Strength:

great looks, awesome handling, decent acceleration, good size tires, lots of options, dual airbags and abs standard, roomy interior, rear seat folds down for added storage, good factory stereo,cd changer under the dash !--how groovy is that baby!

Weakness:

welll...hmmm...damn battery is above the tire?...geeeez!! this car does chew up brake pads man! my right front rotor had more grooves in it than studio 54! Engine could use a bit more power. Steering wheel rubber wears down and crumbles a bit...i got a cover for tha darn thing. It needs to atleast have optional mud flaps...you know.....those itty bitty ones?! oh and another thing...make the rear cup holder a little more sturdy...big gulp turned into big mess!! and, can we put lights in the visor mirrors? granted it does have a mirror in each visor my girl will not quit griping because she has problems seeing to put her makeup on in my car....even if i am driving!!

well it handles great with those good size tires...i can take these FLA onramps at up to 75 mph! vrroooom! I is very roomy and a comfortable ride...although it can get a little noisy from wind noise at higher speeds. I bought it new and have taken it back for a brake recall....they say the right rear brake line rubs the rotor and in worst cases is cut and i wont tell ya what happens after that! Also the first week i had it a fuel sensor relay became dissconnected and the car wouldnt start....it had a full tank of gas mind you!! Fixed easily....took 15 minutes at the dealer. Just a couple weeks ago a tranny sensor became loose and it would only drive in low gear...it is an auto tran and the sensor told it when to shift so that sucked ass. I know all that sounds bad but I love this car!...the color is deep cranberry and i'll be damned if the paint doesnt still smell like berries after a fresh hand wax...kinda weird really...but anyway...the factory stereo jams but i did put in a 400 watt amp and two kicker 12's....the under dash cd player is great for easy access...no more getting in the trunk to change my tunes. The brakes work almost too well if you read the weaknesses. After several near accidents i had to replace a rotor and all my pads...and thats with a lot of highway driving. But i am thankful for the quick stops. Its too bad it doesnt come with a stronger engine. It does have decent acceleration for its size but some of us need a bit more muscle without the gas guzzling....so all in all gas mileage is good. This model is called the EXPRESSO.....it basically has everything except leather interior so i enjoy all the other options like cruise control and dual airbags. Which reminds me...this is a very safe car...it is just sturdy. I actually blew out a tire (right front)and managed to maintain control at about 40 mph....it veered right but stayed steady! The only thing i needed was a new rim! I have also backed into a stone mailbox and didnt get a scratch! A kia sportage backed out and hit my rear left quarter-panel and just cracked the tailight!....the guy in the kia was pissed at the dent in his car!! Serves him right man! It is a fine car altogether and i recommend it to those young like myself as well as the old. I hope to see some add-ons in the future such as a sunroof or something..not bad at $17000 new!

Strength:

Lot of space, nice outside/inside looks, accelarates great above 50 MPH, great suspension system

Weakness:

transmission, oil leaks since new, burn catalytic converter before 100,000 miles, lot of inside noise, break pads eater

I bought this car brand new retail price (about $16,500) in 1997. Not a single trouble except oil leaks which dealer corrected at about 30,000 miles. I've traveled from Houston to Miami several times and between Miami and NY, and each trip have been a pleasure except for the inside noise which is really anoying at times (have to crank up radio at killing levels!) My Breze has over 97,000 miles. NOT a single trouble considering that I've changed the oil of this car at over 5,000 niles intervals, only one spark plugs change at about 60,000 and no transmission oil change at all!! Still running super!!. I drive almost all the time at illegal speeds and the car response and handles very well always. If you need a car for long trips, and you don't mind putting with outside noise, this car is awesome for highway driving. Almost like a Cadillac ;-)

comfortable, roomy car. great sound system. very attractive car. handles great, passes easily(big trucks on highway). fuel mileage is great.

Weakness:

the tilt steering is operated by a lever underneath the wheel column, its alittle tricky to get used to.

paid 16,500Cdn. With only 19000 klms on the odometer its' just broke in! We purchased this car and the very next morning set out on a 1500klms drive! We thouroughly enjoyed it!

Strength:

strengths are it's roomy and maneuverable and holds tight on to the road.

Weakness:

transmission is aweful. it jumps 2 feet at every stop sign. hmm it tells u its switching gear bye making aweful noises. i have to lift my foot to let it switch gears. or see the rpm rise to 6.

i paid 7000 at a local auction for it. now i might sell it of course with a profit and buy a honda. its time for me to quit horsing around and buy a real car. any one reading don't buy this car unless u drive it local. the steering column taps my feet everytime i turn.huh? yeah! im replacing its brakes even thou it did only 18ooo miles. nothing beats a good old jap. american cars are only good if u buy high end. or always go for a ford a true american champ.

Strength:

The Breeze is a great inexpensive car to run errands around town. The gasoline mileage is good.

Weakness:

The lack of power from the small 2.0 engine with an automatic transmission. My car continous leaked oil until I went to arbritration with Crystler and they replaced my head gasket.

13,020 I would recommend this car as a second family car to haul the kids to school, run errands etc. It also is a great commuter car.

Strength:

Comfortable ride, excellent interior room, family car values with a sporty look, good gas milege (especially on long trips) suprising performance from the 4 cyclinder

Weakness:

Nothing mechanical....although I really would love to see all makes and models come standard with a matching spare tire. Is that alot to ask? Also, I wish the battery was not mounted over the tire.

I consider this car a steal for the $10,800 I paid for it in 98. I like the look, the ride is great, the engine is extremely peppy. Recently I had to move numerous boxes and I could carry (without the seat down) almost as much as my friend could in his Ford Ranger. I really like the interior ...stylish and efficient. Although I admit to being worried about reliability and cheap craftsmanship...my worries have been unfounded. I just hit 48,000 miles and only oil changes and really maintenance. I would really like to see this car pushed to the next level and aggresively advertised and priced. I think alot of people would be satisfied.
I would recommend this car to anyone, especially if you have kids as it has features galore. I would look to buy a model that is a demo or a year old as the price will drop and you'll get a steal.

Strength:

Comfortable seating, Roomy, Great stereo system, Quiet ride.

Weakness:

Steering column inside car has pin that tends to catch on driver side floor mat (non-factory mats) causing car to be uncontrollable if not cautious. Checked with dealership and they stated that would probably we recall on it for this reason within 6 mo-1 yr.

$10,888.
I think for the price paid, I got a great car. It is a sound car and has had no mechanic repairs to my knowledge. I would highly recommend this car to anyone that had children. It came with dual air bags, Power Windows/Lock, Power Locks. Rear seat folds down to have access to trunk.
For a smaller cylinder car it definitely has pep in passing gear as well as any other time.
Great gas mileage.

Peppy 2.4L DOHC; great mileage; incredible sound system(got the CD/Cassette combo);corners like my old mustang; comfortable ride

Weakness:

cable trunk release(instead of electric...can't use the keyless entry remote) No ABS standard on the 98 model; needs a little more lumbar support for extended drives
(all of these are available if not standard on 99 or newer models)

I really enjoy driving this car. It is really quick and fun to drive in town, and cruises along smoothly at highway speed. Now If only I can get my wife to let me drive it ;)
