I absolutely love this car! It is extremely reliable. Never had a recall and it was never in the shop. It has quick acceleration (manual)and is a fun-to-drive car. Handles terrific on curves. It is like riding in a cockpit.

Rear seating. I had to sell my car when I became pregnant because there was no way of fitting a car seat in the back. My antenna kept working and would rattle.

I paid about $18K for this car new in 96. My 240 was red with a manual transmission and a sunroof. I miss it everyday but the Maxima makes me feel better. I would highly recommend this car to someone without children (or grown children). My sister purchased a 96 Cavalier at the same time and paid about $17K for hers. I couldn't believe that these two cars cost about the same. My 240 was a sports car and her Cavalier was like a metro. I am so sad that they stopped making the 240SX.

Everything!!! Handles like a true sports car. Rear-wheel drive is oh so much fun! Interior is definitly for a true "driver" (no cup holders, almost no rear seat) "grippy" seats. Awesome torque - take many cars off the line and easy to get it sideways when you hit second. Don't have to rev high like a VTEC to get good acceleration. Major bonus is that there's not alot around, it's unique. Chicks love it. Lot's of aftermarket performance parts for it.

Slightly more high-end power would be nice...power fades after 5500-6000rpm. For max acceleration don't rev all the way to redline, shift just before 6000. Better factory stereo woulda been nice too...but gonna replace that soon anyways.

Front seats are roomie, but if you need lots of cargo space and want to carry more than two people....then forget about it, this is a sports car! And if you want a true sports car you have to go rear wheel drive, it just makes life SO much better. Forget about the high reving VTEC wannabe-sports-cars, you'll toast most of them in the 240, have more fun doin' it, and look better doin' it.

Although it's a 9+years old car, a fully loaded coupe with spoiler+side strips still looks much more interesting and eye catching inside and out than most new cars. excellent handling and cornering ability, best for it's price&+. Just enough pony & braking power to drive fast enough up and down Manhattan without running into a taxi or a bus(damn taxi drivers). rust free, trouble free sunroof(after years of abuse). eats very little gas and I mean very little. Lots of room for a SPORTS CAR, SO stop complaining about the backseats MAN. very reliable.

Brakes Brakes, Brakes. I still can't fix the problems. There are lots of little air bubbles in the paint which makes white dots. All kinds of eletrical problems. Just a to name a few, radio, dash(whole thing) lights etc.... The worst figure of this car is the seats. It's the most uncomfortable seat I ever sat on. What makes it worst is that there's no why to adjust it(for this year model). I don't even want to mention the cheap clothing material. I call it the backbreakers.

One of the best handling car around. If you like doing power slides and 360 in the rain(that's what people think. This is the car.

would recomend to any body who plans to become a stunt driver.I have had this car sideways and spinning so many times its pitiful.very very fun to drive especially lowered. cant wait to see what more mods do

SNOW... The worst thing for this car. Almost killed myself more than once. The weak motor is also a downside, but there are many mods available.

Well despite the fact that its a slow car, it's still awesome. The handling, styling, and interior are worth much more than the price of these cars. Since its a little slow, Im gonna invest in a turbo that will increase some 73 hp. I feel its definatley worth it because this is what will make this car PERFECT.

This car is sooo fun to drive. It handles better than every other car I have ever driven, even after 127000 miles. Taking corners at 90 or 95 is no problem, on back country roads. Tires are cheep if you order them, I got a pair of R-rated tires for $100. Very impressive acceleration, especially for a 4cyl. Many mods available. Nice looks, I get complimented all the time even though its a 92. Rear wheel drive is fun in parking lots. 4 disc brakes stop on a dime. Turning radius could not be better. The oversteer is a little hard to get used to at first but after its hard to go back. Fully loaded options are great.

Sunroof whistle. Good luck getting anyone with legs behind me in the back seat, but its a sports car thats what ya get. All 4 speakers are 4x6's and adding any kind of bass is almost a must. Winter driving SUCKS!! Ice is almost imposible, because of lack of weight in the back end. I couldnt back out of my driveway this summer because an ice storm hit, tires would just spin. Rear wheel drive is fun but if your in a ditch because of it, its definitly not.

Excellent car- especially for the price. Looks newer than it really is. I would definetly recomend this car to anyone. It has cheap insurance - mine was 130/month for full coverage and i have 6pnts and im a 16 year old guy. I recently totaled this car due to the rear wheel drive in the winter but I am looking for another, I would recomend leaving it at home in any winter conditions but that is the only thing bad. this car looks hot! I love the way the car handles, I recently made a trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage in 4 hours flat! in any other state thats probably not that great but if you have ever driven that highway, you'd know what i'm talking about. tha back seat is extremely too small. other than that, I love it.

it has alot of rattles. I really wish it would at least chirp the tires off the line. it has fairly poor low end, but midrange isn't too bad.

super cheap NOT A CIVIC!!!!!! its a very rare car and will kill any civic. really fun to drive. i got mune from an auction, if you can find a way to do that it is most likely the best bet. thats why i got mine for thousands under the bluebook price. now i can spend the money i saved on upgraded parts and my system.

THE SPOILER HOLDING WATER AND CAUSING RUST IN THE HATCH!!! (just get a new spoiler before this happens)hard to find performance parts at first but after you do find the many sites that have them you will feel like you accomplished something and having to look to find parts becomes fun. i recommend going to www.240sx.org and look around there. they have links to pages with parts found nowhere else.

super pimp car. the ladies love it. get it. hook it up with some aftermarket parts. race a civic or 2. laugh as you look at them an the rear view.
