Strength:

Reliability (so far) Bought from a great dealership Controls are easily reachable Cold AC Keyless entry Power everything Powerful enough engine for me Looks like a little Lexus

Weakness:

None so far.. I wanted a Tacoma but decided to save a little money and get something economical... I still feel like I paid a bit much..six years is a long time

I have only had this car for about five days now...but I can tell I'm going to enjoy it for the next five years. I feel like I just bought a QUALITY product. At this time, I am extremely pleased with the Corolla and I doubt I will change my mind. (Maybe I love it so much since I just got rid of my 96 Plymouth Neon...)

1996 Plymouth Neon... That thing was a piece of CRAP. Left me stranded more than three times. Never again will I buy a Dodge product.

There is a rattle in the back window area. I've taken it twice already, and it's worse than ever - the mechanics took it apart, and now the plastic rattles. The sound appears to be coming from the rear window area. Driving me NUTS. When the air conditioning is on, the engine surges forward - keep your foot well on the brake pedal! Haven't noticed the "rotten egg smell" that some of the other reviewers are reporting. Overall, I'm not very pleased with my Corolla :(

Strength:

Rock solid car, good price, good milage, not too small, has good acceleration for a small engine

Weakness:

A/C seems like it could be colder, although I was in 115F when it wasnt getting cold enough. Other people's cars seemed to be able to keep the temp down though. In strong winds it gets blown around very easily, but that is to be expected with a smaller car. Has trouble climbing hills in the Automatic unless you switch off the overdrive which the owners manual tells you not to do, seems like they shouldnt say not to if it cant handle it on it's own. I would expect to downshift when climbing.

This is a nice little car. It gets great gas milage no matter where you are at. I bought this expecting a cheap car to get from point A to B, but it has exceeded my expectations. When I moved, I drove this car 2300 mi to Cali. It gave me no problems except on some of the large hills, when I had to switch off the overdrive. It is a good size for a cheaper car, not tiny like the Echo, you actually have room to put stuff in it.

Strength:

Adorable Good gas mileage Nice Ride Luxury at a low cost

Weakness:

Wish it had a little more power...

Just got my fully loaded carolla and it is DYNOMITE! Quite perky engine, suprisingly smoothy ride (I figured it'd be a shocking downgrade from camrys but that wasn't the case...only a little less powerful accelleration). The redesign has made it look TOO CUTE...like a "baby lexus" as i've heard it described. Very luxurious interior with convenient location of gadgets and nice options for that price.

I bought my Corolla last June. I have had it back to the dealer's numerous times because all the windows rattle in the car. I even had to have the rear window removed and resealed. The car gets good gas mileage, but does not handle well on the highway when windy. Would I buy another Corolla, probably not.

Weakness:

rotten smell, aligment, fuel economy, wind noise, ratteling

freedom!!!!!!!!!!! Corolla is sold! I had corolla for 5 months, 23000 km. not a bad car for city driving, annoing, unpleasant on highway. wind noise very high, handling bad, aligment problems (dealer did aligment 4 times), breaks not bad (mine had abs),fuel economy bad, interior ok. I traded corolla in for 2003 camry, it is hard to believe that those two are toyotas (corolla must be unwanted orphan)
