I really like the new styling. I can't wait till the after market products come out for the new model. There is tons of room in the trunk and more space inside the car. The shifter doesn't shake when the car is on! The clutch is very soft and easy to use. Good stock sound system in the car. The high spoiler, skirt, fog lights, and silver plates around the controls and shifter!

127 horses ! Honda should of kept the sir engine. No power in the 3rd + gears. A little noisy on the high way.

Overall, I love my new civic si. Without it fully loaded i wouldn't of purchased the car though it looks to plain. (skirts, spoiler etc..) Black is the colour to get because it looks the best. I've seen a goldish one and i almost threw up. The power is a bit lacking but nothing a supercharger can't take car of. Besides it is quick enough if i had a faster car i'd have my licence suspended. Honda if you are reading this PLEASE come out with some after market products for the 2001 year! GREAT CAR!

I have owned my 90 Civic HB since 96 and still love the car till this day. The car was originally an automatic DX and I converted it to a 5speed with a ZC engine. The car feels pretty quick now and always fun to stomp the pedal. The auto was pretty slow. I have driven newer Hondas and they just dont have the excitement of the older Hondas.

This is the most reliable car that I have ever owned. I am quickly rolling up on 200,000 miles and all I need to do is put gas in the tank and keep the oil changed. I bought my first civic in 1992 and won't even dream of buying anything else.

Poorly designed cup holders are my only complaint. I do not like to remove cups just to get change out of the ashtray.

This is a wonderful car. Bulletproof reliability, sharp styling. I need to trade to a newer model someday, but I am not able to part with this car. I would, and often do recommend Honda to everyone I know.

The VTEC is great, I love the body style, it is very comfortable and has excellent acceleration and easy turning.

THE CUPHOLDERS SUCK!!! They are some weak plastic things that everything falls out of. The breaks sometimes squeak while backing-up, and the acceleration is not too good when the A/C is on.

The car is excellent, I have never had any problems since I have had it. I look to keep using this car for quite some time, or maybe upgrade to a newer model, but I am staying with the Civic model.

Any upgrades to your car...give it torque or speed. Even just an intake and exhaust job can raise your horsepower by 20 hp..per say. Anyways..its handling is pretty good. I don't think its that bad.

I think this is a great car. I mean given to me at about 130hp..now has about...lets see...250hp...hmm...head job, intake, exhaust single to double over head cam. Eh... What else??? oh yeah the turbo kit and the nos kit helped but then again the pigs gave me the biggest mother ........ticket i ever.........recieved. Anyways..its a great car.

This is follow up to review posted some 4 weeks ago . have had the 2001 Civic lx coupe for just over 1 month now and can surely say that im glad i went the Honda route . This is a well built/assembled machine. Fit and finish is tops . After 30 plus days , and some good road trips , this car keeps gettin just a little bet better due to break in ( not break down !). Gas mileage is excellent 35 plus mpg. Breaks are good , steering accurate, transmission ( 5 spd ) is like snap fast - one of the best in the business. Got my coupe Lx in the midnight black - great metallic paint finish - very fine speckles of blue,red,pink! . Seats are comfy and dash layout is simple and well executed . Trunk space is very good in this size of vehicle. Folks at Kingston Honda are top notch , great bunch in sales and service!Purchased Motegi Racing Alloys for the car in 16 x 7 and sticky rubber - really adds to look and feel - lots of folks lookin twice !

great visibility, center council, great cd player, and speakers are loud enough for me,lots of trunk space, excellent gas milage, keyless entry, nice headlights, heat cranks, strong a/c. overall very smooth ride, reliable. not bad in snow like most small cars. tight turns. mirrors above driver and passenger seats. great car for its price. nice simple dashboard with a compartment under the stereo for cigs and lighter. pretty spacious for a small car. lots of little compartments to hold things.

cupholders suck, no ashtray, must turn off a/c when accelerating quickly. outside body seems to be made of tinfoil

I have 45,000 miles on my 99 honda, and I have not had one mechanical problem with it. The original brakes are still running strong. I suggest this car to anyone who doesn't know much about mechanics. All you need is an oil change every 3 thousand miles. This is a great car for the females.
