Strength:
Engine, options and I could go on and on.
Weakness:
IMHO none whatsoever. One of the better cars I owned, as a matter of fact the best. Anyone who complains about this car please buy a Grand Am or Grand Prix and you will see what trouble is like. Similar Products Used: Intrepid, Sebring, Corvette (real pain in the neck) Ford you name it. |

Acura 3.2TL-S w/navi
Strength:
Performance; Value; Gas mileage
Weakness:
Torque converter lockup is a royal pain when trying to cruise 45 to 52 MPH requiring manual downshifting. Wind noise This car delivers the most bang for the buck when compared to others in its class. The navigation system is easy to use and very helpful. Onstar is great. It loves to cruise at 80+ MPH. Back roads are real fun especially twisty curves! Plenty of gadgets. I hope Honda slaps the 6 speed manual from the CL in there, it really rips! Similar Products Used: None |

Style, Speed, Sportiness, durability, best all around price, everything comes stardard, you recieve close to $3-$4000 worth of options for free and more. Great service that cares. I own a legend before and since i did they took off almost a grand off the ticketed price!Plus the ride for the passengers is amazing they can fall asleep no matter how you drive! the
Weakness:
well the interior needs some work, and the speedometer display aswell, other than that it doesn't have any weaknesses in my eyes. People say some cars are poor performers, this is not one of them this car reflects what capabilities the driver has and it will impress you or let you down. This car is beatiful, if you want a luxury car that you can get a lot of this is a must have. The car has everything you want and more with the price that won't put a dent in your bank account. I was first going to get a BWM 3 series the same day and I was getting ready to pick it up and i have a feeling in the back of my mind to check Acura so i stopped by acura before i went to pick up the BMW and i didn't leave Acura till 11 at night and i purchased the car that same day. The next day i went to BMW to get my deposit. Acura cares about the driver and their product that was one of the reasons why i choose Acura instead. BWM only cares about their sales and their price is expensive if you want the extras but Acura give you all the extras for free and a little more if you push them a little. They are very flexible with thier prices and their products are durible and long lasting. Their quality and untouched. I already own a Benz C class drove BWM's but nothing compares to an Acura in my eyes. "Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder". Make your descision. Really fun to drive. Great value.Very good gas miliage. Car is real tight even over rough roads.
Weakness:
Transmission delay shifting from R to D. If your backing into traffic, it seem like forever. Would like less wind noice, but it not a leak. It's air passing over the window glass. Maybe thicker glass or improved mirror design. I have found my TL exciting to drive. It's great on the road and around town. Gas miliage is very good. The car is the best value in it's price range.I'll be looking to replace it next year. It's been a fun car to drive for the last 45 K miles. Similar Products Used: Lincoln Town Car, Toyota Camray |

Strength:
Good looks and engine, but boring. A fast appliance.
Weakness:
Soft paint, unreliable transmission, inferior interior and exterior quality This is a handsome looking car although I am beginning to view it as a too boring to look at. This is what Domestic Quality (it used to be made in Japan) is all about, a lot of squeaks and rattles, soft paint, very cheap plastics are abundant. I am very disappointed with this car for the price I paid it should not be so low quality. I will never buy Honda again. Similar Products Used: Ford Contour,Toyota Solara |

Good Navigation system and Leather seats with heater.
Weakness:
Tranmission shift is terrible. Paint is too soft. Wind noise too high. Price is right over all with Navigation System included. Gas costs too much since it takes Premium only. Similar Products Used: Maxima |

Strength:
Good looking car, fast pick up, leather seats are in very good condition for being 4 years old.
Weakness:
Rattling noises from dash and sunroof, exterior paint is chipping on hood, rear view mirrof is sun-spotting already ($106 to replace and $50 to install), in stop-n-go traffic...very jerky. I've had my used TL for about 7 months now and had minor problems so far. I'm very worried after reading about half the reviews here about the transmission on these cars. I haven't had problems and I cross my fingers it won't happen to me. Similar Products Used: n/a |

TL-S
Strength:
-The car's power is a+. -Like I said, comfortable. I have a tall family and there's plenty of legroom in front and back. -Nav. system is very useful. -Stock Bose sound system decent enough and better than most stock systems. -The vehicle handles itself well. Take corners nicely. Brakes on a dime.
Weakness:
If it weren't for these two items, the car would rate a perfect 5: - Wind Noise. Unfortunately at highway speeds the rear windows make too much noise. You can hear the wind leaking through at the top of the windows. The noise is at a level that shouldnt' be heard from a car of this caliber. I've read about same from other owners. Dealership states they can't hear it. -Consistently squeaky driver and front passenger seats. Again, not expected from such a vehicle. I've also read about this from other owners. Dealership can't confirm condition exists. This car is my first sedan vehicle and I couldn't have made a better choice. Not only comfortable and attractive but fun to drive too! Have had no bothersome occurrences. A few minor recall visits to the dealership but Hoehn Acura make the visits seamless and quick. No regrets. |

Acura 3.2 TL
Strength:
Good looking car, with good handling and power. Black leather has held up great (compared with the leather in my mother's black 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.) Brakes and traction control system are great. Moonroof is quiet when closed or open at highway speeds. Cabin noise should be quieter at highway speeds.
Weakness:
Air conditioner is not cold enough for me. Automatic setting at 69 doesn't get it cold enough, and it sometimes freezes up when set on auto. Have not had transmission problems, other than an annoying slight "click" when shifted from neutral to drive when rolling forward. Paint on right front fender has too many chips for a car in this price range driven only 30k miles. Driver's seat has a minor squeak intermittently. Rear seat should fold down, rather than having only a ski pass through. Windshield showed streaks/film until I had the dealer replace the hoses and wipers. All in all a good car. Good car. Styling, handling, and power are good for the price of this car. Similar Products Used: 1993 Nissan Maxima. Great car. |

Acura 3.2 TL
Strength:
Good styling and handling. Fun to drive with sport shift or in automatic. All of the bells and whistles are included in the base price. Black interior leather has held up really well (compared to my mother's black leather seats on her 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee). Moonroof works great, and is surprisingly quiet at highway speeds when open. No knocks or rattles. Solid feeling car.
Weakness:
Paint on right front fender and hood is prone to chipping. Seems like the paint should be more durable (compared with my last car, a 1993 Nissan Maxima). Have not had the transmission problems that other drivers have reported. The transmission does, however, exhibit an annoying slight "click" when it is rolling forward in neutral at slow speed and then shifted into drive. The air conditioner is not cold enough. In the past, the air conditioner has frozen up on long trips in extremely hot weather when set on 69 degrees in auto mode. Windshield washer left streaks on the windshield until I had the windshield washer hoses and wipers replaced. Driver's seat sometimes squeaks a little, but the problem is intermittent. Cabin noise should be quieter at highway speeds. Radio controls in steering wheel should allow channel seek feature and ability to change bands, but it only allows the driver to change the volume and flip through the presets. A standard CD changer would have been a nice touch. A flip down rear seat would also have been nice for holding additional cargo. The ski pass-through in the rear seat armrest doesn't have much utility for a driver in Arkansas. Good car. Handling, styling, and reliability are good. Black paint shows chips on front right fender. Fun to drive with sport shift. Similar Products Used: 1993 Nissan Maxima--Was a great car for the price. |
