Strength:

precise steering, agile, sporty driving feel, controlled ride, good interior and exterior styling, VTEC engine, reliability

Weakness:

all season tires that have no traction in rain and light snow, too much roll and dive, FEELS sporty to drive only, numb steering feel, A/C sap too much power, some interior rattles, not the smoothest auto tranny in market

I recommend it. It is a competent car for those who wants both comfortable and performance driving experience.

Strength:

It's reliability, the equipment, a powerful engine and low fuel consumption
It does't need much manteinance. The doors are not noisy and the engine sonds great! It's high quality finish and advanced technology for its age.

Weakness:

I can say that the painting is going away and the power windows are very slow.

I Highly recommend this car, it looks better than any other car of its age, the engine didn't give me any problem since I bought it. I can travel with few gasoline and It've never left me in the middle of the road or in the city. I want to sell it only to buy a new one, because the features that includes the present model.
In one line I can say: It's a great car

Strength:

This is a great car!!! The Honda 1.8 is one of the longest running, trouble-free engines i have ever seen. For being a hatchback, it's pretty spunky and quick w/the 5-speed. And being an LX we've got COLD A/C too!!!

Weakness:

The car is 2/3 bondo... doesn't like road salt obviously! Parts are very expensive, if you need to get it from the dealer. (Bearing job cost $200 in PARTS and I did it myself!)

Obviously, you can get one this old real cheap, and for the money, it will be a car that will last a long time. (Mine has 200k and still going strong)
highly recommended unless it needs wheel bearings!!!!

Even though it looks like a chevette, it's WAY, WAY better. Chevettes are crap, but not Hondas, this car has never left me stranded.

Strength:

Comfortable, smooth, good performance for its price, interior is made with precision compared to Domestic cars ,extremely reliable so far,no big defects

Weakness:

the rear defroster is too slow, the 4 cylinder engine is really choppy and doesn't have good acceleration, no Traction control for any 2000 models,

I would reccomend the HOnda accord if you want a nice looking car that beats all other competitors at styling, and it is extremely dependable if you complete regular maintenance. Dont be fooled Domestic cars aren't that bad as long as you maintain them they are just as good as Foreign, but performance isn't any good and if you want a good Accord expect to spend at least 22k for the EX

Model Reviewed: Accord EX V6

Strength:

Excellent build quality throughout. Powerful V6 engine. Smooth transmission. Good ergonomics. Extensive features included with EX trim. Very reasonable price for what you get.

Weakness:

Manual transmission not available with V6.

If you are looking for a sedan, and want a reliable, well equiped but fairly priced vehicle with good performance, then the Accord EX V6 might be the one you seek. The engine is smooth and responsive, this car accelerates from 65mph to 85mph easily. The car handles well in all weather conditions, including snow. Interior build quality is excellent. Features included with the EX V6: AC, cruise, Honda security alarm, sunroof, leather, 6 disc CD changer, 8-way driver seat adjust, climate control, automatic transmission, ABS, traction control, air bags, and floor mats!

Hey GM, Ford, Chrysler, "Wake up!"

Strength:

all the power features, top of line fully loaded. Never gave me any trouble.Liked the power for a 4cyl engine. High revs gave a nice response. Love the shape of it. really easy to costomize.Handled great for a 4 door.

Weakness:

power windows on driver door would go out of the window and not in the proper place. didn't like the way it did on the ice(considering got me in an accident the 1st day) other than that had no problems.
Most likely due to the length of time I had it.

I would definatley recomend this car but if I were you get a set of snow and ice tires if driving it through the winter. It gets bad out there. this car cost 6500 and had 177kms on it my mechanic said it was in great condition. they are not that hard to find and are known for there reliability so I think there a safe bet. Good car for all age groups.

Model Reviewed: /Honda Accord LX

Strength:

It's handling, performance, comfort and overall quality feel are its main attributes.

Weakness:

Unlike its U.S. competitors, you'll pay extra on some Honda models for little things that are not included in an options package -- like mud guards, pin stripes and an ash tray.

This is a surprisingly comfortable car and just plain fun to drive. It's the most driver-friendly sedan I've ever owned. Honda's reputation for reliability and quality were important considerations in my decision. Plus, my son drives a Civic coupe with 107,000 miles on it (his second Civic) and kept me nudging me to try the Accord. For once, I listened to him, and I'm glad I did. I did a fair amount of research before I started shopping and all signs pointed to the Accord. I was impressed by the professionalism of the salesman and the dealership, light years ahead of other car dealers. I'm a veteran car buyer and this was a 5-star car-buying experience.

Similar Products Used:

I test drove the Pontiac Grand Prix (twice), the Olds Alero (twice), the Olds Intrigue (twice), the Chrysler Sebring sedan and the Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Then, I drove the Accord. The handling, peppy performance of its 4-cylinder engine and well designed interior were immediately apparent. The feel of the Accord was superior. And, from my perspective, it's simply a more attractive car. Hey, nothing wrong with a little curb appeal.

This car is one of the most responsive, smoothest riding, well made vehicle's on the market.

Weakness:

I like everything so far!!!

I have always been a Chevrolet person. I've had everything from camaro's to extended cab pickups. Honda has blown every one of these vehicle's away. In my family there have been Maxima's, Camry's, 4-Runners, Cherokee's, etc purchased. Honda blows them all away. They really make a great reliable product. The dealerships no how to treat there customers also!!! GM and Ford should take notice!!! Bravo Honda!!!

Strength:

A lot of pep and a very solid car bumper to bumper. Easy to change oil filter.

Weakness:

Not all that comfortable on a trip. Dash dimmer switch needs relocated. Very poor tilt wheel. We drive with it in the upmost position. Need to put lever to slide driver's seat back on the door side so you can slide the seat back prior to getting in the car. Would be nice to have a temperature gauge to tell the outside temperature and a compass as options or standard on the EX.

Very good car for the money.

Strength:

No plastic molding lines in the map pockets, manufactured excelently, incredibly quiet,6 disc in-dash cd changer very good, radio is easy to use, comfy, great handling, huge trunk room (my sister,my friend and i can all fit inside), sunroof is great and it doesn't leak water, and no squeeks or any unexpected noises. It also feels really solid and the 4 airbags make me feel very safe.

Weakness:

It doesn't include rear mud guards. If i bought some honda ones it would cost $82 cnd to get them. I'ts also a target for bird crap. Otherwise it has no problembs at all.

It's a great car and there is nothing wrong with it except the fact that it doesn't include rear mud guards that are hell expensive. So go out and buy one. (Bring $82 cnd to get those mud guards. You'll want them.)
