Strength:

ride quality and nice looking drop

Weakness:

!!THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE MAKES A LOUD NOISE WHEN DRIVING OVER ANY LITTLE BUMP!!!

this is my second summary. After using these springs in my car for six months I am satisfied with the ride quality. They dropped my car 2.3" and 2.0" but for some reason the rear makes a weird clanking noise. Thinking about changing them to H&R sport.

I DONT KNOW ABOUT ANY OTHER CARS, BUT THE HONDA ACCORD MAKES A LOT OF NOISE IN THE REAR.

None so far.!!!!!!!!! Way better that tokiko & Skunk2 coilovers that I have in my 1994 civic, But that baby is all porformance so I dont mind the bumpy ride.

I was looking for some springs for my wifes 1996 Accord. I must of looked at 10 different companies. Since all she cared about was a big drop and a smooth ride, I crossed off some of the companies. My final choices were S.T. and H&R Springs. I finaly chose Suspension Techniques because of what i read on this website, People said that they liked S.T. and only wished they were a little stiffer, and bingo thats what I was looking for , a soft spring, not for performance but for looks. However people would say that the H&R's were super stiff. I matted the springs with KYB-GR2. And sofar so good!!!!!!!!

Strength:

For people that want the lowered look without the sacrifice of ride quality, look no further.

Weakness:

I have to say, like other reviewers, these springs could've been more stiff.

Got these installed and dropped my ride 1.3 inches or so I think. Doesn't give the car a "slammed" look, but definitely gets rid of the annoying fender gap when you install bigger rims. Looks clean. The back will bottom out sometimes if you have a heavy load in the back when you hit a bump.

Strength:

The front springs seem okay.

Weakness:

The rear springs make clanking noises and I think they're too weak for my car. It's sitting lower than it's supposed to.

Ever since installing these springs, there's been a loud clanking noise in the rear when I drive on rough roads or go over a bump. Two mechanics think it's the spring coils hitting themselves as they compress. The progressive design of these springs means the coils are touching each other at the top, and I think they're designed poorly if they make clanking noises under normal use. I installed new KYB shocks to make sure that wasn't the problem and it didn't solve it. I'd recommend getting another brand if you have an Accord.

Strength:

A nice stiff ride and overall good handling. With no other chassis stiffening systems, only sub-frame connectors the car feels pretty good on corners.

Weakness:

None...stiff,low and a great price.

A very good spring for the price. A lot of people keep saying oh they sag and suck with handling, one thing you have to remember these springs are lowering springs not competition springs for road racing, if you want to drive like an F1 driver buy comp springs like eibach pro kit and stop complaining. These springs are the best for the price i have seen the same year of car with eibach springs and mine sits lower.. it is all in what you want.

Strength:

Ease of install, powdercoated finish, low price.

Weakness:

Blew my stock shocks after a month or so of bottoming out, Illuminas are in the mail. I recommend uprading shocks soon after installing springs to avoid destroying your stock shocks.

Good springs for the enthusiast on a budget. They lowered my rex to a much more agressive stance and looked great coupled with my new wheels.

Strength:

Very good handeling qualities. Gives the car a great stance (1.3" drop).

Weakness:

Could be a bit stiffer for my taste.

For the money, an execellent value. Gradually drops the car. Immediate improvement on corners without a huge sacrifice in ride. I coupled them with Boge Turbo Gas struts & shocks.

Strength:

The drop does make the car look better even though it wasn't very much of a drop. They were also a good price.

Weakness:

Not very stiff at all. My stock springs on my rx-7 where stiffer then these things. They feel sloppy compared to my stock springs. I got less of a feel for the road.

If you all you want is to lower your car without getting a bumpy ride then these are for you. But they don't feel like they give much of an actual performance gain.

Compared to stock springs on my touring model rx-7, the suspension techniques felt more mushy.
