Strength:

Love the take off with the new engine which was installed before i bought it. Overall stance and look of the car. Dependability, and gas mileage.

Weakness:

Stupid little Sun visors and weird placed cup holders.

I recommend it because of its low price, not many people own one since they were only made from 93-97, and great gas mileage, and cornering fun

Strength:

Practical 2 seater. Sounds like an oxymoron eh? But the reasonable sized trunk is deep and holds way more than 1 wk of grocery, guitars, snowboards ....

Hardtop means you don't have to crank the heat up all the way in winter and still have frozen hair. It's extremely easy and quick to put on / off as well. Also, once it's in the trunk, it takes up minimal space and you can even flip it up/down to access your trunk too!

Handling is great, looks good and is damn reliable.

Shifter's one of the best in class.

Once you close all the windows, it drives like a car with a big sunroof open.

Weakness:

Squeaks squeaks squeaks. But that's unavoidable for any targa top / convertibles. Even the Porsche targa's squeak after a few years.

Power- there's no low end torque, like any Honda. It's somewhat compensated by the exciting high end (VTEC) but still, low end punch is more useable.

I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys the wind in the face feeling in the summer, but can't afford an alternate car for the winter ... It's not a true sports car, but it's pretty close to one. And the harder you drive it, the more you get out of it.

Similar Products Used:

Miata. Miata handles better cos it's a RWD car .... that's a true roadster but the unfortunately the trunk is also small like one ... interior is tiny and it's pricier too.

IT has great hanling and speed. The roof comes off and the back window rolls down. It actually goes through the mud quite well!!!!! I've drove through more mud then my friend Ford Ranger 2wd truck. It looks awesome!!!!

Weakness:

None

It handles good in both mud and on the road and outprforms most other cars. It is definitly a cool looking car. It is unique and every time ones totaled there one less so if u have one hold on to it and it will be a collectors car someday. I paid my brother 3000 but he cut me a great deal if u find one for 5500 take it its well worth every penny.

Strength:

Reliability, and easy to get attatched to. Driving other cars is awkward after having this thing for seven years. Gas mileage is great, and at 180,000 miles, it runs like the day I brought it home.

Weakness:

Slight leaking with the roof during a heavy rain. A little more pickup would be nice, but I knew what I was getting when I bought it.

Basically this car is a great car if you are looking for great mileage, and low operating cost per mile. I drive a 110 mile commute each day, and never worry whether I will make it or not. On a tank of gas, I average about 350-380 miles on 10 gallons. This seems to be one the best cars I have ever owned as far as keeping a straight line on the interstate also. The steering feels tight, right down to the linkage and all. Once at highway speeds, this car has no problems keeping up at 80+. Seems the higher the revs, the better the responsiveness of the motor. The trunks has always kept me satisfied, it is BIG.

I previously owned a Miata. At 6'3, I quickly outgrew the miata however. My head would touch the top.

Electric roof is trick, fast sporty sounding car, easily modifiable, outclasses cars with bigger engines

Weakness:

leaky roof, shell is flimsy when roof off, distributors known to fail causing the timing belt to jump

Buying my honda was the best decision I have made there is nothing better than driving with the roof down with the engine singing to you

Quickness, sprortiness, reliability. I haven't had mechanical problems at all. Trunk space. Mileage is great. absolutly love it.

Weakness:

leaking roof

I love the car because it is beautiful and a collectors item with time. The car can age and still lood great. You can also fix it up and there are many items out there for it. I have intake and exhaust on my del sol and it added more power to it. It is a great car.

Strength:

Great fun, speed, looks, reliable, gas mileage, rare but still easy to get parts since it shares the 99-00 civic si engine which is more popular, only 12,000 dohc vtecs ever made, soon to be a collectors item

Weakness:

Blind spot, small sun visor, windshield and windows have a tendency to fog, no one else has mentioned it but I found that it is terrible in the winter mostly probably do to the high revs, high revs can be annoying especially on the through way if it was 6 speed that would be gone

This car is just great has everything you could possibly want except if you have more then 2 people in that case thats when you use your second car. For me I got a SUV for winter and for caring more people and the del sol for when its nice out.

Strength:

Just a fun little buggy to drive. Good handling, very comfortable. Lot's of trunk space---I can fit into it!! Eye stopper--gals of all ages stare!

Weakness:

Little more power, although mine is automatic. Little hard for me to get into--5'11".

Like the car, no problems, however since my back operation, got to sell it. It has no dents/rust, top DOESN'T LEAK, everything on it is cherry except the color is aqua--orig--no problems--it shines like new. No mods have been done to it. Due to it's condition 9,000 is the firm price.
