When I first got this car I didn''t expect much. I used it as a pizza delivery car and it did quite well. I didn''t have to do anything to it to get it on the road. It passed the safety with flying colours. I only paid $600 for it and it had 164,000 KM on it. I only expected it to last the summer. Since then I''ve had it 2 1/2 years and I''m very happy with it. I''m really rough with my cars and for it to of lasted this long is amazing.

I''ve had lots of cheap cars, Dodge Shadow, Ford Escort, Ford T-Bird, Honda Civic DX, etc. This was just a really good deal.

It was insane!!!! It was the most comfortable car to drive and a lot of fun.It looked great too.

Some parts were expensive and it was hard to work on but that''s an import for you. It ran great but I had a clutch go out and it was hard to find mechanics willing to work on it.

I loved it. Once I shifted into second gear and the Turbo kicked in you were gone. I raced numerous cars from I-Roc Z Camaros to Honda civics with V-tecs and not one would come close,there wasn''t hardly a stock vehicle in town that would touch it besides the high end sports cars.

incredable power for the size engine, very fast, and great acceleration. its also a great car to put a small system in.

i have a few problems with it, it will smoke a little when it idles for a short period of time, but its just a valve guide seal that needs replaced. the front left axle also needs replaced because its popping when i turn. parts are also expensive for this car, but beleive me, its well worth it. over all, ive only made two repairs to it, and she''s running great. for 146,00 miles, its still running like a new engine.

This is my first car, and for a first car, its great. My Laser is metallic blue and its the 5 speed version with a 1.8 95 HP 4 cylinder engine. This car has incredable speed and acceleration, and it handles great in the corners at high speeds. i''ve hit 0-60 in around 8 seconds. I stuck a Pioneer CD player in it and two 6 1/2 inch pioneer speakers in the back, its not much but it sounds great in this car.

Shifting can be a chore, back seat room is a joke.

An absolute rocket! When you shift into second gear and the turbo kicks in, you feel like you''re in warp speed. The car has the feel of a higher scale sports car and It''s a great value.

small back seat. clutch is still original it always slips and i need a triple plate, thats next to come

this car is my favorite. It is fast as hell and is great looking. just put a stage three turbo on it and man it will rip your face off. love how fast it spolls up. great handeling and easy to fix. do all mechanics myself. never lost a race

Quick get up. I''ve gotten it up to 105 mph before slowing down to a car who pulled out in front of me. Handles nicely. 157,000 miles on it and it''s still runnin strong.

As said above, no backseats..but that''s cool with me..I don''t like alot of people to ride with me anyway. Also..the horribable grinding/running over a fat lady noise when you''re backing up..it''s your rear brakes..they''re hanging up and grinding..so I was told. Mine does that periodically.

The car is really fast for a 1.8 4 cyl. The car was junk when I got it. But after a real nice scrub down with some highly detailed cleaning..it was lookin tight. Just put new tires, breaks, air filter, battery, and sound system in it. Kenwood CD player, 6 1/2 inch woofers in the rear panels and 2 10"s with 2 400 watt amps with crossovers bridged on each sub.

speed,speed,speed. on top of running like a champ for so long, it will surprise you with its quickness. there heve been many vitims of my laser (mustang, civic, and most recently my bosses F150 for ex..). this car is a work horse, ive put it through god knows what and its still standing. if u have the chance BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one thing that stands out which by the way i also saw in another review is reverse. evertime you back up and hit the brakes it makes a loud horriable noise.

best car i''ve ever owned!!! been through hell and back since i''ve bought in in 97 when it was 3 years old. 189,00 miles. yeah, thats right. 94 with 189,00 miles and still runs like a champ. seven years old all those miles alls it has cost me was a new cluth and a new alternator. as far as im concerned the best car that no one knows about.

I had it for about a month when I had to replace the Radiator and the computer When it is in park it idols extremly high Then when you change gears the whole car jumps The a/c doesn''t work Besides having no backseat, it has alot of giddyup- and -Go Handles very well All around an Ok car
