'94 Accord Wagon (AT)
Strength:
Looks great, a very modest improvement in performance.
Weakness:
Too freakin' loud! I was looking for increased performance, not the appearance (or sound, in this case) of increased performance. I paid around $170 for the DAC kit. The instructions were pretty good, and installation was a snap. The first time I drove the car with the intake on there I was shocked at the noise. When idling or cruising at low RPM it sounds pretty much stock, but when you stomp the gas, the wagon roars from 3000 RPM to redline. I'm convinced that throttle response and 3K to redline horsepower have improved, though not by massive amounts. |
