reliable, good power, good ride, radio etc controls are easily accessible. Th best car I have had for logic of the way the audio system operates

drivers window pillar a bit wide which results in a blind spot.

Excellent. Great car with high degree o reliability. Only had 2 minor problems . With our harsh Canadian winter, the gas cap was sticking and the windows chanels were susceptible to freeze up. Both were easily resolved.

[I hope you don''t run out of space, here]: Lighting: No fog lights, no DRLs, inadquate interior lighting, no reading lights for rear passengers, dim light in trunk, no light under hood. Transmission: Loud slapping sound when shifting from D to R or R to D(pedestrians can hear this from far away and think I am hitting other cars when I parallel park). Dashboard: No indicator light for low washer fluid (is this a Cavalier?) Ignition switch--hard to find Interior grab handles: need to be returned manually to upright position (is this a Cavalier?) Sound system: says Bose, but placement a dn number of speakers provides for inadequate results. Conveniences: No convenient place for change.

Price, standard features, acceleration. Contrary to what other''s have posted I think stereo system is great!!

I find the suspension is too stiff, it can be a bumpy ride over a bad road.

Just purchased it one week ago. I test drove both TL and TL type S. I picked Type S, because it was sporty, had move power.

Almost bought a 1999 but chose the 2000 because of the addition of a five speed transmission and side air bags. Glad I did. After two years of driving this car I still enjoy it as much as my first test drive. After about 18 months of driving the internal heating wire under the drivers seat broke resulting in a loss of heated seat. Any problems I''ve had have been covered by the warranty. Probably will be an expensive car to fix after warranty expires.

I decided to purchase the TL based from Acuras history of Reliability, Quality and Luxury at an affordable price. After driving the car now for over 1 year (with 27,000 on the odometer), I am over all pleased with the vehicle. Even at the base TL level (wish I would have purchased the S-Type) the car can really move. On the highway, I find myself always crusing at 80 mph and when an additional punch to pass a car is needed, it is there! The cabin toys are great (sound system could be better). If you have an extra $2500, purchase the Navi it is well worth the cash. My biggest frustration with the car (which in some peoples eyes might seem minior)is the amount of creaks and rattles in the cabin of the vehicle. The car has been returned to the dealer twice to repair this anoyance and unfortunatly will be brought back a third time because the rattles still pursist. Coming from Acura, I am really surpised that I am having this problem!

Silky smooth 5 speed triptronic transmission. Good aceleration and MPG. I feel good every time I get in this car. lots of quality car for the money. BUY ONE! Delray Acura staff is very nice to deal with.

Radio reception, higher speed cornering, looks are kind of bland on 2001 but are nicer on the 2002 and 03 model.

I looked at the TL 1999 and liked it. I however purchased a maxima SE and had nothing but trouble with electrical failures.When the Maxima had 19000 miles on it...GOODBY..and Hello 2001 TL. I would call this car near luxury ...def not luxury. It is very comfortable, has plenty of power and gets up to 27.5 MPG on the highway at high cruising speeds. The handling is adequate although it does handle like a sedan with the 16 " tires. The stereo does not compare to my Maxima Bose system and I do miss that booming base. However, it is not horrible either. The radio reception leaves something to be desired..problems that Acura does not want to address. I had some seat noise (loose clip) and sunroof noise., Both were fixed under warranty. I feel this car will live up to the honda reputation and would love to see it with 200 thousand miles plus. Like it so much my wife got a 2001 CL when her lease expired on her 98 CL.

Supreme acceleration, good handling, lots of standard equipment, best DVD navi money can buy.

Body integrity is poor - lots of rattles and squeaks. My 2000 Accord did not squeak and rattle at all, but this one does A LOT...because of this it sometimes feels like a clunker :-(

I''ve had my Type S for over a year now. I am having the exact same problems as Liaury - driver top rear is leaking wind and right rear deck is vibrating. Very disappointing aspect for an otherwise perfect vehicle.

Interior is pretty weak. Reminds me too much of my old Accord. Leather seats is not comfortable for long rides. Interior has some inexpensive items.
