Its rides pretty sweet! Tight cornering for sure... not too bouncy and rides comfortably. Im still using stock struts, and the shocks seems to be wearin now compared to when i first intsalled it
Weakness:
Not low enough. 1.2" just isnt doing it for me.. I need something like 1.75" to 2". Was thinkin about coilovers. No. Go with the Eibach sportlines.. rides about the same and looks better. Similar Products Used: stock |

Gives it a bad ass lowered appearance. Improved handling.
Weakness:
a little pricey but would rather pay more for a higer quality. Gives the car a better looking appearance by pretty much eliminating wheel well gap. Also, my friends mustang can't keep up with me around turns. Make sure you replace struts with them too because my rear stocks went in about 4 months and im waitin for my fronts to go soon. Bought em for 150, installed em myself along with my tokico illuminas. All told the springs cost me 230 ($80 bucks since i dont have a spring compressor i payed for the mounting). The ride is alot more subtle than I thought it would be which I am happy with. The handling has increased dramatically and they seem to have lowered the car just right. Altho I do rub with 17x7.5 +40 I'm happy overall. I'd recommend them. Don't seem to have any camber problems either.
Weakness:
nothing yet I'd recommend them for someone who doesnt want or simply cant have (like me)a dramatic drop and cares about performance. Similar Products Used: none |

-Great ride (Better then expected), suitable for daily driving.
Weakness:
-Get new performance shocks. My stock shocks gave up after a couple of months. Eibach makes great springs. I think they are the best in the business. The ride is really close to stock. It is a little stiff for about two weeks but it softened up after that. It makes your car look more aggressive when lowered. Handling is greatly improved, no more nose dive nor sways. Great for daily driving. Gets a little harsh on rough roads, but it was expected. It doesn't lowers the car that much but I liked the ride height and ride, just right. I would recommend getting shocks together with the springs. My stock shocks died after about two weeks. Goes well with Koni or Tokico shocks. I paid about $450 CDN installed. I would recommend these springs to anyone who is going to drive daily. All I have to say is...they are great, well worth the money spent. Similar Products Used: H&R |

Ride improvement
Weakness:
Lower than expected The car handled much better immediately. The difference in cornering, starting & stopping was extremely noticeable as soon as I left the shop. The car feels much safer and more capable. The car also looks a lot better too, lowered a fraction over an inch at each corner. This car is much more fun to drive now! Similar Products Used: Stock |

Better handling.
Weakness:
A bit lower than I expected, but the car looks a lot better. The car handled much better immediately. The car feels safer, much more solid and more capable. Took some hard curves right away and the difference was night and day. The springs make the car much more fun to drive. Starting and stopping is better with much less dipping/diving. The springs lowered the car about 1 inch at each corner and the car looks much much better. Similar Products Used: Stock. |

Man, these are great...So much better than the stock springs...The ride is definitely noticable...more solid and firm...These actually takes the bumps and small dips better than then stock springs...Perfect spring rates..not too soft nor hard...Will recommend to anyone...These didn't low the car low enought to have camber problems...Car is now more predictable than ever...Long crusing is more enjoyable and makes me want to step on it at every turn...
Weakness:
The rear seems to be lowered than the front a bit...i think Neuspeed lowers Bargain like crazy at Victoria Tires for the price $175 for the Pro...Usually this is the Sportline's price, and the Pro Kit is 195, but here, they have that the other way around.!... Similar Products Used: RS*R Down springs...These are a bit too soft..These gave me a 2.75% camber up front...But nice crusing rides though...I don't recommend these for autocross or race on weekends.. |

My main reason for purchasing the springs was for looks, and they did exactly what I wanted. The Audi takes somewhat of a "raised" grasshopper look (exagerated wheel gap) when fitted with 18 inch rims, an optical illusion, as we all know. Additionally, the squatted stance gives the car a better feel, with more control at the wheel, both for everyday driving and when taking corners. I thought for sure that my wife would complain about the ride, when in fact she commented on that she felt much safer driving since the springs were installed...what a relief! By the way, for the people who don't want the "slammed" look, this is the spring to go with...it looks very stock, especially on a European car.
Weakness:
Of course ride quality has suffered, but this was expected. Actually the 18 rims, with 40 series tires killed the ride more than the springs. The springs just have less travel, which naturally creates a stiffer ride, progressive or not. BUT, you get used to it pretty quickly...go SLOW over speedbumps though. I paid $220 through shox.com. I told them I wanted them for $220, and they said no. 2 minutes later they returned another e-mail saying that they could honor that price. This was $40 cheaper than anywhere else that I could find. Costed about $260 to have them installed...pretty pricey, but I've always gone to this guy and I trust him. The price also included alignment for all 4 wheels...be sure that they do this! Strength:
Cornering is flatter (not as much sway) and the front end does not dive as much during braking.
Weakness:
Really hurts the ride on big bumps using the stock dampers. Possibly upgraded dampers would help. Definitly make the car look better and the handling improved noticably. |

i love erything about them. except the possible "sag" that developes with improper shock valving,,,u must change the shocks to match the lower spring!!!! for the price it was worth it in all aspects....buy it right away,...price is no concern with these..."shot-peened" very high quality...
