Strength:

nice appearence. Runs good after you get into fourth gear. Cool air.

Weakness:

bad trans., rough shifting, bad head gaskets, and a serious pain to get rid of.

I am trying to sell this car for my parents and with the leaking transmission fluid(3rd transmission) and the racket this car makes with the A/C running, it hasn''t been an easy task. This car has 110K miles on it and although the interrior is in good shape as well as body, the guts of this beast are rotten to the core! The engine is way to small for the size and it will let you know. Shifting gears is war compared to pulling teeth. Don''t buy this piece of crap, and if you do email me, they want $5K for it.

Strength:

Body style, interior

Weakness:

I have had the Head gasket and Cam sensor replaced 3 times. It still leaks a quart of oil every week. The steering wheel shakes badly. The brakes are jerky. I can't even get rid of this car!

It's a terrible car! It looks great, but the oil leak and long list of other problems are not worth it. Plus, Chrysler's service is so bad! This car makes me sick. It's leaked oil since the day I bought it. I put more oil in it than gas. The dealer said the head gasket had been redesigned several times, looks like they still don't have it right.

Weakness:

the wheel is peeling, and it shakes at about 80mph

4 stars. I love this car. grantd I have not had it long, I have had no problems with it so far. I have put almost 10,000 miles on it in two months. Have put no money into other than my payments. I would recomend this car to young adults or family types. I would buy this again in a heart beat.

Strength:

Good gas mileage, handles like its on rails, sporty, nice sounding stereo.

Weakness:

Transmission has trouble choosing gears, knocks like crazy, power is comparable to a geo metro, likes to run very hot.

Loud noise from engine when I bought it, it was the idler pulley, replaced that. Had an oil leak, and found out it was the oil pressure sensor, so I replaced that. No head gasket problems yet with 87k on it. Knocking sound coming from engine, especially when coming down in rpm's, not sure what it is, but probably cost a lot of money, if anyone out there has had the same problem, PLEASE let me know. Transmission is very confused when it comes to choosing the right gear to be in. When you buy this car, you may as well cut a hole in your pocket, cuz if you dont it will.

1993 Chevy corsica- no problems, 1994 Ford Ranger- no problems, 1992 Explorer- head gasket, doesn't even come close to any other cars. Dont buy it unless you have money to waste.

Strength:

Very roomy. Great sound from basic stereo. Good Gas mileage. Race inspired handling. Best grill/taillight design out of the Stratus/Breeze/Cirrus group. Full fold down back seat.

Weakness:

No power locks or windows. Also no center console compartment (arm rest) this was on later models.

Great family car. Sporty and economical. Bought with blown head gasket had dealer replace it before we took it home. Have put about 30k on it with absolutely no problems. Now has 70k. Brakes are Bi-metalic so they do squeak a little (normal). Got 31 mpg with 4 adults and the trunk loaded to the top on a longer trip. Great sound system for a AM/FM Radio. Added aftermarket 6 disk changer, no need to upgrade anything else. Snappy in town and great on gas for long trips. This car has smaller motor than my old 2.2 Turismo, has more room and is physically bigger yet gets better milage.
This is a great car for a small family. Plenty of room to take all that goes along with babies, and still be sporty. If had to do over would look for one with power locks and windows.

Strength:

2.4L engine has good power
Superior Handling
Great Acceleration
Very Reliable
Stylish

Weakness:

Gives Poor Gas Mileage

I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a car that has a sporty look, yet has the room of a family sedan. I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and there is more than ample room for my legs and head inside this car. My car handles very well around curves and is very good at cornering.

This car is a gas guzzler, but that can be overlooked given the good acceleration and the stylish look of the vehicle. I would buy it again if Chrysler had not dropped the Plymouth line.

Strength:

futuristic looks, great handling, large interior, good mileage

Weakness:

would like more power than what the 2.0 delivers

$11,900 as a program car w/ 27k mi and one year old
pushing 82k mi w/ only few problems not related to damage
caused by wreck(went into ditch @ 30 mph, $3000 in repairs)
-oil leaks fixed by replacing head gasket(ext. warr.)and replace oil sending unit. Promises to be a good car-won't know 'til she hits 150k mi
Desirable for one who wants great gas mileage, lots of room and state-
of-the-art styling.
