IROC-Z 5.0L TPI
Strength:
LOOKS! My Iroc is black with gold decals and rims. It is a great car for the money and 97% of the IROCS on the road now need owners who are willing to restore them.
Weakness:
Fuel pump, catalytic converter, valve guides, to many Mustang owners jump out of their cars at stoplights to try and trade me~! haaha Car gets beat by most 5.0 mustangs but looks about 10 times better. Hos before goes! Car is a good cheap buy. These will be collector cars so start getting them now. I already have 3 stored in a garage. 1990 was the last year for the IROC and is the best to collect with the 350L98. Similar Products Used: 1996 Cobra, 1999 30th TA, 2001 SS all good rides |

I LOVE this car... I bought it for less than 2k, all stock. I completely rebuilt the stock 170hp 350 up to 360hp, new cam, Edelbrock 600 4bbl carb, lifters, heads (ported and polished) Carbon fiber drive shaft, and a new posi rear end make my baby FLY. I put a set of Hooker Headers stright into 6" sidepipes and it roars. I then had the car repainted from factory white to a Dark Cranberry Metallic w/ Ghost flames. Very hot car. Anyhow, I HIGHLY recommend picking up one if you can find one, they're gems....
Weakness:
Minor squeals from windows on bumpy roads, and somebody stole my stereo. (Not that it's the car's fault) Overall very happy with the car, very original, and lives up to it's livcense plate "8URSTANG"M (And for those of you who are license plate lingo impaired, that means "ate your stang" Similar Products Used: 1991 Camaro RS 5.0l v-8: 79 not as predictable on handling, but fuel efficiency stayed the same |

Head-Snapping power, tight cornering, t-tops are a must, the body has a great look to it, easy to upgrade, low & wide from factory, can take abuse, fun to drive!!!
Weakness:
Isn't the best car built in terms of squeeks and rattles-go over a damn bump and it's like u jumped the grand canyon, t-tops leak in the rain, shifts hard from 1st to 2nd, Gas Mileage is pretty bad, the car has a different mood everyday This is a very fun car to drive. As long as you have the radio loud, the squeeks and rattles dont bother you. Great car in the summer or spring with the t-tops off. If you have to get on it, it responds. It's a great looking car with the right color and as long as you take car of the paint. The center of gravity is low so it can take a turn really nicely. As long as you maintain your car and dont beat on it all the time, it's a great car. Replacing most parts are very easy and very, very cheap-so easy to get by many manufactures. I wish the t-tops didnt leak and the ride quality was a bit better, but I am satisfied w/this car. Similar Products Used: 83 Z28-Similar |

THIS CAR IS MY PRIDE AND JOY,I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CAR.
Weakness:
MY EXPENCES WERE MINIMAL. THERES ONLY A FEW THINGS THAT ARE WRONG WITH IT. IF YOU WANT A NICE LONG LASTING CAR, I WOULD SUGGEST A CAMARO, NOW I'M NOT SAYING GETTING A CAMARO SS, IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE TOO MUCH FOR YOU. WELL WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT GET ANY CAR THAT YOU WANT, READING THESE ARTICLES, SHOULD NOT DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT YOU GET A CERTAIN CAR. I'M JUST SAYING I ENJOY MY CHEVY VERY MUCH AND I THINK YOU WILL TO. Similar Products Used: MUSTANG COBRA- DODGE DAKOTA R/T SUPED-UP - BMW 5 SERIES - STRATUS R/T |

