Model Reviewed: Accord EX Coupe

Strength:

Great engine. fast car. Incredible premium sound system. Great gas mileage. Great car for only 123k when bought. The car is quiet and has good acceleration. Tops around 110 mph for me but overall has good top speed. Great car to soup up too.

Weakness:

Shift knob is a little tight when moving out of park gear. Driver door handle frame borke and was replace though.Nothing else really

I have loved this car the day i bought. I will never buy another American made car again because they are CRAP, all of them. Nothing beats Japanese made autos. Can get from 0-60 in 11secs and rpms are high which sounds good and isnt hard on engine either.

Model Reviewed: V-6 EX

Strength:

Quiet, features.

Weakness:

Power, just a Honda. aotumatic should be have five speeds, shorter gears and give you a little more torque in the lower rpms.

All I can say is that I wish I had a Maxima. The only reason why I didn't get one is because I've had more trouble than I should have had with them and since I'm gonna be doing the family thing I need to get something reliable. Enter the honda V-6.
It does some things well and and some things not so well. The well things are: Handling and ride, a quiet smooth engine. Braking is good but the last car I had is notorious for horrible brakes so maybe they're just normal. It has a nice feature package as well, although mine has the wood trim option but to get the wood trim around the stereo you have to buy it seperate. Go figure. It's like they should have said "most of the wood trim" in the feature list. The not so well things are: The seats are not that comfortable. It's like you just sit on top of them and not in them. Maybe that's due to them being brand new, who knows.
The 6 disc changer has played flawlessly but the sound is horrible. I don't know who they get to design stock car audio stuff, but obviously they are clueless. There is too much mid bass which makes voices and instruments very muddy the radio reception is horrible. It's all getting ripped out anyway. Stereo's and cup holders are a given to be replaced in every car.
Power. I can't believe Honda calls it a V-6. It's very gut less, has no torque and, and is a slug off the line and in traffic. It doesn't shift down unless you slam down on the gas and then it just takes a second to wake up and go. My maxima was instant and quick and powerful feeling. It threw your head back no matter what speed you were doing when you punched it. The Honda is 10 years newer and has 10 more horses than my maxima but you could never tell. My mom's ten year old 4 cylinder Probe can beat it.
This is definetly not a performance sedan. But for me that's probably a good thing with kids on the way. The last bad thing is that is just a honda. Nothing special just a $28,000.00 car that gets no looks, and no respect. Non matter how much I'll dress it up it'll still be a honda. A generic car.
All in all it's a good car that will hopefully be reliable cause that's why you buy a honda right? Too bad it's the only reason.
