Strength:
All electical works. runs well enough for short sprints to the store.
Weakness:
Motor could fail at any moment. Station wagon, Paint peeling, drivers seat back supported by a 2X4, bad bearing in motor. 175,000 miles. Would have passed inspection except for the rear sway bar is missing? Similar Products Used: 65 Pont Tempest, 66 Merc comet, 67 Ford Farlane, 96 Olds Cutlass |

Strength:
interior room and front bench seats.
Weakness:
this has got to be the worst transmission ever! had it rebuilt at 70k and it's bucking hard again at 127k so it's due for another rebuild. this tranny's weaker than my dodge truck! (which is pretty weak!) will never own another ford or dodge. next work car will be a chevy lumina. trunk also too small. car was bought with 37k and used for delivery work. bought because i had to have a cheap car to offset my '95 3000gt vr-4. Taurus LX Wagon
Strength:
Powerful engine, lots of extras for the price. Still a good looking car even at eight years old. Lots of interior room.
Weakness:
QUality, dependibilty. Ride rough for a larger car. Eats front rotors. I like the look of this car and LOVE the power of the 3.8L engine, but disappointed with the quality. We bought it after we were hit and our Canry wagon destroyed. Went through alot of repairs for the first two years but seems to be holding up now. Similar Products Used: 81 Camry Wagon |

Ford Taurus L Station Wagon
Strength:
lots of power, never needed work and I drove it hard being a teenager, great with gas, great with room, very strong and definitely reliable I don't really know what else to say except that this is the best car I've owned.
Weakness:
none just the fact that once it was totaled by a lady running a red light and my air bag popped out thats it nothing else I traded in my Honda Accord for this car. I had no problems with it, didn't sink a dime into it except for any upgrades I wanted myself (floormats, CD player, etc.) The car ran well and had tons of power, great on gas, seats many people (once had 10), you can haul anything in it. As a teenager I actually liked driving this station wagon as well as all of my friends and fiancee. I would reccommend this car to anyone, in fact I'm working my way on my second one as well as my fiancee's mother is now buying one. My dad wants to trade in his Buick Park Ave Ultra for a 91 Taurus and he just bought it. Similar Products Used: my new 1990 Ford Taurus GL Station Wagon |

Ford Taurus GL
Strength:
Handling, smooth and quiet ride, all around comfortable car.
Weakness:
Engine is a little week for a car it's size. Have had this car for almost 3 months and I can so far say it is the best car I've owned. When I bought it, it had well over 100,000 miles on it, but you would never know by driving it. Just started a family and it is a wonderful family car, plenty of room and loads of trunk space. I drive daily about 70 miles a day roundtrip to work and back and it drives wonderfully on the daily trips, very comfortable. So far, I love this car and am seriously considering buying a newer one in a year or two. Similar Products Used: 2001 Mazda Protege 1998 Chevy Cavalier 1990 Chevy Corsica |

Strength:
Very comfortable for long drives. Very reliable. Easy to drive. Never left me stranded and always started.
Weakness:
Vulcan v6 a little weak soso gas mileage Had a mustang gt and wife having baby, needed 4 door car. saw it at dealer and was in cherry condition with 48000 miles. Bought car and with 80600 miles we got ran over by a very large truck on the freeway, then spun out and was hit by another car doing 65 mph. Most of the car was trashed. Just by looking at the outside of car you would think someone was killed. but no one even had a scratch. If you care about safety this is a great car to have. In 80000 miles I replaced 1 o2 sensor, a battery and 1 brake job. Other than that just normal maint. Even after the wreck it still ran like a jewel. None found yet. Just purchased this car. Trade a 2002 Honda Accord with terribel seats. Drove the Taurus and just love it. Great ride, quite, handles great and has excellent seats. The DOHC Duratech V6 runs great and provides excellent gas mileage so far. Similar Products Used: 1994 Ford Ranger |

Strength:
Everything! The Brakes, the steering, the acceloration, and mostly, the spacious interior!
Weakness:
No 26 rims :( Wow, this car was great! Perfect handling! The Anti-lock Brakes were perfect, braking instantly, better than most cars I have drove. The 350 HP was amazing. 0-60 in seconds. All you mothers out there, watch out this is no longer a family vehicle, ITS A STREET RACER! The rims that come with it are 24s, they add a lot to it. I recommend this for a first car, last car, ANY CAR! Similar Products Used: 67' Corvette Hummer H2 |
