Strength:

Nice exterior.

Weakness:

Bad service, everything breaks and nothing gets fixed, back seat is too small, & not much trunk room.

I have had nothing but problems with this car since the first week I got it. I bought the car brand new so I know everything was fine the day I bought it. I have also recieved bad service and treatment at my local Mercedes-Benz dealership. First off my sunroof stopped working, in the middle of a rainstorm. The sunroof wouldn't close, so I had to drive it to my dealership with an umbrella hanging through the sunroof. One day I was on the freeway and my engine started shaking and the car wouldn't go over 60 mph. My back brake light went out already! My gas gauge broke. I took it into the shop for all these problems, they kept the car for 5 days. I got the car back and the sunroof still doesn't work and the gas gauge is still broken. My brake assistant light keeps going on. When they had my car at the dealership they banged up the back bumper, they tore one of my leather seats, they tore the pannel in my passanger door and now my radio doesn't go off when I turn the car off. What else could go wrong. Well I'm sick of this, even though the car is beautiful it's a piece of junk and Mercedes won't do anything about it. I'm now going to buy a Cadillac Escalade, hopefully they'll be more dependable.

Thank God I was talked out of the Jag X-Type! This is the most incrediable ride. True Class, Performance & Value. Diane @ Crown is a true professional, cleaning every speck of dust off the car while explaining the details of all the many features. This car truely handles & performs like a true Mercedes. Looks & Style are unmatchable. Comfort! Long legs fit in both front & back seats comfortably. The Bose sound system is excellent. The Sport model is the way to go! Classy, Sexy & Sophisticated. You get what you pay for, what an amazeing VALUE.

Strength:

motor,sunroof,leather,the six-speed

Weakness:

the 16 inch wheels and the power window switches.

I shopped my but off look for that great deal and I got it! I guess it helps to be in sells. I got the car with leather, 6 speed, sun roof fully loaded. The only thang I did not get with it was the 17 inch rims. But at $25,000 out the door including taxes and everything is pretty good. The car is great I luv it!!!!!!

Not front wheel drive and brake dust.

I had to be talked into buying this car. Was looking at Chrysler/Ford as a result of auto accident. I LOVE this car. Have driven most all the various offerings in the auto world at one time or another; they do not compare. Will always drive MB from now on.

Strength:

Style, comfort (leather seats only, because the fabric seat makes it cheap looking and causes static in the winter), handling, ease to manoeuvre and park, versatile fold-down backseats. Price - really an affordable luxury.

Weakness:

The plastic part of the rear window! The Kompressor engine is a bit noisy, but it's worth the compromise with the extra power you get. I won't use this car in the snow though, but that's not what it's designed for.

I bought the car for 3 months now and I am totally satisfied so far. With the 6-speed manual version, it is a really fun car to drive with great responsiveness and handling. It is one of the most powerful car on the market that is environmental friendly. It has ultra low emission labelling, with fairly good fuel economy in city, and excellent on highway. I almost got the BMW330coupe which is an even better drive, but my family thought it is not as comfortable as passengers, and the backseat is even tighter than this hatchback, and the fully loaded version cost $10000 more. I am also aware that the Japanese cars are much more reliable, but no matter how pricy they get, they just don't attract as much attention and envy as the German cars.
