State Farm should be put out of business. Hopefully spreading the word will help. They should be ashamed! my fiance have an accident (that wansnt his fault) 2 years ago, they wont approve for him to see a dr or get cover meds. The letters keep coming, the case is still under review, for 2 years!! I just got done reading some horror stories about State Farm right here, so I'm not the only one. How are they fooling so many customers?

48 year State Farm customer. Excellent driving record. Family member got DUI. Cancelled ALL of our coverage (home,cars,Travel trailer, ATV and motorcycle, none of which the family member ever used). Told me that I had to evict family member (child) or all insurance cancelled. They weren't lying. They cancelled me. This is not an exageration and I have left nothing out. "Good Neighbor" is not true.

These people are unbelievable. Getting reimbursement from State Farm took over 3 weeks and daily phone calls. It should not be this hard to get a fair settlement for an accident for which they accepted 100% liability.

The worst comment I heard, when I asked them for the name of someone in their quality department, is "we don't have a quality department." That is a blinding glimpse of the obvious! If this is their idea of being a good neighbor, I hope they don't move onto our street.

If this is how they treat their policy holders, it is amazing that they are still in business.

Avoid state farm insurance company at all costs!

Avoid state farm company at all costs for your own good. my family and i have been state farm customers for three generations. when i had my first accident last month, i had a blow out on the highway, they told me that fixing my tier is NOT COVERED because it is "BETTERMENT" of my car! then they called one and a half months later while my car sat in the shop and said that they will not cover damages inside the car because it has nothing to do with the damages outside the car. i got thrashed when my tire blew out and hit the seat controls and broke off a plastic knob. they cost me 550 in car rental lone while they made this call. this company should be called "snake charm" not state farm.

State farm is a great neighbor if you don’t mind shelling out your premium money and then God forbid you have a claim.

Recently I received a letter indicating my auto insurance rates will be raised due to a 5 mile over the speed limit ticket and a minor auto claim. Not only do I insure my two vehicles with State Farm, we also have Home, Life, Umbrella, and disability policy with State Farm insurance.

There is ZERO faith that State Farm insurance has in there policy holders. There are allot of other insurance company’s and this seems to be the right a consumer seems to have, leave state farm insurance

Pay your premiums but put a claim in and up with your rates in a heartbeat State Farm Insurance is A CROOK out to get you... Stay away and beware there is NO forgiveness of any kind with this company. Even if you pay your bill and are never late. State Farm is one Neighbor I NEVER WANT TO HAVE AGAIN

my car was totalled. they made me turn in my rental before my settlement check even cleared the bank. how am i supposed to work when i dont have transportation? finding a new car in less than a week is unreasonable, especially when i dont have the money from the settlement, and being told i am lucky to even have a rental for bit is horrible customer service and a bad attitude. i will never use state farm, they dont care.

Refuse to cover claims. If a complait is filed with commissioner State Farm will initiate a insurance fraud investigation intended on weakening or refusing the claim. Then State Farm will inititate cancellation to discourage future claims. All claim repoting is done by phone which does not establish a easily proven claim. Stae Farm can and will just say the claim was not made in the adequete time. Very shady work for a good neighbor!

The very advertised positive of State Farm is you get personel service. This very old school approach will during a dispute leave you with no paper trail and timmed documentation. Most of the salesmen are just that salemen. When disputes arise the salesman dissapear and the investigators show up. My advise when this happens is to immediately seek counsil.

Progressive uses new methods to keep client and custermors happy and all have very tracable documents. The missing agent is rarely missed. And in the case with State Farm he is really not looking out for your best interest. Stay away from State Farm most of their money is spent advertising at sporting events whereas more could be spent on thier claims.

Considering that I have been a State Farm consumer continuously for 18 years, one would think I would be treated well. NOT AT ALL! The local office is always friendly and as helpful as they can be, but the company is SHADY!!!!!!!!!! They're fine, like any car insurance company, if you don't have any problems. If you do, State Farm will do absolutely anything they can to make your life a living hell. Trying to recover from a car accident that was not my fault, was made that much harder by a company that continued to pay lost wages late every single month and make it harder and harder to survive. I have been accident free for a very long time now, and they raised my rates over $150 with absolutely no explanation. I have absolutely no loyalty to them. Saving over $600 a year with another car insurance company and have even BETTER coverage. Never go with State Farm. I don't care how many people use them...it's probably people like me that have been with them for years and don't even think about checking another company's rates. There are a LOT more insurance choices out there than there used to be. Do NOT give State Farm your money. Other companies give discounts for multi-car and including other types of insurance ( i.e. home owner's ) with your policy, too.

STATE FARM USES JUNK YARD REPLACEMENT PARTS AS POLICY. FACT-Yes, I am a service manager at a large repair shop and STATE (snake) FARM ALLWAYS insists on using crashed car parts to repair your crashed vehicle. I have to deal with these deceptive people constantly and I wish the State Attorney would investigate and prosecute State Farm for ripping people off. People think their cars are repaired properly but all suspension parts com from junk yards off previously wrecked cars. Someday this practice will bite SF.

Got a motorcycle added onto my automobile policy. Sold the motorcycle and bought a new one. My State Farm Policy said I had ten days to notify them.

The motorcycle was stolen two days later, and they refused the claim, saying that I didn't have a "motorcycle policy"???

A brand new motorcycle, two days old was stolen from me. I had insurance with State Farm for my car, and assumed this motorcycle would be covered. They refused the claim, saying that my motorcycle wasn't coverd under my "automobile" policy. I previously had a different motorcycle insured by them under an "automobile" policy, and they were fine then. Luckily I never had to make a claim on that one. State Farm is not like a good neighbor, they are more like your worst neighbor. Everytime I hear their commercial I want to tell everyone how they ripped me off...
