bad financial situation and had to count every cent so being unaware of increase in premium I had amount on my bank account only for my regular payments. But this guys tried to take increased payment from my bank account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!. Payment was denied as it led to overdraft. As soon as I found that out (2 days later) I called progressive to stop their service immediately. But would you believe that they still did put the amount for the next month for collection. After reading other reviews I wish some day this company will be out of the business

Was rear-ended in car accident 1/6/2011. I waited a couple months after accident to see if pain in neck, shoulder and headaches would go away. Had been in contact with my injury claims person, Francisca A Bobadilla. The pain did not go away. End of March started seeing a chiropractor who helped with managing pain end of March. Saw him with my hectic schedule 1-2 week. In June my chiropractor and I received letter from Fransisca Bobadilla, personal claims rep Progressive, that treatment was going through peer review. Peer review means that they get one of their doctors to review treatment to see if treatment warranted. Contacted Progressive, they said I could seek other treatment. After looking for a couple weeks found physical therapist. Physical therapist and I both made sure treatment approved by Progressive 1st. On Aug. 17th, received a call then letter from Fransisca Bobadilla of Progressive stating Progressive would not pay for any chiropractor treatment after 4/20/2011!!! That's horrible! I had been treated from end of March til June 17th when we received notice of review. So basically, Progressive only paid 1 month of treatmen and won’t pay for treatments from 4/20/2011 to 6/17/2011! Not even sure if they are going to pay for physical therapy. Had to cancel my physical therapy appointments because not sure if they will pay. Don't use Progressive, they won't honor their claims. Disgraceful costumer service. Progressive, my insurance provider, was suppose to cover any medical expenses up to $5000. This was no were near that limit.

Do not be deceived by feeling your voice is recording when speaking with sales rep or supervisor your voice saying NO do not take amount from my bank account can simply be canceled out by a document they send to you not signed or sent back. This document I never saw.

Progressive insured my jeep liberty with 100 collision 100 comprehension. My fiance was not on my policy due to the fact he was not employed or had a vehicle of driving standards. In my eyes wearing a ring does not mean I am responsible for his financial responsibilities. When signing for the policy i said i am not adding him but if emergency he does have the right to be driving the vehicle am i correct they said yes he does 7 times a year. I work at macys and had a severe migraine on black Friday late concluded contributed by my pregnancy. My 14 hour day feel short of 5 leaving early with a cluster migraine. I went home told craig to leave needing complete silence and darkness quickly falling asleep i awoke to a phone call he had fallen asleep at the wheel and hit a telephone pole totaling the vehicle. Craig was not an active driver. Saturday night i was hospitalized due to the migraine as well. Progressive did not feel this was an emergency and added him to the policy even with record of the recorded call saying do not add him to my policy do not take that amount of $446 as quoted. Progressive did however make a new amount without my knowledge of 330 and took the amount from my account verses the 81 i was aware would continued to be taken. I filed a claim with my bank which they took the 330 back concluding investigation there was no written documentation with my signature allowing that amount to be taken. There was documentation 81 was allowed. I canceled the policy leaving me a balance of 252 i tried multiple attempts of working with them asking them to simply remove 50 and i wopuld cut ties with them nicely. They refused suggested a bill collecter was the option instead. I have great credit and have worked hard to achieve so even the thought of them collection half the amount satisfied them more then working with me and taking 50 dollars off. My review agrees with the multiple i read they say things such as," i wish i could help, there is only so much we can do," to make you feel your voice is heard but they simply want their money and calling them is a waste of time. I spent over 3 hours all together on the phone with them. I an a manager of my department and I have the authoirty to work with customers when I feel it is needed. Progressive felt 50 dollars was worth more than my word of mouth. If you do have a clkaim covered by progressive my best advice is to switch immediately after because they own you and your bank account afterwards. They tried taking the 330 amount from my account 2 times even when i said not to. Signing up for automatic payments is a bad idea never give someone the right to your account. I hope my review is taken into consideration.

The people who you deal with from the very first call make you feel like they care, they almost had me thinking I would change my insurance company to Progressive. Come to find out the are just trained idiots who really are just reading a script.

Made promises of "we will do you right on the personal injury side of the claim", that didn't happen either.

My daughter was rear ended by an 18 year old female who was talking on a cell phone and failed to see the red light that my daughter was stopped at,her insurance was Progressive. (BTW this was that females 5th accident) My daughters car was totaled. There was a loan on the car,it was a used car and Progressive was quick to settle on the car which was enough to go out and get her another car but we were still left with a $3500 loan on the totaled car. I did a lot of complaining and I heard many times "our hands are tied on what we can do on the car but rest assured, we will make good on the injury side" That never happened, and all the time going on and on about how concerned about my daughter's health and well being, it couldn't have been any more fake. We made the choice not to go the lawyer route because that is not how we are but rest assured I will promote what liars and con artist they are. Hope no one else get's in an accident where they have to deal with Progressive Insurance. Thanks for the insult of a payment Bobbie, I will remember how many times you said you would "make good" as I finish paying that car loan!

Failed to pay any accident claim.

My wife had an accident back in June 2010 and she still going to physical therapy. she spent 12 days in the hospital, broken ribs, broken ankle, broken pelvis, pancreas and splin removed. It was a very bad accident and did Progressive insurance paid for my wifes medical pay, therapy, hospital, ER and ICU expenses, NO! They found slitest and ridiculius excuses to denied my claim. How much do I own know to the hospital? 200k plus and Progressive didn't gave me a penny, just a finger on our face.

I'm paying $55 with full coverage with 300K in medical expenses with Geico. I was paying $68 with Progressive with minimum ins converage and a change to a finger if you ever have an accident.
I'm getting a lot more for less with Geico. I highly recommend Geico car insurance.

My husband and I have been with progressive for nearly 20 years with no claims and never lapsed. I had an accident in June of 2010. Progressive made a lowball offer and then put off settling until December of 2010. In late dec my husband wrecked his truck and filed the claim two days later. Progressive refused to come out to asses the damage. They told him he had to drive two and a half hours in this wrecked truck to their main office for an estimate. When he got there, he was turned away and told he had to come back another time. So he went home to wait for another opening. After a month he finally got in to an estimator only for him to be told the damage was old and progressive would not pay! Unbelievable! Do not waste your money with Progressive. They are a ripoff!!!!!!!!!!
