Strength:

Outstanding performance increase. I put a set on my 66 Mustang and even on a 34 year old car it improved the performance dramatically, not to mention the awesome stance I got from the 1" lowering it did.

Weakness:

Roughens up the ride a bit, but well worth the gains

Well worth the money. I got a pair for 120 from Carparts. If you're looking to improve performance, go for it. It is a bit hard to find a local installer that will use parts your provide, but a little calling will solve that problem anywhere.

Excellent ride quality, looks real tight. Handles much better than stock. More confidence and power into turns.

Weakness:

Nothing.

I paid 200 bucks for them. Excellent investment. Defintiely makes car more fun to drive. Very tight, comfortable ride. Quicker into turns.
Definitely worth the money.

Strength:

i like the appearance gains because of the 1 inch drop, my handligh was greatly improved. plus i had 70,000 milkes on the car so i realized how badly they needed to be replaced.

Weakness:

other than the fact that i once hit the ground on my friends really steep driveway, none- i am pleased with this product

i cant remember the exact price i paid, although if you can find these springs at a good deal i would get them. they are awesome

Strength:

Excellent quality, progressive, handling improves, lower vehicles look great

Weakness:

decreased ride comfort.

Eibach are one of the best springs on the market. The progressive part is great because when pushed around a turn the springs respond and tighten up for improved handling. I paid around 210 for a pair for a 89 Toyota MR2.

Model Reviewed: 1999 Miata 10th Anniversary Edition

Strength:

Lowers the car a bit and flattens out the ride when driving hard.

Weakness:

Wanted to level the front/rear rake of the car out...with non coilover shocks the front may sit a bit too low with the front air dam on the car. May be too stiff for some people depending on shocks used with these springs.

Paid ~$225.00 for the set, along with a set of coilovers. Have had them on the car with the original Bilsteins and with the coilovers. Ride is a bit harsher than stock with the original Bilsteins, which some find harsh to start with, but not termendously. Ride was too harsh with the coilovers on less than pristine roads, but the car handled amazingly on smooth roads. Suspect once you hit significantly higher spring rates on performance oriented cars the shocks you choose to match the springs become increasingly more important.

If you want to ONLY lower your car and have no intentions of 'real' performance driving, other springs may be better suited for you, like the Apex's which are only slightly stiffer than stock springs.

If you're willing to sacrifice some ride quality for more aggressive handling, I'd recommend the Eibachs but also recommend installing them first on original sport package Bilsteins before determining your shock replacements.

Strength:

Warranty, price, awesome handling. These springs are great they give the car a sweet slammed look and you cant go worng with the 10 year warranty

Weakness:

tought to get them on the car

These springs are the best mod for your money. You get instant results. Better cornering and sharper handlin. Pair these springs with a strut tower bar and a nice tire and whell combo and you'll be ready for cruisin.

Strength:

The agressive look that it gives the car.

Weakness:

I paid $225 for the set. I really like the tight handling that it has given to the car and the look that it gave to it by lowering it slightly.

Strength:

I like the improved appearance and the comfort it provides the driver with performance springs(near stock ride). Cornering is improved.

Weakness:

Nothing really

Well, I have to say that these springs are an excellent recommendation. And for you guys who are complaining about these "PRO-KITS", you guys should've got sportlines, which offer about a half to a full inch more of lowering. Big mistake for you guys. And for the guy with the Saturn, if you think the springs don't make a difference, maybe you should think again. Maybe its the driver and not the components *hint, hint!!*

Model Reviewed: 1999 Maxima SE

Strength:

Retains a very smooth ride, almost cannot feel the difference when just cruising around town. Quickly gives you a solid feel when asking your vehicle to take a turn. Eliminated high speed wander, feeling great increases in stability. Reduced high wind wander also.

Weakness:

Can't find anything yet, No rubbing, Bottoming out, or harshness. Does not handle as well as specific rate springs, when pushed.

Paid $315 with install on Maxima, including tax. Good price. Gave the perfect drop level, making the wheel look perfectly centered in wheel well. Have always used specific springs before, does not handle as well as specifics, but can't compare to if you ride on the street. Never in 10 years have heard a bad thing about Eibach, unlike all other brands, heard lot of nightmare stories. Was not sure if Eibach would be to harsh, but after install, cannot complaint about ride. It felt as if I almost didn't change anything, until I got the car in the twisties and on the freeways. My car has never bottomed going up a driveway, or over speedbumps. High speed stability gives great confidence on turns and rough roads.

Strength:

These are great springs!! The ride feels nearly stock but the car feels much tighter in the corners, the difference in handling between stock and the Pro-Kit is night and day. These things are awesome!

Weakness:

I wish they would've dropped the car a little bit lower. (an average of an inch on each side) For some reason though there's a slight deviation in the height on the corners of the car, I stress slight, I think there's less than a quarter inch difference in the height of the corners.

I purchased mine from True Choice here in Ohio. (www.truechoice.com) They do mail order too and they have an ad in the back of Sport Compact Car. I would have to say that the people that work there are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Great service! I got mine for $210 + tax, they were charging $235 but they will lower the price if you bargain with them some.
