Aerodynamic look (still sexy even today)
Speed and power
Road handling

Weakness:

Minor ones and bearable

Used to be my everyday car, but after all those years, I'm still keeping it as my favourite second car. It's built to last, and European manufacturers should really get one, tear it open, and learn hard from the Japanese for quality and reliability!

Driving it is fun in almost any road conditions, and although it's such a quiet car, the vivid engine is always tempting you to speed! Really enjoy it and let's applaud Mazda for the great workmanship.

Strength:

Speed, style, engine, comfort, and fun to drive.

Weakness:

Weak clutch, somewhat poor power accessories such as power windows, and power sunroof.

This car is lots of fun and gets looks from everone when I race down the street. When I see the possibilities of what can be done with the car, it astounds me. I get so excited thinking that it could possibly be mine. Sometimes when I drive the clutch has a little trouble but nothing serious. Overall, it has been well worth the money.

This car handles much better than most other cars I have driven. Although you feel most of the bumps in the road, it still is pretty comfortable. This car takes turns very well and is small overall size but still has quite a bit of room for two people but any more is just cramped.

Weakness:

Cramped, weak clutch, bumpy ride

This is a great car. Although it is cramped it is very sporty and fast. I own the 4-cylinder version and with just that it is quick. It gets a lot of looks and the girls love it. It has 130,000 miles on it right now and still runs great. not to long ago the transmission burned up in it but thats only because it had 130,000 miles on it. Modifications include: new exhaust, stereo system, and a new transmission. I recommend this car to anyone. I have a lot of fun with mine.

Model Reviewed: mx6 LS 5spd

Strength:

power, handling, quiet ride, responsiveness to mods

Weakness:

paint on hood&spoiler, ride could be smoother but i'd rather better handling

n stock form, the MX6 has enough power to beat most cars on the road. It was built at a Ford
factory used with primarily Mazda parts, however Ford had some chemical imbalance when painting
them and therefore, the paint's clear coats is gone quickly. My hood and sunroof are fading in areas
and I have crows feet on my hood. It is actually pretty minor compared to what Ive seen.

Other than that, the car is great. It doesnt rattle like some cars. Even in stock form, the handling is
great. If you tend to race your car, with just a new clutch and fuel pump, the MX6 is very nitrious
happy and will work well with it.

I would suggest this car to anyone looking for a fairly quick car that won't kill you on insurance. I
have owned mine for almost a year and have had no problems with it. And if you like the looks of
the Probe GT more or if you dont care, I would buy the Probe. Its pretty much identical but usually
about 20% cheaper.

Strength:

The look of the car, especially with the bra on. the handling , the speed, the looks you get while driving it, and not too shabby of a stock stereo.

Weakness:

Deffinately the transmission, i dont know about the manual, however i will probably be putting one in soon. also if you run over a pebble, you will know it.

So far I have been very impressed with my mx-6. It is usually reliable, i have had problems with the automatic transmission though. taking this car out on the back roads with twists, and hills is one of my favorite things to do. with the car already being as low as it is you can take curves at pretty good speeds without having to worry.

Strength:

The looks are great and how the car handles. I love how it has good pick up and a great engine! It's great for racing because a lot of people don't know what a MX-6 can do! I put a Magna-flow on my car and it sounds great, alot of people told me that I got a sound that a lot of performance racers look for and can never find, but I have a great sound to my car.

Weakness:

How it's hard to find stuff for my car, when trying to order things alot of places don't have alot for MX-6, I wish they could have more. The paint is also another weakness, I really don't like the color.

I love my car!! The only problem that I have had is my transmission. I've had to replace it once and hopefully no more. I have the automatic MX-6 but I still love to race and play around on it! My MX-6 has a great body and handles great! My car is off-white and wish it was another color but that will change soon. Overall, I love my car and would tell everybody to get one!

Strength:

I like the dash and instruments layout, tilt of stereo, seat design, overall appearance and sunroof.

Weakness:

Hard shift between 1st and 2nd gear (auto transmission), very little back seat room, not made for me (6'3" tall)-more head room in driver's seat, too long of shifting stick.

Really Loved the car when I bought it. Very sporty look, and makes everyone look when you drive past them. Excellent.

Strength:

I love the looks of the car! Especially with my new tint job! It is a pretty fast car and i love the way it handles. I love the looks i get when i'm driving around in my MX-6!

Weakness:

The one main thing that i don't like is the rough shifting in 1st and 2nd gear. I don't exactly know why it is happening, but i intend to find out. Also, the painting seems to want to "spyder crack" on me on the rear bumper. And the car used to hesitate on me, but i just put a little fuel injector cleaner in the gas, and it was as good as new!

This is my very first car and i must say that I LOVE IT! It runs like a dream. I haven't had many problems thus far. I love the speed of the car (even though it is stock). The looks of the car are supurb! I just put tinting on it and it looks GREAT! I would highly suggest this car to anyone who is looking for a sweet ride for a pretty darn good deal!

Back seat room, 1 cupholder (driver), radio antennae is stubborn occasionally, CV Joints, noisy HLA's when first fired

Good handling car with a nice look. I got the car with 80k miles and now has over 140k miles. Still runs great, no smoke, etc. There are many places to get parts for the MX-6, the main one being http://www.corksport.com .. I recommend everyone use Mobil 1 or Bosch Oil Filters along with synthetic Mobil 1 or Valvoline oil.
