Strength:

progressive means comfortable ride, the car handles like a F1 racer!

Weakness:

Warranty is not lifetime like other spring manufacturers. I think i might see a slight hint of rust on a coil.

There are so many spring brands out there. Among the popular are neuspeed, eibach and H&R. I didn''t choose eibach because their sport springs didn''t lower as much as the H&R''s. I didn''t pick neuspeed because of their higher price. I choose H&R because of their cheaper price and also their claims of highest quality certifications over other competitors. These Springs kick ass when matched with koni sport shocks. They are soft when they need to be (over rough roads) and stiff when they need to be (hard braking, cornering) It makes you feel very secure to know that you have the top of the line suspension components on your car. Makes you feel safe and confident when you encounter all types of roads and weather. H&R and Koni''s are the way to go.. Now the only limit I have are the tires which are starting to lose their traction during cornering.

Strength:

good for cornering, handling is improve alot on the highway, panic stop improve alot without too much of the nose dive and shorten my braking distance too.

Weakness:

too rough or harsh on the bumpy road, seem to bounce alot. car drop more then they stated

I have installed H&R sport spring along with Kyb agx on my 94 accord for about a week now. It''s handle beatifull, cornering the car without any noticeable body lean and that allow me to brake the car later then I ever did before without throwing my tissue box around. which happen to me everytime with stock setup. the drop is a bit lower then what they stated, the only complain is a bit rougher ride on the bumpy road even I have set shock to the softer setting. The car seem to bounce alot at city speed. If preformance handling you are looking for, this set up is the best, If comfy ride you are after, then this is not for you. Iam plaining to replace the spring to oe sport and sell this spring for $250 cdn. if anyone intereted I am located in Toronto.

Strength:

Nice noticable drop..Lower than described..perfect spring rate for street driving.. DOn''t know how it will perform on the track though...We''ll see....

Weakness:

Lower than expected..Had to get a camber Kit in order to have the car realigned back to factory specs.. I have -2 degree up front, and 1.5 rear...Not good for street due to rapid tire wear...!

I installed this with KYB AGX shocks...Provides very nice drop and ride... Good with 2 setting on F & R, but as soon as they are changed to 3 setting, the ride can be a bit bumpy..H&R springs are designed to use the stock bumpstop, so if you''ve read most magazines where they say you need to cut your bumpstop everytime you install lowering springs, don''t do it for H&R springs...if you do, you will experience a crappy ride, as you are changing the spring rates..THe bumpstops have been calculated into the design of the springs....do not change the bumpstop either, since the springs was designed with the stock bumpstop in mind....ANyway, follow the instruction and you''ll love these..

Eibach Pro...Awesome stuff...no complaints at all!.. Neuspeed Sport...Ride is similar to H&R, but didn''t low the car as low.. RSR springs...Loved it, but the ride was too soft.. GC coilovers...coo

great handling, nice drop, decent ride comfort

Weakness:

a little bumpy on bad roads,i dont like the difference in drop from front to rear. mine in 1.8'' in front 1.6'' in back looks kinda weird

i bought a set of h&r sport springs at the same time as i bought my set of kyb agx shocks.when i got home from the shop i couldn''t believe it was my car !! my civic handled like a porshe ( almost )when my shocks are set one 1&2 they car rides as smooth as oem, but when i put my shocks on 3&4 it gets bumpy on bad roads ( quebec is the undisputable heavyweight champion of screwd up roads ) i got used to it though.the handling outweights but far the slightly choppy ride

Strength:

awesome look, decent ride, amazing cornering, the springs themselves are very cheap... see weaknesses, easy to install

Weakness:

little jouncy with stock shocks, leads to much more $$$ (camber kit, alignment, shocks), no install instructions

I installed the H&R Sport springs with 1.75" drop front and 1.5" rear on a 2000 Honda Civic SiR (Cdn). I am very impressed with the overall look and handling. Stock the car was slightly higher in the front that the rear (maybe 1/4"), but now I have a 1/2" forward rake (measured from the frame seams) which looks awesome. I paid $289 CDN which is a bargain for the added appearance and handling they have added. It corners much better than stock - the tires break loose before the body rolls more than an inch or so... They say they are 30% stiffer than stock, but it feels like more than that. They actually have about 2 more turns than stock, but are spaced closer. They were fairly easy to install (about 4 hours), but did not come with any instructions. I found instructions at hondaracing.ca and they worked great. I also installed a Progress camber kit which is a adjustable upper ball joint in the front and new bolts and shim washers for the rear. A camber kit is recommended for tire wear, but was not cheap at $240 CDN for what you get. But it is pretty easy to drop $240 on tires... Make sure you get an wheel alignment ASAP after the install! I recommend these to anyone that wants an aggresive look and much improved handling.

I am using stock shocks for now, but the ride can be jouncy when there are multiple bumps in the road etc. Aftermarket shocks (Koni, KYB, etc) will come next, but at $800 CDN, I'll wear out the OEM shocks first.

stock springs, also compared to Eibach Sportline, but went with H&R because of the forward rake - although you could compensate for this with shocks with adjustable spring perchs

Strength:

Great improvement over stock springs, aggressive handling and increased steering response. Provides adequet stiffness and a wonderful iridescent color to the spring.

Weakness:

It was a little expensive, the drop could have been a little lower.

I had the H&R sports installed with Tokico NA struts. The ride was dramatically improved. The car handles a lot better and brakes a lot shorter now. The springs are not as stiff as I thought they were going to be but that was a good thing. The lower stance makes my car more smooth and managable then when I had the stock. I was stuck between the Neuspeed and H&R but found out they use to be manufactured by the same company and I decided to try H&R because my motorsports store said they were good. Overall I would recommend these for anybody that wants to remove the fender gap and increase suspension response.

Strength:

Nice appearance, and helps holds the road great.

Weakness:

Harsh ride. Bump stops reduced to half there size, just to have any play at all.

Put them on my 91 Eagle Talon AWD, it was just too uncomfortable. I thought at first that the product who loosen over time. That was not the case. Recommended for vehicles who primary purpose is to race. After using for about six months, I put the new OE springs back on.

Strength:

Aggressive lowered stance, improved handling, firmer ride

Weakness:

firmer than stock ride

I have a set of H&R sport springs with Bilstein shocks. The overall ride is firmer than stock, but still tolerable. I didn't get the drop I wanted in the front, so I changed the stock spring pad to a thinner DOT-1 one - easy for Mercedes. It provides the car with great cornering abilities - I highly recommend these springs, but with upgraded shocks as well!

The H&R's are the best springs you can get to go with Tokico's! H&R makes the ones from Neuspeed-FYI, and Neuspeed tags their name on it. Neuspeed now is trying to make their own and won't admit that they ever did that. H&R will tell you that. Would you buy springs from a company that lies?

Weakness:

None

The Best!! Has not saged yet like other brands that I have see do on friends cars!! i.e. Sprin*.

Nice lowered stance, agressive look, better cornering and overall handeling.

Weakness:

none yet

I was looking for a drop on the CRX and came accross H&R Springs, they had a good review so I desided to give em a chance, Priced significatly less than eibach or neuspeed, they give a nice ride. I am quite impressed with them. I would recomend H&R to any one looking for a set of Lowering springs.

Not the greatest since sliced bread but deffinatly worth 170$ !
