knowing it got Half a star out of 5 for safety it dosnt rlly feal as if im driving a royce, it does feal very plasticy and unsafe.

This beats most small cars on the road, pretty gutsy, looks nice, havnt had a problem, I recomend this car as a good females car. Good valua for money.

I can hear the sound of the engine when I'm driving( too high,too noise).
just one trouble...I changed the airbag's sensor that was done by dealer(No charge for it.)but the Customer Service of the dealer(Daewoo of Miami) is Suck! I got a hard Time whit them...

i love the unique look of this little car. It's not meant for racing but it still has a little kick when you wouldn't expect it. A little tint on the windows, lower it, shiny chromo wheels, blue fog lights and you've got yourself a pimped out little Daewoo. it's a cute car

acceleration could be better but hey- this isn't a race car

hell yes. i love this little car and hope to upgrade someday to a larger model

drives much better than a Honda Insight I tested before the Daewoo. Comfortabel seating for the front passenger. very pleased withe the car. The only thing I worry about is the continuring troubles of the Dawoo Corp.

Better than Toyota Echo & MUCH better than Ford Festiva

The car is very economical, gives good miles per gallon, and it is dependable, I've owned it for almost two years now and it has never let me stranded. About a year ago I since I saw how well it was coming out to be I decided to start upgrading the cars performance aspect. I lowered with suspension kits and I added an intake air system, I also added a racing muffler, it got about a 35 hp boost. I like fast cars but I dont have the money but where I live, with only 12 or 13 thousand dolars, you can only pick between The Lanos SX, the Mitsubishi Mirage, and Toyota Echo, the pick is the Daewoo Lanos, with more options for less money I had to go with it.

Willing to upgrade many parts of the car as headers, and flairs, I have little choices becausethe parts are hard to find. Every upgrade I have done has been adapted from parts made for other cars, the suspension is for the lanos but the racing pods for holding the tach. and the fuel/air gauge had to be adapted from an Honda Civic.

To resume all I have said, in a place like Puerto Rico where a young man like me want's to get a dependable and affordable car, without having to compromise style, or commodity I pick the Lanos SX as a strong choice. Seeing what a difference the rcing muffler, intake, and suspension did, I am considering later on exploring the cars limits by installing a turbo kit that a performance parts shop is building for a Lanos they will race at drag strips. I am very happy to own a car that is depenbable, affordable, and can still smoke Mitsubishis, Toyotas and some Hondas.

I used to own a 1994 Mazda MX-3 but it didn't have the same power and road handling my Lanos SX has gotten thanks to the racing springs I installed. Compared to my other cars a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix SE it is a money saver when it comes to gas and miles.

I love the look of the car - sexy from the front and cute from behind. Handles well and accelerates well too. Stereo is good. Very good value for money.

My breaks squeak sometimes and you can here a draft in the doors when driving fast on the motorway.

Overall I am very happy with the car and would recommend it to anyone. The weaknesses can be overlooked as they are not major worries

Not bad speed, comfy inside, loads of room in the back, stereo is good, can turn it round on a £1 coin. Good customer service. Plenty of response from the accelerator.

Dints TOOO easy, squeeky brakes (but they work good), not a good looking car with that long bonnet and a bonnet grill that looks like Krusty the Clown high on pot!

Overall it's a nice car. If I changed those big daft black bumpers and put some custom kit on, it'd be VERY nice. However, I can't drive mine - cost me £4000 to insure, because I have 8 points! (what a rip off).

This small car has lots of inside room fits three friends good. Gets good on gas. A nice college car.I am getting heads turned my way where ever I go. A sproty look to it.

Breaks are a little squeeky. My dealer told me the breaks would stop squeeking after a couple of days but they still squeek. The car also came with bad front tires. The back tires where good but the front ones were worn out.

overall I would recomend this car. The Daewoo Lanos is a new look for people who want to get something diffrent from everything else. I love this car and so dose everyone else people I don't know ask me questions about it all the damm time.

Everything. the look, the style, and the handeling.The room and the milage.

The breaks.They squeak so I took it back to the dealer and they said it was just break dust and would just quit after a bit. Well,they cleaned them and it stopped. Three days latter they are squeaking again.

I am happy with this little car, and I would reccommend it to anyone in college or anyone who has to commute.I also believe that this little car is
a breath of fresh air and is creating a whole class.If it wern't for the breaks, this would be a perfect little car.
