Strength:

ok handling in dry

Weakness:

hydroplaning, tire wear, everything is wrong with these.

These are crap tires im sorry to disagree with all you people but these tires cost me big time. I have a turbo Integra GS-R and grip at the drag strip is poor. Around corners thier ok, but in the rain i spun the car around 6 or 7 times on I-85 and landed in a huge briar bush. That was a bad night, then a couple months before that happened the tire just seperated and blew in the middle I-85. Tire wear is poor even tire shine doesnt want to stick to it. My car is lowered 5 inches and when i spin off the road or blow a tire it cost money i do not suggest these tires!

Nothing i've used would be compared to these. I could have ran flea market tires and got better use out of them.

New from day 1 that I made a mistake with these tires. Huge amount of "humming" road noise - enough for passengers to ask "what is that noise". After 14 months and 22,000 km (14,000 miles) I have to replace them because two of the four tires have worn right through to the belt. I used strictly for highway driving and rotated twice during the period. Thankfully I can make a claim through Costco.

Strength:

Reasonbly smooth and quiet ride.

Weakness:

Poor wear.

I was happy with the tires until recently. The tires have not worn evenly I have to replace 3 of 4 in less than half the warrantied period.

Strength:

Dry pavement handling is supper. Better than most tires on Snow and Ice, if you drive resonably, and don't run tire presure over 30psi. I have had the tires 2 years, and they are wearing evenly.Good looking tires.

Weakness:

They ride harder than some tires, but I supose most "H" rated tires are this way.

Far superior and longer lasting than factory tires. Since we have snow and ice in the mountains where I live, I chose a tread design that would work better in this climate. They do have a harder ride, but it drives around corners on dry pavement like it was on railroad tracks, very impressive.Good for emergency manuevers.I use Studded snow tires for the hardest part of the winter, but was impressed, at how well they did on surprise snow and ice storms. The diagonal slots really help in corning in snow and soft ice. The studded tires out perform them on hard ice surfaces though.

Strength:

Superb traction, not too much tire brun through tight corners at modest speed.

Weakness:

pretty expensive for what they are, you can get p6000''s for less.

This is quite a good tire. Although i have only taken about 30 corners hard on it, i must say that it holds on tight. My last tires were potenza re92''s (also found on the old q45''s). I would say i can pull about .03 more g''s on the skidpad. taking residentials at 30 mph, i experience no tire burn, quite different from my old re 92''s. I paid $350 for all four installed at Costco, and am happy wiht my purchase, although i wish i had bought re950''s (which are one step up). Actually, some Pole Posistion S0-3 tires are teh best from Bridgestone. But they don''t make 14 inch tires

Strength:

Grip well on dry tarmac. Pretty good on wet. Less sidewall squish.

Weakness:

Poor performance in the snow. I think my old BFGs did better in this area. Ride a bit harder/louder than the BFGs.

Not bad for a low cost performance tire. One of the few tires that will fit the oddball size for the Stanza. I'd pick them over the stock BFGoodrich tires.

BFGoodrich Touring T/A. I picked the Bridgstones due to their more agressive design and reviews I have seen.

Strength:

Outstanding wet traction, almost like it's dry unless you get extremely aggressive. Dry also excellent. Fairly quiet and has a decent ride. I don't generally toss the car around, but I'll probably only see 35,000 miles on them. I have never been able to 'squeal' these tires under any conditions.

Weakness:

Had to drive in snow/ice with half the tread worn down. Forward acceleration was quite poor, although stops & turns felt more competent. And that's with a limited slip differential too, so I expect getting going with a regular automatic would be unacceptable altogether. My gas mileage plummeted (at least 10%) after I got these tires 20,000 miles ago & I attribute it to very high rolling resistance compared to the OEM Toyos.

These tires are very competent except in the snow/ice. They are too subject to punctures even with lots of tread left. For the price, they are a great tire if you want a moderately aggressive stance and good handling. I may get something in the 'grand touring' category next time because of changing personal preference.

Similar Products Used:

The I30t came with Toyo A06. The RE930's are a little louder, a little rougher. And much higher performance. It's a good trade off if you want more performance. Personally, I'm going to scale things back to a soft touring tire next time. (Also I recommend a front strut brace on this car. It really reduced harshness in addition to improving handling. The Maxima/I30 really was designed for bigness on minimal weight, and the brace is something that they sorely needed to put in. I wish it hadn't taken me 50,000 miles to figure it out.)

Strength:

great dry, wet, and snow traction for a do it all tire.

Weakness:

none.

used on an '89 Audi 90 Quattro. For a smaller all season tire, I was very impressed with the tires ability to deal with standing water, its quiet competent dry handling, and especially its ability to handle snow. Even some friends of mine left their Jeep at home and had me drive them around. Sure, quattro was part of the equation, but stopping and turning relies on the tires and they worked well in all situations and impressed. I would highly recommend these tires to anyone looking for an all season tire that is M&S rated.
