H & R Sport Springs Springs

DESCRIPTION

Each spring is tuned for that elusive combination of shifter-kart handling and a controlled, yet comfortable ride (about 25-30% stiffer than stock).

Strength:

Excellent Look. Inexpensive. Quality. Improved Handling.

Weakness:

Slightly Bouncy on Stock Shocks. Aftermarket Shocks semi-recommended.

I just installed these myself, and although getting the stock springs off sucked, installation of the H&Rs was great. The car looks excellent, although I think it was dropped more than the 2" advertised. The ride is okay, but kind of bumpy for me. I will probably replace the struts in the future. I would highly recommend these springs to anyone with an Accord.

Strength:

-Great Price -Perfect ride height -Excellent ride quality(with the AGXs)

Weakness:

-NONE

I ordered these from TireRack.com. I paid $170 shipped. These springs are great. Gave my car the perfect drop. Not too low...just right. Makes my Acura GSR rims look even better. The ride quality is excellent. I have these paired up with some KYB AGXs...PERFECT COMBO...Car handles MUCH better than stock. I will be adding front and rear sway bars and front and rear lower tie bars to complete what is already an excellent set up.

Strength:

stiff....takes turns great...no body roll

Weakness:

a bite too low fo the front end

This springs were way better then what i had b 4 (tokico springs)...there were good fo two things....One was they were a real comfortable rite..second they look great wasn't too low or wasn't too high. But the handling is nothing compared to H&R. even tho these springs are a bite lower then tokico it made a hugh differance in handling but it alwayz made a huge differance on comfort. It's stiff fo sure u'll feel almost every bump on the road...the high is quite lower fo the front...i have 15in rims with 55 series tires...if i take a hard turn with my wheels turn almost to the full extent...my wheel is rub against the fender..but other then those factors that were bad...GOOD SPRINGS

I got this with KYB AGX. The looks is perfect for me. It dropped just right. NO scraping. I don't need camber kit or alignment.

Model Reviewed: 2003 Acura TL Type S

Strength:

Tight Suspension Reduced Roll Reduced Body Lean Reduced Nosedive Better Acceleration from Stop Looks good!

Weakness:

None that i can think of. Get some good tires to really make use of these springs.

I purchased my car back in June of 2002. My car is the Type S version and it was suppose to have improved suspension. It was good, but it still had body lean and all. I got these H&R Sport Springs in November. Immediately after having them installed i noticed a difference. Tighter turns, the car doesn't lean, and it looks cooler cause it takes away the wheel gap without making it look too "fast and furious"...

These springs are the best! Ive wasted over 400 bucks on VIS coilovers(crap) and Eibach sportline springs(crap.).. The Eibachs were too stiff.. It felt unstable when I would go over a cracks and bumps in the road. It seemed like the fronts were way too stiff compared to the rears making the ride terrible! Everytime i went over a bump my foot would shake uncontrollably making the throttle go up and down..
