Strength:

Excellent handling. More comfortable than the previous model and some competitors. Well-designed instrument panel and straightforward interior. Has the horsepower and torque to get the job done with a good balance of gas mileage. Lots of customization possibilities.

Weakness:

Brake rotors on this model can heat up quickly. Ventilated after-market parts are solution though a bit pricey. Minor vibration and noise can be noticeable at times. Back seats are of no practical use. Trunk space is rather limited.

This sporty coupe is an beautiful but endangered species. Rare to come by these days, at least in the part of the country I am in, one should definitely not overlook it up if you are in the market for a car of this class. Excellent in handling, quick in accelerating, and stable at high speed, once you drive one, it will always be a memorable experience. Number-wise, it may look as impressive as others in its class, but, it really is in a class of its own with its RWD design. To say the least, in the short period of time that I have owned mine, there has been four offers to buy or trade, including one for a 3000GT. That has to mean something.

Strength:

very fast as a stock car, easilly modified, drift or drag usefull, comfy (gets the girls)

Weakness:

when i first got the car i had some trouble finding parts in america but i mainly wanted to make the car as jdm as i could in bel air it's easy to find tuner shops but most don't sell jdm products

this car is so nice and faster then my previousley owned acura nsx (also a good car) I added the s15 conversion and dropped in the sr20det engine greaddy intake manifold and headers and a t67-25g turbo. it runs about 11.3 as of right now I plan to continue modding under the hood and maby i'll gut it to rreduce the weight.

Ride, handling, Reliability.

Weakness:

Like a lot of foreign cars, this thing rusts bad.

This has been a great car for me. It's also my second one. My first was an 89 automatic with 180,000 miles before someone totaled it. That one ran like it had half the miles. Very smooth. I liked it so much I bought a '90 5-spd. Currently I have 93k and I just replaced the clutch. That's all that needed it besides everyday maintanance. Brakes belts, hoses etc. Handling is unmatched. Engine needs a horsepower boost but the ride is great. Shifting is nice. Feels fast. Wish I had a sunroof.

Powerful engine, fast 4 cylinder, easily modded, rear wheel drive, excellent transmission, long lasting engine

I love this car. My first car was a 89 240sx fastback and after i fell in love with that car, i was so mad when i blew the engine, it lasted 240k miles. I have always wanted a 97-98 model, but they are so hard to find. I finally found a 95, so i jumped on the oppurtunity and got it. It the best car i have ever had for its price.

Strength:

Driving Experience/Very Enjoyable and comfortable Superb Handling Practicly no repairs/Never breaks down Stylish looks considering it's age

Weakness:

Could be faster No cupholders Stock radio and speakers are crap

I bought my 5-speed 240SX used about 7 years ago at a real cheap price due to it being a recovered theft. This car is by far the most enjoyable/reliable/cheapest car I have ever owned. Nothing ever breaks on these things. In 7 years, the only thing i've ever had to fix or change other than fluid changes and oil filters is 2 sets of brake pads(did it myself real cheap too). I drive it hard, I'm at about 100K miles now and it still runs great although it's starting to look beat up. This car handles like a dream unless you are driving it in snow(rear wheel drive), although it is very predictable in snow compared to other rear-wheel drive vehicles. 240's are known for their handling and it's definitely one of it's finest features. The car is decently fast, but not as fast as it looks. I lent my 240 to a buddy who has a 2002 Trans-Am for a day and he thought it was a much more enjoyable car to drive than the Trans-Am, except for the obvious difference in power.
