Ford Mustang (2010 and older) Sports

Ford Mustang (2010 and older) Sports

DESCRIPTION

The Mustang has been redesigned for 2010. Fresh new sheet metal wraps around an updated interior, giving the icon a more modern look and feel.

The Mustang is available either as a coupe or convertible. Each is available with a V6 or a V8. The 210-hp 4.0L V6 carries over unchanged. The 4.6L V8 receives an increase in power - producing 315-hp for 2010. A five-speed manual transmission is standard; a five-speed automatic is optional. All Mustangs are equipped with standard electronic stability control and LED sequential tail lamps for enhanced safety.

Strength:

Looks great and is reliable, it never fails me.

Weakness:

The seats are really bad (not comfortable), my Eclipse has a lot better seats. Enought power but it should have a little bit more. The automatic shifting points are not so good. About the body I''d like it a little bit shorter. The worst are the seats, sometimes I prefer to drive my Eclipse because of that.

I just love it.

Similar Products Used:

Camaro, FireBird, Eclipse, Integra. more power will be great, however the V6 beats everything in its price range (unfortunately the GT doesn''t).

Strength:

Decent acceleration, comfortable

Weakness:

None

I have a 91 2.3 liter convertible and I love it. The 2.3 in the car is the one with twin sparks (2 plugs per cyllinder) and 2 coil packs. The car handles decently in rain/snow with good tires as I have driven it the past 2 winters

Looks, not power!

Weakness:

No geddy-up!!

This car is great! The stock horsepower from Ford could be a little higher though, 193 isnt sufficient. I have added the basics, flowmasters, K&N air filtercharger, edelbrock throttle body to raise it to 220 HP and improved acceleration. but it would have alot more potential if Ford would have some balls to make this thing a true musclecar like in the 70''s.

Strength:

Good handling, low end torque, the girls love it, and can melt a set a new tires very quickly

Weakness:

Needs modifications for overall better car (stickier tires, bigger intake, free flowing exhuast, and short throw shifter)

I have always wanted one and there has been no disappoint so far. The car is solid and a few modifications make this thing really scream!

Strength:

The handling is great. The CD player is a must have.

Weakness:

Doesn't handle real good in the rain. Glove box is small. The tires are really expensive to replace. The insurance is expensive.

LOVE IT!! This was my first brand new car and I am so glad that I bought it. I love the power it has and of course it looks wonderful. Well worth the money. It is not even as bad on gas as I thought it would be...provided that you it drive reasonably!! I have had it for over 5 years and no problems what so ever, just a couple of recalls. I would highly recommend!

This is the first sports car I have had, so I really don't have anything to compare it to. My other car was a Pontiac Sunbird...no comparison!

Strength:

engine is tough to break, great seats

Weakness:

poor brakes, fading plastic, prone to rust

Unless, it's a GT, it's prone to rust. Everyone knows that, sorry. It's easy to make a 180 on dry pavement. Good for U-turns. Very good seating position. Seats are softer than those in many modern cars. Unless you take care of it, expect bad gas mileage and high emisions. Low HP, no real pull at high rpms.

Acura Integra- my girlfriend has the integra, I raced her. I smoked teh hell out of the weak ass 4 cylinder.
Camaro- Doesn't even compare to a mustang. Mustangs are soo much faster.
RX-7- My friend has one, he smoked the hell out of me... twin turbo. I didn't stand a chance.
Civic- yeah right like a turbocharged civic even stands part of a chance against a mustang.

Strength:

When I first got the car it was very dependable. Then months later it was like a lemon. Everything thing seemed to go wrong.

Weakness:

Very unreliable. Not as fast as they seem.

The Mustang GT is ok. But I would rahter get a better performing camaro or Trans Am.

Similar Products Used:

I now have an 87 Trans Am GTA. Much better handling/accelaration.
