with 2 10 Sony Xplod's hooked up 2 6x9 wires w/out amp. sounds tight, friends think its tight, beat out a 01-03 Ford Mustang (both 5 speed manual)and i beat N E m**********r that wants 2 try me. I keep up with V8's like i got a V8... and its only an E-tech motor (fuel eficiant v-tech), does good e-brake burn out. Easily does Uies like i'm using a bike.

gas milage with my driving. NO FRIGGEN WARRANTY, luckily after this August and get my insurance paid 4, I can save up a lil bit 2 a clutch that i fried near by Walmart and then im driving the truck in the winter, so i dont have 2 worry about front wheel driving.

This is the shiznit, N E 1 on 694, if u c a lil black 2 door h/back passin u or wants 2, get the f*** out of my way. All i do, since i have a manual, is downshift to 3rd and let-er rip, 2 80 and shift 2 4th, and let the good times roll! Oh by the way its a good idea to get GAP

Gas milage is fantastic!!! nearly 40 MPG!

SES light keeps coming on and off. But I ignore it. Parts are hard to come by. But Autozone carries everything I need for tuneups including K&N airfilter.

Really nice car. I had a 96 Saturn SL1. Has more horsepower. Interior looks pretty good. Both cars are about the same. Turns really great! I can bust out U-turns like nobody else. It doesn't handle too well on the freeway. It hates mountains.

Stero sucks cassette broke & speakers went out bought new ones. Seats to hard no back seat room for other passengers. Paint chips a lot on the hood. Car has NO power & is even more slow w/the air conditiong.Doesn't handle well in the snow or high winds. Very noisy & no resale value

This car is a piece of JUNK. Breaks squeaked from the beginning was told by dealership that's how "new" breaks are. When it was time to change break pads no auto parts store carry them I had to wait 3 days & they were the wrong break pads. Engine light flashed was told the igintion module & something else had to be fixed costing $500 & if wasn't fixed it would later be a larger problem. At 50,000 miles car just stopped off the intersate. Diagnostic test results were the timing belt went out & when that occurred it bent the valves on the cylinder head. Nobody would fix because Daewoo was bankrupt & parts are hard to get. There are only a few Daewoo dealerships in the whole state of Colorado that would fix the vechile. It was fixed under the drive train 60,000 warranty.But I was without a car for a month & there is no where to go to issue complaints. Daewoo had nothing to offer no rental car,bor reimburse for car rental NOTHING. I called Daewoo customer care & they are no help. Looking into the Colorado lemon law. Since I am a native in Colorado I enjoy the mountains & this car CANNOT handle mountains it is extremely slow. NO TRADE IN VALUE blue book value sucks owe took much to trade in.

Beware when you buy a Daewoo Lanos. I have done nothing but put money money money into this so called car since the warranty ran out.

I have had my daewoo for more then 3 years and the only problems that I have ever had are all the ones that i caused by getting into accidents. I have also found that parts for this car are very easy to get a hold of and they only take 3 days to arrive here. This car has been very dear to me and it has over 70,000 miles on it now and still no problems. to the people that can't find parts go to your local dealer thats where i have found all the parts that i need and they are all very inexpensive. it might be that i do live in a small town now and people are more helpful, but you can always try my new dealer. Denham daewoo they have said tht they will be carring daewoo parts for the next 6 yrs at the same prices.

It was true that Daewoo in Korea went bankrupt. But now, General Motors (GM) had taken over the company and they are now called GM-Daewoo. In Singapore, GM spent 2 months and SGD300,000 to renovate the entire showroom. This is the kind of money and confidence GM has for Daewoo cars. I have be a Daewoo advocate since young when my dad bought our 1st Daewoo racer. I now own 2 Daewoos. This car is value for money and has big cabins for the same C.C. category. Read a lot of reviews complaining about lack of spare parts and poor service level provided by the dealers in USA. All I can say is 'hang in there'. GM is coming to the rescue. I'd be happy to ship spare parts to you if you are unable to get them at your location. I am doing this to win back some smiles from the unhappy drivers and because I really like Daewoo's car.
