HOLY (*^*^&$*) It's beautiful,Lightining quick and corners as fast as you can steer. It's sheer presence is enough to scare away most, but it can smoke most anything you'll come across on the road.

A bit Querkey, but mine was not cared for and has been hit hard at least once.

I've allways wanted one! Finally I found a multi owner, True miles unknown, wrecked at least once, freshly painted (FLAME RED) 1989 Corvette. All I can say is God bless America!!! Where else can a working stiff like me lay out 4 G's and get... Blistering Performance, Cornerning like it's on rails, looks from everyone, compliments everywhere I go,Espcially BLONDES!!!!! Annnnddddd, Swere the trip computer is saying 20.8 miles per gallon. 399 miles last week on 1 tank. I live 48 miles from work and this is without a doubt the most awesome car I have ever owned. I can't wait till I can buy one in really top notch condition. I cant imangine how cool they must be concidering what this old thing still is capable of. Neer as I can tell 0 to 60 in about 5 sec, and easily into the 140s without effort. I am afraid of how fast it would go once in overdrive lockup. WOW!!! If your ever thinking of trying one remember, It's a serious fast and dangerous and quick automobile that can sneak up on you QUICK. It was not built for comfort, though it ain't all that bad. But do it and become one of the ones who know... Anything else is just a car!.

it is very good very fast and it is a fun car it all started out when i bought it frome my local dealer and then i put a superchager in it and after that my wife said that it was too slow so i put in some nitris.

Good looking machine. Too cool with the top down. Put your foot in it, and she will scoot. Always get compliments on how nice it looks. My car has no rust under the hood or underneath. (most components are aluminum anyway) Body is in perfect shape. The top is still in great shape as well. My car only has 75,000 miles on it. Its surpisely comfy. I also own a 99 Ram Cummins long bed. My butt doesnt get sore on long trips in the vette like it does when I drive my truck, its a great highway car!!
Of all my grips, this car is extremely fun and I love it. I wouldnt sell it for any price and I wouldnt trade it for anything.

Very expensive to fix. This is no poor mans vehicle!! Have to change oil every 2000 miles cause it runs hot!! Cooling fan doesnt click on until water temp is 228 degrees. When drivin in the rain, the top leaks. Again, replacement parts are very expensive. Be very aware of that when looking to buy older vettes.

What can I say about a car my father sold me for a buck. Its a red convertible with a tan top. Tan leather with a black dash...a barbie vette.

Its a really fun car to drive. Its 14 years old, it has a few ragged edges. The service light comes on when I spray the motor down...which in turn makes the car run like a three legged cat. The seats need to be recovered really bad. At 500 bucks to cover each seat, Im considering duct tape and tan seat covers from NAPA. This is no race car, it may be a vette, but its fourteen years old. I owned an 87 Buick Grandnational a few years ago, so this car does not impress me a whole lot when I mash the right pedal to the floor. The vette is rated 0-60 in 6.8 seconds and the quarter mile will pass you by in 14.7 (manufactures specs) This car does not stop on a dime. Rated for about 160ft at 60-0. (owners manual info)

EVERYTHING, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, GAS MILEAGE, CSTOMER SERVICE!!! WACK CARS DESERVE no attention at all. Especially american cars!!

Corvettes are the worst of all sports cars. My Acura NSX and Porsche 911 twin turo will kill this car. The corvette is even listed as one of the top WORST used cars along with a whole bunch of other "Made in the US" pieces of crap!!! If you don't believe me then go to Yahoo auto's section and check out the consumer reports. Then tell me why 99% of the best USED and NEW cars are Foriegn and 100% of the USED cars are "MADE IN THE US" crap american pieces of trash!!! The corvette is supposed to be america's pride!! All that horsepower don't mean crap. It still SUCKS!!!
I'd recommend people stop buying american cars and that will force the manufacturer to make better products!!!!
