Strength:

The strength of the 3.5 engine is awsome, I have upgraded with a chip and have a great sounding catback system. I like surprising little punks in their hooked up rice burning hondas at red lights, when the green hits and all they see is my beatuful rearend pulling away from them .

Weakness:

All and all the engine has been very reliable but, Man it eats water pumps more than it gulps gas!

Very roomy car, handles like a sport coupe, and I like how people in smaller cars get out of the way when they look in their rearview mirrors and see my bus closing in fast.

Weakness:

Really all I have for this are the small minor repairs, that mysteriously fix themselves.

I bought the Intrepid on impulse while looking at a convertible Pontiac. Got no warranty whatsoever with it, and paid for it outright. 4 words.....I LOVE THIS CAR!! I`ve only had a few MINOR problems, but what do you expect from a car with 120,000 miles on it. All I`ve had done is brakes, tires, and a tranny line replaced. Only other maintenance is oil changes, plugs, etc....usual upkeep. One concern is that when the weather turns cold, it won`t go into reverse or shift until it warms up. Haven`t had that problem since replacing tranny line. The car has EXCELLENT acceleration, and GREAT passing power. It handles VERY well for a large family car. I like to pretend it`s a Camaro. :) I really feel for the poor folks who have had bad experiences with their cars, but with the number of them that I see running around every day, not ALL of them are bad. Did I mention the car`s looks? STUNNING. I have no problems with the paint peeling. The panels behind the rear doors was coming loose, but a spare screw fixed that. The trunk does leak a little water through the seal. As far as interior, the car is very roomy and comfortable. I love it for long trips as well as a QUICK spin around the block. I fixed the problem of a radio with my own aftermarket window rattling, heart stopping, ear splitting, migraine causing stereo system. The controls are easy to reach and the car drives very smooth.

Strength:

wide....roomy ....and still some get up and go....

Weakness:

the airconditioning doesnt work...and there is constantly a problem with the fans that cool the engine....the paint is coming off in huge 1 foot patches....have had the front end fixed 2 times and there is still a clunk under there....it has so many recalls....the seat ...the frontend...and the dealers are not of any help they do not tell you about the recalls...or offer anyrelief from the obvious factory defected paint job!!! the transmission lines have been replaced and are still leaking....the mouldings on the windows and the slow electric windows....the temperature control is hot or hotter and the air doesnt work there are silent recalls that the dealers here will not honor

I loved my car when I got it it handled so nice and drove so smooth and it really had some guts! There was plenty of room for the kids and lots of seatbelts even in the the back there are shoulder straps even in the back seats. it was so pretty i had to have it! But the problems came soon after buying it one after another. i would love to have this car minus the problems!!!!

Everything about it is good and strong

The only complaint I have is the headlights do absolutly nothing to help you see at night.

I have hade this car for about a year and a half and had no problems at all. My paint still has a showroom shin and the engine runs the day it came off the assembly line with 135,000 on it and the transmission I have done regular repairs as well as the brakes twice but what can you expect its a big heavy car for all you people whining grow up and face the facts its one of the best cars in its class on the road!!

Roomy

Weakness:

Engine sludges easy compared to others.

Do not buy any Dodge Intrepids with the 2.7 liter Engine. They are having Major problems. That is from a " off the record comment " from a mechanic who works there. Family Dodge of Philadelphia handles service very poorly by my opinion.

Great horsepower Smooth ride Good Gas Mileage Lots of extras without the extra price

Weakness:

I haven''t really found any!!

One drive and I knew I wanted this car! It was exceptional.. Not only is it roomy enough for my family to ride comfortably.. but its also very stylish on the road! I drive 500 miles a week back and forth to work and my car gets great gas mileage! Its very affordable to own and drive! I couldn''t be happier with my purchase! I have pretty close to the basic model and my car still has lots of features including electric seats and a cd player! I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, stylish ride!

Strength:

Styling, power, interior room, stereo system, this car car stand out. The price was right too. I read an article that dodge plans on producing a rear wheel drive police version soon.

Weakness:

Haven''t found too many. The back may be a little hard to see out of and the fuse box cover is broken. We live in a cold climate and the winter option package would be nice (includes a block heater I think) because the engine and tranny groan a bit when starting on 7far. mornings. My other vehicle is an Isuzu so maybe anything looks good.

The wife and I immediately bought this car after test driving it. That''s pretty amazing considering that we went to the dealship to buy a new Durango. The car is luxurious and has almost everything. It handles well on icy roads despite the fact that the tires were bald when we bought it. (It was a rental with 21,000 miles). Over all the styling of the car is stunning and the 3.2 V6 is has great pickup. I only regret not test driving a 3.5 liter RT model. This interior is all leather with power seats and it has an infinity stereo system. The car is so huge inside that you could fit 10 people in it. We have owned the vehicle a short time, but we are very pleased with it and we love to drive it. in the car if you had to.

Strength:

very reliable, roomy, big trunk, great gas mileage.

Weakness:

bad paint, interior parts break easily (I''ve had to replace all of the air conditioning knobs), slow electric windows, door moldings are coming off.

I have had this car for 4 years and it has never had a day of problems as far as the way it runs. I love this car. The biggest problem is the paint. All of the sudden, it will just start peeling off. This car has 94000 miles and I still feel that it is very reliable.

Strength:

good highway miles, nice interior and plenty of room.

Weakness:

the brakes do seem to wear pretty easy. I have to replace mine every 50,000 miles.

I have owned this vehicle for three years and have been more than satisfied. I currently have 144,000 miles on it and the engine is still very strong. It does have minor repairs needed every so often, but what car doesn''t?