Iroc Z28
Strength:
Fast, fast, very damn FAST. Looks so awsome and stylish. Nice stock rims with wide low profile good year tires (285/50/R16). Love the ground effects and style of the Iroc pakage. The T-Tops are nice as long as the sun isn't shining in my face when im driving. Its got a newly rebuilt and bored 305. Alos had the heads shaved and new headers. PLUS a brand new posi-traction rear end. The only thing not been souped up is the tranny.
Weakness:
A dent in the rear driver side quarter panel. Could use a shot of paint and new decals. The interior needs a few things done. Needs a CD player (which im goin to get soon). Other than that its perfect. The price for this car really is $2,000. It was sent to the shop to have all these upgrades and mods done to it. Then the owner went threw a devorce before it was all done and couldn't pay for the work so the shop is selling the car to pay for the work and get there money back. It was estimated to be worth over $5,000 as is. After im done getting paint and new decals along with the interior work it will be estimated to be worth near $7,000. I haven't got the car yet but when and if my loan goes threw it will be mine by the end of this week. If you are wondering how I know about the other stuff its because I done alot of talkin to the shop owner and we have had a test drive to show me its speed and agility. I have never seen a car so fast in my life. When we took off there was no black marks or squeeling it was just BOOM and we are gone. It slung my head back in the seat so fast I didn't realize we were gone till it was movin at a whoping 85+ mph in under 7 sec. (only registers 85 mph). For you who say this car isn't for "TEENS" your right. Its way to fast for most people to handle and even more so when its had work like this done to it. Guess what i'm 19 and im gona buy it anyways so hahaha. Don't worry though i'm a very safe driver and don't like speed so much. I'm more of a cornering kinda person. I just like to know that I have a 305 V8 fast as a mother ***** engine under the hood should I ever need to use it. Wish me luck on my loan guys and I'll see you all on the road. Look me up if you ever come to a rod run here in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We just had one last week and I seen more super cars than most of you ever dream of. Similar Products Used: Nothing is like this car that i've ever had or drove. My '87 Honda Accord LXi is about as close as i've ever been to having such a great car. |

Camaro Z28
Strength:
The car is a classic camaro in the sence of it's heritige. It has power to spare and turnes heads whereever I go. All the guys at the Frat house like it and the Monsoon Sound system is killer. It is better than the 2 previous camaros that I have had.
Weakness:
Like the Camaros of old it is crappy when it comes tofully funtioning relability. The Check engine like it stuck on, even post dealership visit, and the car tends to have its moods. Mind you that I dont abuse my car and it is always kept up on it's maintnence schedual, but is still tempermental. For only having 47,000 miles its starting to act old. My 1997 Camaro is a cool car. Its a Social tool that comes in Handy since im in college in Los Angeles area, (materialistic culture). The car is no something that I can see myself keepng much past graduation. Its not a troublesome thing to own but it has its drawbacks and plusses. I just love the power and the looks I get beacuse it is a typical Red American sports car. Similar Products Used: 1985 Camaro IROCZ- The 1997 is a better car in terms of finishing design and relability. |

Good torque and power. The gas mileage wasn't that bad actually-it was fuel injected. (The carb. Engines are much, much worse on gas-sucks it down like there's no tomorrow.) Handled well. Great looking body with the right colors. The t-tops are great in the nice weather. A fun car to drive.
Weakness:
T-top's leak in the rain. Tough to pass inspection if it isn't the facory compenents. This was a good car for the price I paid. It never overheated on hot summer days. (A/C didnt work) The faster you went, the more smooth it got. The steering was good, but a little to loose for my taste. Don't beat on the car everyday, and it will last you. Mine has 180k miles. Looks BAD @$$. LS1 V8 makes you feel like you're driving a nuclear powered locomotive. Handles awesome. Monsoon sound system is pretty dang awesome for being bone-stock. Seats are comfy and rear aren't ALL that bad for around-town driving or for kids. Chick magnet. As fun to drive as my motorcycle...and seats 4. T-tops off on a beautiful Texas day makes me smile from ear to ear...then I put it in third and dust a Honda Civic and I smile even bigger!!!
Weakness:
My insurance agents' kids are going through college on my payments (*OUCH*). The F-16 fighter-pilot-angled seats take a little getting used to...you sort of fall in and climb out, but the ride there makes you forget about it, TRUST ME!!! My Camaro is AWESOME.
