Great gas and looks pretty good.

Engine and transmission sux ass. Spins out of control in the rain and worse in the snow.

I got this car from my brother, he had to replace the engine, transmission, and everything on this car. He drove it through highschool and a little bit of college before he gave it to me. I''ve had it only for 5 months and had to replace the transmission, cost me $1300.00 and know it keeps stalling when I stop. I hate this car.

MY SON LIKE THE BODY STYLE OF IT.IT WAS SPORTY LOOKING, YET PRATICAL. GOT EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE.

CONTINUOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE MOTOR AND NOW WITH A NEW TRANSMISSION.

WE PURCHASED THIS CAR FOR OUR SON, HOPING IT WOULD LAST HIM FOR AWHILE. WHEN WE BOUGHT IT, IT HAD A NEW TRANSMISSION. WE HAVE ONLY HAD IT ABOUT 10 MONTHS NOW. WE HAVE HAD TO REPLACE ALOT OF HOSES AND NOW THE ENGINE IS NO GOOD. ALSO THE NEW TRANSMISSION IS ABOUT TO GO OUT. IN OTHER WORDS, IT''S NO GOOD NOW. IT HAS 159,000 MILES ON IT.

plenty of speed and rpms to play with. great acceleration and small enough to squeeze into tight places. the engine compartment is set up very nicely and easy to work on.

seats are uncomfortable on long drives. the lights are very dim and the windshield wipers are horrible. tranny sucks and needed replaced, occasionally burns oil, idles low and inconsistant. this car is very expensive to repair and maintain.

Got the car with 90000 on it. owner before me didn''t keep any records so i had a local mech check and/or replace everything the manual suggested. i got clipped by a drunk a few months after i got it and as soon as i got it back the iac motor quit. plenty of problems since but it has everything a college kid could want in a car.

Very fast when it runs. The looks attract all sports car enthusiats. I get compliments on it all the time.

Everything has gone wrong with it. I have repainted it due to waterbased paint used in the 90''s due to regulations. The Timing belt went at 52000 mi seizing the 16 cams. After that the turbo blew at 70,000. New windshield at 75000 mi and most recently had the timing belt changed again. Suggested at every 30000 vice 60000. Have a cracked Manifold at this time and still thinking about upgrading everything. It is going to be a classic!!

Although it takes alot to maintain the car, it is the sweetest! If I could get to the upgraded engine parts and a good mechanic, I know that I would have less problems with it. I get alot of compliments on it''s looks and when I have been in challenging moments on the road, it runs like a dream!!

the 2.0 engine overall is very powerfull. being that its only a 4 popper. If it did''nt have the turbo equipped with it i PROBALY WOULD''NT OF BOUGTH IT.

THE LUMBAR ON THE SEATS YOU CAN''T EVEN FEEL IT. THE BACK TWO SEATS ARE MENT FOR VERY SMALL PEOPLE.

I''ve burned 6 cylinder stangs and camaros. I''ve topped her out at about 130 m.p.h. almost redlined it i let off because i ran out of room.good thing a cop did''nt see me.

Looks nice and sporty, great on gas, seat belts that automatically cover you so you can''t get a "no-seatbelt-ticket". This is a good car.

Expensive parts!!! I just paid $225 for an alternator, and $250 for the headlight replacement cover!!!

I love my laser!! I bought it cheap, because it had been in a minor accident. It''s all fixed up and running well. It''s so cute and runs so well. I feel as if I am "one" with my car. I''ve owned mustangs and celicas.....they don''t come close to this car.

It has suprisingly to much power for a for cylinder. I beat my friends v8 camoero any day.

when i drove it for the first time it really opened my eyes to how much the turbo adds. When my dad drove it he looked at me and said "i don''t think i should let you get this car" i did any way.

Strong smooth motor, decent handling. Car feels very light and is fun to drive.

Sunroof leaked in car washes, turbo whine on cold subzero mornings, terrible in snow.

The Laser is nicely put together, being a re-badged Mitsubishi. Build quality is much better than the Mustang I traded in, and with the DOHC Turbo, this thing was nearly as fast too. Too bad I had to sell it to return to school.

Speed, sporty looks, drives nice!

Those stupid automatic seatbelt choke me! I forget about them and jump out of the car and they choke me and get caught in my hair! Well mine is a 5 speed! It took me 3 months to learn how to drive it. I thought my dad was gonna go insane. He wanted to trade it but I was already attached! I am suprised I finally learned how! Can you imange a 15 year old BLONDE with a 5 speed! It makes me so mad when people get right on your ass when you are at a complete stop. I just feel like putting on the parking brake and jumping out of my car and yell at the stupid idiot who is behide me. LOL

Wow! I am in love with my car. I have had it since Sept. 12. I am only 15 but I drive it anyways. It is so fast. Way to fast for me. I am gonna get killed with a car of that kind of speed.
