Strength:

I've heard they're cheap... I wouln't buy them tho.

Weakness:

Wet traction and fast tread wear.

4,000 miles and my front tires are done... they don't last too much. Oh and wet traction very very bad. This resulting in a TOTAL lose of control when just turning a little bit at normal speed when asphalt is wet.

Strength:

excellent traction on dry roads

Weakness:

wears faster than expected and horrible snow/ice traction

Nice SUMMER tire, excellent dry and wet traction, has worn evenly but a bit fast which is to be expected. Whatever you do, don't try to make them work as an all season tire..

Strength:

Excellent handling, braking, and low noise. They are also sensational for traction in rain and snow. They are a real bargain

Weakness:

None, these are superb tires.

I have purchased 2 sets of Kumho 795 Touring A/S tires for this car. The first set cost $52/ea., the second set were $58/ea. The first set lasted over 42k miles, and this is excellent for a Taurus.

Strength:

tread life grip

Weakness:

cant think of one right now ( i'll think of one as soon as i click post review)

i have kumho tires on all of my cars ( Honda prelude, Porsche 928 S4, mustang GT,and a Mitubishi montaro). I get them bucause they are the best tirs you can get for the money. I have a Poreshe 928 and it chews tires like none other but kumho is the only tire that dosnt get ripped up every 6 months.

Strength:

The tires had decent grip for their price when they weren't cracking into pieces.

Weakness:

The entire tire is one big weakness, especially the tread walls.

Around a year and half ago I bought a new set of Motegi MR7's. I bought the Kumho's with it, and have had nothing but trouble since. I have the same problem with the tires every time. Inner tread wall cracking, usually long, deep cracks along the entire tread wall. After replacing one tire about every 3 months, I finally did something smart and stop buying the Kumho's, and went with Falken's. Kumho picked up the tab on the last set, good customer service, crappy product. A lot of mechanics told me that the tread wall was cracking because of under inflation, because of this I checked the pressure every time I filled my car up, 9 times out of 10 the pressure was right.

Model Reviewed: Nissan 240SX SE

Strength:

Steering, grip threshold, and stability increase on a basically stock-handling 240SX. Improved look in stance. Adequate feedback in both wet and dry driving.

Weakness:

None that I can say. Pretty slippery when cold and brand new. Made me peel out and drift out of the tire shop when I left : P

These tires have plenty of grip. I have 215/45ZR17's combined with KYB GR2 struts. Cornering speeds have increased and the car sits better when I throttle out of corners. Grip is firm, even with minimum load shift, for fast corner entry speeds. The grip is good on twisty mountain roads on both up and downhill grades goin 20-30 mph over speed limit : ) Well worth the $$$.

Strength:

Decent to Good wet traction, CHEAP!

Weakness:

Not the best choice for balls out driving, ie. Deal's Gap.

Good all around cheap tire. Traction is ok. Not the greatest tire once it gets hot but for normal everyday driving it fits the bill perfectly.
