Strength:

I have gotten alot of compliments on my Altima and it is quite peppy even when the a/c is on.

Weakness:

Gas mileage is not that great but I am told that it will improve within time. I don't really care for the wood grain look on the consol, looks tacky to me. The trunk release is not so good but serves it's purpose. Would have been nice to have a V6 but picks up pretty good for a 4 cylinder.

I did alot of research before buying this car and so far I love it. But then again I've only had it for 3.5 months. In my overall opinion I think I got a pretty good deal and this car was totally loaded except for it didn't have a moon roof (no biggie).

Oh yeah, as you all know black is the worst color to get but when waxed and clean it is pretty sharp looking. If only I kept it that way all the time.

1995 Cavalier - looks nice but what a piece of crap! At 65,000 miles I had a hard time starting it.
1998 Pontiac Sunfire (Spitfire) - I loved this car but wanted something new and it had way too many miles on it. I also got tired of the two doors. Does anyone else hit their shins when getting in the back?

Strength:

Excellent cornering and acceleration. Looks great too, although I recently saw photos of the 2002 Altima and wished I waited a year.

Weakness:

There is only I don't like about the Altima. It has poor fuel economy compared to a 2001 Honda Accord (must be the more powerful engine).

I just love this car. The handling and performance are great. The car goes where you want it and when you want it. The Limited Edition comes with lots of extra features that make my friends, who own Camrys and Accords, jealous. Not to mention the fact that I paid a few thousand dollars less than them. My sister said I should have gotten the luxury model with leather seats, but I am happy with the 8-way power driver's seat. My one disappointment is that the Nissan website says that the Altima GXE/LE comes with glovecompartment lock, however it does not, nor is there a way to lock the rearseats to prevent entry into the trunk.

Powerful 4cyl engine
Nice steering/cornering
Cold AC

Weakness:

Trunk Access
Turning radius

I am very satisified with the car. No one else out there gives you that level of options for that kind of money... I got the "alpine white pearl" color because I didn't want to bother with the black. What i really wanted was the Silver though... I got in on the 3.9% financing (GREAT DEAL)

Strength:

none that I can see

Weakness:

Almost 21000 and interior is close to sentra. No wonder nissan sales were down. Paint is the worst I have seen.

Would not buy this car again. Terrible car for the money. Has paint problems. (all do) Doors are not set right. Dealer was terrible. Buy a Camary or Accord, much higher resale.

Strength:

Reliability, Reliability, good gas milage, exterior does not look dated, rides nice

Weakness:

Could be a little bigger

Who wants to read a review about a '94 car, but I am posting this one because this car has given me 7 going on 8 years of virtually trouble free driving and at 232,000 miles and still going strong, I can get up on this soap box. I have had to buy my wife two car in the time I have own this, so it has saved my butt in terms of car payments. It has only been to the dealer once in all this time and just received regular oil-changes and tune-ups and tires and that's it. I am very grateful to this car. Engine pulls strongly while reutrning good gas milage. Sporty not sport car ride, with good ergonomics. The new 2002 has caught my eye, but got to get to 300,000 miles.

Strength:

For a four cylinder it has unbelievable power, 122MPH was my fastest.
A lot of leg room in front.
The white color shines like it was new, even when the car is dirty.
The car sounds sweet when on city streets.
Good acceleration but doesn’t really pushes you back to your seat.

Weakness:

Low room in back.
Low MPG.
Original speakers are terrible.

I bought it in a car auction for $12500, with 30,000.
Now with 37,000 it’s worth $13000 (best deal ever).
After a year of use I hadn’t any problems.
Very stylish, rummy, good handling, was a little noise until I installed a second muffler.
The ride is smooth because I put wide sport tires. Incredible power since I’m using premium fuel, Motor Up, and very expensive oil. I could get her to 122MPH.
Any car can feel like a Ferrari if you treat her right.

It has been a great car. After four years, I have only replaced exhaust pipe and two mufflers. Have never even needed to add oil between oil changes.

Stereo located to Low. Avoid the Cheap Wood plastic Accents

Well, I just bought the car today and after driving a 99 Toyota Corolla for the last 2 years, It's nice to enjoy driving a Car again! I got the SE model in Platinum loaded (- leather)for $17,700. I was gonna wait for the new Altima to come out but for that price who could pass it up. It drives great and has a lot of room.
